Just popped in for a hot chocolate, the staff were friendly, and the hot chocolate delicious

We visited this cafe and enjoyed what we had but when we went to pay for it, the cost was shocking!! A bacon roll £5.45, really?? Felt like we were being charged tourist prices. I for one, won't be going back.

Super sweet staff, the food came fast and was tasty.

Friendly local cafe that does a nice breakfast. They let us bring in our dog, so long as he was well-behaved, and he didn't let us down.

A wee bit off the beaten track, so you might not notice it, but it's well worth the visit. Just round the corner from the bus and the train station. The is great and the service really attentive

They do a great work within the community. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was good, the soup of the day was lovely! You gotta try the baked potato with chicken! Scones were good too, too bad they only had fruit scones.

Fantastic food in a lovely, welcoming cafe. Even better it's part of a social enterprise, helping young people get into work so you get to give young people a helping hand while eating amazing food and cake. If that's not a win-win I don't know what is! 😄

Called in for lunch whilst in Inverness. Fantastic restaurant, we had soup of day and Cullen Skunk, both were very very good.aervice great, busy, great atmosphere...would highly recommend

Get the Big, or Wee, Scottish Breakfast! Or, likely you can get anything else and it’s going to be great! Hats off to the cooks and staff at this little gem of a cafe! Outstanding food at a fair price!

The food was very good but the coffee was quite awful

Positives: good wifi, close to the train station, abundant gluten-free options, supports local folks in need. Negatives: 30 minute wait for basic breakfast (toast, poached egg, sausage link, and a piece of bacon) and the beans were still cold, coffee was pretty harsh. The cafe does get good overall reviews, so it's possible we just had a bad experience. Not great, though, if you're waiting for a train or want to squeeze in some breakfast on any kind of timeline.

A socially responsible café providing work experience for young adults. Proper tea, made with loose leaves in pots with built-in strainers! Too rare these days but, ironically, cheaper than tea bags, better flavour and better for the environment too! Sadly, only discovered this place on the last day of my trip, but an excellent breakfast (beans on toast with grilled cheese) with first class ingredients.

I really loved this place. Food lovely. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Cakes delicious. Place was spotlessly clean too.

Always a pleasure of going there. Their poached eggs are sublime, the music choice today was great. So much so that I asked one of the staff about it and her face lit up like a Christmas tree saying 'I chose it today'

Ok, nothing special. Staff were not welcoming at all. Sat ourselves at a table, waitress was more interested in talking to a regular customer or friend. Just ok, wouldn't hurry back. I live in Inverness and not just a casual tourist. Probably won't return due to the uninterested server. P.s, could also see the chef munching on food, no hand washing. Very poor.

This was a solid place to get breakfast. We came in just after 8 and it was fairly empty. We both had eggs on toast with a side of bacon and sausage. The sausage was so good I got a roll to go. The cappuccino was phenomenal. Best I’ve had in Scotland.

We ate a Scottish breakfast on the recommendation of the place, we accompanied it with a delicious tea, everything was very good; The girl who served us was very friendly and pleasant, it is a place I would return to.

We liked everything quite a bit, the potato pancake at the Scottish breakfast was delicious. The French toasts are very good too. The porridge was what we liked least because we expected more flavor. The hot chocolate was good although very runny, we personally like it thicker

Whilst looking for somewhere independent for breakfast I found this cafe and when I read that it was a social enterprise I decided we would do our little bit to help. It’s a nice layout and the staff are fantastic. We chose to share a cafetière instead of having 2 americanos and it was a lovely pot of coffee. There was a choice of blends as well. My wife chose the sweet brioche French toast and she loved it. It came with fruit, natural yogurt and a berry compote and she enjoyed it. I went for the big Scottish breakfast which was quite a plateful. Great to see locally sourced products on the plate and it was thoroughly enjoyed. It wasn’t cheap but when you know the profits are being well used it makes it worth it. The offer of a hot drink and a scone for £4.99 seems exceptionally good value.

We came here multiple times during our stay in Inverness because the food, drink and service were all so lovely. You can't beat a coffee and a scone at the special price (check the wall inside, as it was not on the printed menu). But everything we had was very tasty. We will miss coming here!

Absolutely loved this cafe - while many places next to major stations are overpriced or of low quality, Artysans provides a great breakfast and drinks at fair prices, so definitely great if you need something to eat in and around Inverness.

Very nice and social café. We enjoyed the soup and sandwiches very much and it is really well located if you are traveling as it is between bus and train. The staff was very friendly and also the cake was good. There are quite some lights inside which makes it a bit too bright, so a bit more atmosphere would be great. But that's really nit picking .

Beautiful Cafe with very good service

Popped in quite late, and there were only a couple of customers in. The staff that served us were clearly nervous and must have been very recent starters. However, they did try very hard. The food was good and I would go back again.

A lovely place to enjoy a super tasty breakfast (or lunch). The atmosphere ist cosy, the food and drinks absolutely delicious and the prices are fair. The staff is very friendly. They also have a program to support local youth. It's close to the bus and train station, so it's perfect if you have to catch a train or bus afterwards. I highly recommend! :)

Well the all round experience was superb, very friendly staff, and the big breakfast was to die for, especially the Stornoway black pudding. All 6 of us really enjoyed our breakfast. Well recommend.

Great start to the day, we devoured these tasty breakfast sandwiches on fresh buns with sharp cheddar, fried egg! Outstanding waitstaff, friendly & charming . The mission of this Cafe (to stabilize, coach and train young people)is incredibly inspiring. We will be back!

Service was great and the food was delightful. The Scottish breakfast was amazing especially the black pudding. We had the Indonesian coffee which was also lovely. Would highly recommend and it’s also for a great charity.

Fully recommended. Food is delicious and so is the coffee selections. Brilliant help to the community and the staff are a credit to themselves. Had to wait 10min for a table but we did not mind that, well worth it!

Abundant variety of choices between sweet and flavoury. Tried the scottish breakfast and It was good. Another perk: It opens early in the morning. It's also a good thing that they're part of a trust that helps young challenged people.

This is a great social centre in Inverness. All the staff are helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome. It's an excellent organisation as it's a not-for-profit enterprise that helps young people get started into the big, bad world of work. Food is fresh, generous and delicious. They specialise in Cullen Skink but vegetarians and coeliacs are also catered for. Italian spoken.

Best bacon roll I've ever had! Why? Lovely fresh morning roll. Well-filled with freshly cooked, good quality bacon which arrived hot. The generously-sized pot of tea was good too. Friendly service and my tea arrived almost immediately, quickly followed by the bacon roll. I'm only sorry I was dashing to make a bus connection or I'd have tried the delicious-looking scones or even a full cooked breakfast! Good decor and ambience. Definitely worth popping round the corner from the bus station.

Great quick service and dishes, which are a good straightforward holiday breakfast. Friendly waitpeople, relaxed cafe, plenty of (paid) parking nearby. Also near the centre of town, so good starting point.

Amazing! The French toast was probably the best I've ever had - light and perfectly done, not soggy or stodgy, and paired with fresh, delicious fruit. Textures and flavors were just perfect. Coffee and service were spot on as well. I wish I had more time in Inverness, as I would absolutely go back to Cafe Artysans for more meals, which I usually never do (I like to sample different places) but this cafe was too good not to return to. And on top of how good the food was, the location is excellent, too - close to hotels and transit stations.

Don’t miss this cafe. Friendly efficient staff, spotlessly clean and the best croque monsieur my husband has ever had (and he’s had a few). I had pear walnut and blue cheese salad - delicious. If we weren’t leaving tomorrow we’d be going back for lunch.

Delicious breakfast, we had a porridge and a French Sweet Brioche with a Chai latte and a hot chocolate. Everything was tasty. Fair price. Nice staff. We definitely recommand the place!
