A group of 4 eork colleagues and a dog on Friday night. Lovely atmosphere, great food and even better staff. Would definitely recommend

Not local but by chance ended up in this pub. It was great and exactly how your local pub should be . We only had drinks that I must say were reasonably priced. Atmosphere was friendly and the staff were welcoming. There was a duke box plus darts and pool. It is a shame I do not live closer or I would definitely return.

A wee update. Came for food. Everything excellent except for the fish. Fish batter was ok, not my liking. I'm not keen on batter with herbs, wish I knew before order. Just a personal preference. Perhaps give a choice, plain batter or herbs. None the less great service and portions. Very friendly and down to earth staff. Such a great pub, the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Very friendly and definitely worth a visit. Cheers, we are looking forward to our next pint.

Craig and collette run an amazing bar with amazing staff working for them. Brendan the chef does super tasty meals at great prices. 2 pool tables, multiple dart boards, dominoes, jukebox. Fabulous fully covered beer garden. The locals are all very friendly ( one or two a bit grumpy ) 😂 Amazing whiskey selection as well as gins and other drinks all priced well. Well worth a visit.

Stopped in today after I remembered Steve Marsh had given the place a shout out. I'm assuming it was the owner we met and he was super friendly and welcoming. We opted for the BBQ burger and it was really great quality and value. Definitely coming back!!! (soon)

Brilliant pub. We had 2 beef stew, 1 fish and chips and 1 mince and tatties. Everyone throughly enjoyed the meals and the drink was great too. The atmosphere in the pub was fantastic. Staff were a delight. We will be back, without a doubt. Scottie Sutherland.

Kitchen was closed because it was Monday, but the staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and we had darts and pool to play.

Good lunch, excellent pub where you can eat well, genuinely for little money. A place to visit if you are in Inverness. Highly recommended!

We were there to take part in the weekly pub quiz. The atmosphere was really good and relaxed. It seemed like we were the only tourists in the bar that evening, but we were warmly welcomed and the quiz master kept asking if we were having a good time. The drinks and small bar snacks were top-priced. Unfortunately we couldn't test the food because the kitchen closes at 5 on Sunday. Still worth a visit, especially for the quiz!

I have only been here in the evenings and have yet to have a meal but what I see coming out looks fantastic. Good atmosphere and a really good pint of Guinness.

During a stopover in Inverness during a trip, we stopped at the Innes to have dinner and drink a nice beer. Excellent choice, welcoming and friendly place, typical atmosphere (which I really like and always appreciate). A fond memory of Claire, very kind and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return.

I have been to this establishment quite a few times now, and I can honestly say i have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly the food is delicious a good variety of wines,beers and spirits. Overall a very friendly atmosphere i would recommend this Public house it's a 10- out of 10 .

Didn't have food this time. But what a deceiving "little" pub. Superb secret beer garden out back.

Its was a very cold January day so we caught the bus into town and headed to the Innes Bar for a late lunch, and it was a delight. To start I had a pint of Theakston's Old Peculiar ale which is my favourite beer. We ordered out meal, I have a sirloin steak and my wife asked for the beef stew. Both meals were perfect, hot, tasty and well presented. Followed by a glass of wine , it was a really nice afternoon treat.

Thank you Collette & family for making us feel at home, we visited on the 30th December 2023. The food you will have to definitely try, it was amazing. They let my nephew and son who are 11yrs & 14yrs play on the dartboards. They both in the JDC darts academy an even got customers having a throw with them. Highly recommend, if your in the area definitely worth a visit, lovely friendly atmosphere. So thank you once again. Can't wait to come back and say hello from Marie & David, & boys from Burnley, England.

ein ganz normaler Pub ohne Highlights - habe nur ein paar Bier getrunken - die Wirtin ist höflich, aber etwas spröde, der Wirt unnahbar - meine Abschiedsworte "ciao bella" hat wohl keiner von beiden verstanden - vor ein paar Jahren habe ich dort (seinerzeit war ein anderes Wirtepaar dort) den Liveauftritt eines mittlerweile weltberühmten schottischen Sängers erlebt und bin deshalb noch einmal hingegangen - naja; Innes Bar liegt nah am Hafen und ist deshalb erste Adresse in Inverness für mich

Can’t recommend this place enough! Our lunch was delicious and the lady and gentleman in charge were delightful. It was recommended by our private driver as a place he and his come frequently, and I can see why. It was friendly, the food was so good, and overall a great experience!

Good setting and the location. A very friendly atmosphere a traditional Highland pub. The waitress sadly was on her own when we arrived and also more people arrived at the same time. She handled the situation very professionally and euthastic. Always kept us informed and apologetic on the delay with our food. Once I got my burger I was more than impressed and tasted delicious and well worth the wait. I'll definitely will be back in again for and certainly was valve for money

Been going to Inverness for over a decade for a night out. First time visit to this bar. Nicely decorated, lots of space. Large outdoor seating/smoking area. Darts and pool table. Decent pint, customers were friendly. Will definitely be back

Had a fab night at the innes bar for 80s night, we all had a fantastic time there, also had pizza, best in Town. Manager and staff are all fab so friendly. Love this place.

My wife’s parents had been staying with us for their three-week summer staycation, and as a treat they took us out for a late lunch before we take them home in a few days’ time, and at our suggestion we went to the Innes Bar. We each had a different meal and they all were really tasty, very well presented and very importantly, they were all piping hot. Grandad had the stew and mashed potatoes and he loved it, he actually raved about it and is still doing so over 24 hours later, “That’s a proper stew, it’s the best pub meal I have ever had”, was just one of his quotes! We live out of town, around 8 miles away but we have called into the Inness bar a few times over the years and I have found the owner to be an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host. His staff are the same too, work place culture really does stem from the top. All in all, we had a really wonderful dining experience and I now have to bring granny back on next years visit so she can taste the home-made chicken pie!

We spent an afternoon catching up with friends we had not seen for a number of years in the Beer Garden of the Innes Bar The Pub does food, which we did not have on this visit, but judging by the number of people there, it is a very popular hostelry. There was a good atmosphere in the bar, and there was a good range of spirits and beers on offer. Staff were friendly, and service was quick. An enjoyable afternoon in the sun.

Been here many a time, but decided to have lunch on a recent day trip. Fabulous service, really friendly crowd and the food was brilliant.

Haven't been here for years and a friend recommended it so went for lunch yesterday. We had mac n cheese, and scampi. Both come with chips and the scampi with peas, coleslaw and salad too. Food was hot and really good, big portions too. Great value. I'd forgotten how big the bar was inside, at one end there's darts and pool tables, normal pub seating in the middle and a designated restaurant area at the other side. It was a bit chilly outside so we didn't try the beer garden but will definitely be back. Service was excellent too. A fab pub!
