The best restaurants in Anderston / City Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

Had been there a few times for lunch with friends. Good place for Indian food especially southern India food.

Shabby entrance belies the warm and plush interior where the welcome is warm and hospitality generous. Members only. The food menu is not huge but big enough. I would recommend either the Haddock and chips or Haggis neeps and tatties. The whisky menu on the other hand contains more than can be consumed. The expert advice from the staff will help you make good choices. The Malt of the Moment is always worth a try.

Good bar for a pint .Football on tvs. Bar staff pleasant and attentive. Will revist when I am back in Glasgow

First visit to the restaurant and Happy to say we will be back the atmosphere was great as the place was busy, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Thanks again for a wonderful experience

They only do take out and service was abit slow, but to be fair it’s slow as they cook the food on the sport the ensuite the best temperature for the food before you take it home, the portions are quite big, I’m a heavy eater and I struggled to finish a fish and chips supper, This was also where I was introduced to deep fried mars bars, enjoy in moderation

We had German Döner, Chips and Cheese. It was delicious and was a very good portion.

Nice ambience relaxed but for price not the best Lobster bisque ok prawn cocktail ok but the lamb rack no very thin no taste yes you serve raw for best lol but it had no taste and too fatty maybe cheap lamb rack tasted better in Malaysia NZ lamb takes some Beating Welsh yes but this did not have the substance And not happy they put service charge on booking first Yes they ask when present bill and to shame you when with guest If was alone I would have told them to stuff it My god had better at the old berni inns

We have been here a few times and as usual the food was amazing. We had Dakos for starters, Beef Stifado and Soufitos which was beef medallions with a lemon and garlic sauce, oven baked potatoes and vegetables with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Excellent service and value for money .

Literally worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They’re cheating the system by serving off all orders as soon as they’re placed without handing them out to customers to make their numbers look better. As a result I waited 15 min for my wrap, when I eventually asked them, I got a snarky response and they gave me the wrap which had been sitting there all the time, but how would they know as they had already served it off ages ago?

My go to place when visiting Glasgow for decent price, healthy nutritionally rich food!

Steven was great! Quick service and with a smile! Brunch food lovely!

Nice atmosphere, great value bears and good selection of whisky as well.
