Very enjoyable and good service

Great pub! Lovely service and a great selection of cocktails.

Went last night with friends, first time there. Staff were amazing, atmosphere was good and the food was decent. I got Nachos which were a decent portion size however friends got Halloumi fries and the portion looked very small, although I recognise that these are more of a side dish than a main. Over all, it was a good night. Nice location too. Music was a wee bit loud and at times but generally ok. Recommended.

Great pub. But don't go here for a Guinness. It's definitely not their strong point

We stumbled across this place and were happy to get out of the rain to take advantage of their soup and sandwich deal for a late lunch. Great atmosphere, cruisy music, friendly staff and we loved the soup and sandwich. We also enjoyed gin n tonic and beers. Highly recommend👍

Looks good from the outside, but ultimately pretty poor. Beer choice average. Toilets an absolute disgrace.

Terrible attitude, said they weren't serving food past 7:30pm they missed out on around 400 gbp which we spend down the road.

Even though it was a Sunday and the bar was almost empty, we had a great time. The beer was cheap and well poured and the staff was extremely friendly - they even ordered deep fried mars bars for us to try out because I brought it up in conversation. An evening to remember 5/5

Five of us had a full Scottish breakfast. It was well cooked and presented well. There was plenty of it. The staff was very nice even putting up a couple of umbrellas as it started to rain as we where eating outside.

This is an established Merchant City bar which has just been taken over by new owners. On the plus side, the kitchen hours are much more regular than they were, but at the expense of a more limited menu. This makes perfect sense in the current climate. The food is still good and they have an excellent selection of drinks.

Watched the Scotland game with a wonderful crowd and lovely bar staff that could not be more welcoming. A brilliant evening 😀

The vibe is great, bartender was super helpful and friendly, and the cocktails are well done. We had the espresso martini and guastato spritz.

Decent bar in Merchant city. Good prices (compared to Edinburgh). Nice when large front windows are opened with a busy street outside. Also have outdoor seating. Friendly service.

Great place to grab a few pints

Went for lunch yesterday. It was freezing as all the doors fully opened but then closed the side door but still cold. Ordered a chicken burger which I had to send back. Unable to bite it as it was overcooked. Changed order to a beef burger to which I was asked did I want a fresh bun?? Considering the waiter picked the chicken burger out with his gingers to return to the kitchen of course I wanted a fresh bun! This was nice though had to eat after my partner had already finished his fish and chips by time it came. We got 2 drinks to compensate which was fair enough though left half as too cold to drink it! Staff were pleasant and helpful and apologetic but I won't b back.

Brilliant service: friendly and chilled staff. Came here for lunch at approx 11:30 on a Saturday morning and had a full breakfast which was fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We were the only one there at that time with my friend so we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks. It's also located in a convenient and nice area. The interior is cool and the atmosphere is cozy. There are some tables available outside as well (covered terrace.) Their prices are moderate so personally I consider both the drinks and food as good value for money. I can recommend the Bar91.

Went with a party of 14, bar was a bit cold, bit of a mix up with the pre ordered food but manager soon sorted it and gave a free drink. All had a good time.

The place was fine. Staff were a bit run off their feet with the sheer number of people which made ordering a drink a bit difficult but other than that things were fine. The kitchen had closed early, but the guys were cool enough to let us order a Domino's pizza and easy it as we were sitting outside 👍

Great atmosphere, friendly staff

Great location. Food lovely. Unfortunately we all had to eat out food with jackets and hats on (not the Xmas kind). They had the air conditioning on with the temp outside of 0 degrees. Would have been ok during the summer, but not mid December. Staff were apologetic but didn't turn it off.

First visit here. Great cocktails at fairly standard prices, a good selection of beer, whisky etc. I didn't have chance to try the Flea craft beers, so I'll need to make another trip.

I love this little bar in town, has all the atmosphere and feel of a local, without compromising on quality. Great value drinks & perfectly enjoyable fois menu. I make a point of visiting whenever I'm out for a drink in town now.

So bad nobody knows what they are doing prices are shocking trying to be up market bar but can't do the job wouldn't like to go when it's busy won't be back awful

My favourite bar in Glasgow. Every time I visit we head for Bar 91, order a pint of St Mungo and sit drinking it happy to be in one of the friendliest bars and cities in the world! Great food too and really well priced.

If you're wanting soft drinks, stick to bottles or cans because their draft mix is less than half the concentration it is supposed to be. Tasteless coloured water

Always will be one of fav city centre pubs, you need to try their Italian beers, go for the Belgian style one!

Poor service waited 1 hour for food, bacon sandwich come with no butter on bread and was provided with sachet butter which was melted. Also they don’t have any brown sauce

Been past bar 91 few times went for food at effes great food and great atmosphere when outside but only issue is with the bar 91. Music too loud and the boom boom music very inconsiderate of them and owners like this bring area down feel sorry for Indian restaurant upstairs

Yeah decent place for a drink, could do with a few more things on tap but staff were great and its a good place to grab a beer and chill out with friends in the city centre. The background noise is the right level so you can actually have a conversation which always works!

Great place. Was out and about in the merchant city and came across it. Lively and trendy place. Both food and drink can be had here. Staff very friendly and always happy to help.

Maybe we didn't get there at the right time. It's kind of a pub but we were there for some eating . The menu was limited and we expected very good food but that was not the case . Live cool dj mixing..

Mulleted barman steered me clear of Tennents Light. Offered me a taste before showing me the error of my ways. Absolute legend. I'll be back.

Music was far too loud manager or guy in charge was arrogant to say least overcharged for drinks and basically told to pay up and leave won't be back . I love merchant City but I will give this one a miss

Undercover of fun and friendship , I negiated a stellar deal and persuaded the chef to serve my soup in my Starbucks flask! It tasted vey nice thankQ.🙋

Decent range of beers...good servic

Good service, choice of beers was not too bad, could have done with a better choice of dark beers, my partner said that she enjoyed the (red)wine. On this visit my partner had a cocktail(espresso martini) which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service was as good as our last visit.

So pleased we came across Bar 91. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and food. Be sure and check out the specials board and if they have the chicken wings on,be sure to order! Will definitely be back.
