Brilliant food. Staff helpful. Loved the food. Fresh and full of flavour. Good choice. Great bar with some great larger not just run of the mill Good value. My wife had a cocktail and I had 2 pints. £50 bill. Great.

Food is excellent. Excellent selection of soft and alcohol drinks including American soft drinks. Service is very good.

Such a great atmosphere, stopped in for lunch, the express lunch for 12.95 was a great deal, had the corn side, with a buttermilk chicken sandwich that was enormous. The chicken was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The red velvet cake with some soft-serve vanilla ice cream was also great. You won't be disappointed.

Just had a quick drink but cocktail was very tasty and staff was great!

Shame because the food looks and smells amazing but the service was dire for say the least, left us sitting waiting on a table that I had booked for 20 mins but sat down 3 couples that came in after us while we still sat. Flabbergasted to be honest

This is probably my third time back to Thundercats. I must say this time was not my favourite. The Good: Food is very tasty. Drinks are good. Staff were lovely. The not so Good: We booked in advance and I was very disappointed with our seats. We were in the corner ant the end of the bar. Speaker behind us was unnecessarily loud to the point I couldn’t hear the people I was sat with. When 90% of the tables have food I expect to be able to talk to people comfortably.. It was also very hot in there. In addition I didn’t know this was a sister bar to Bucks Bar.

Wouldn't recommended to anyone really. I was pretty excited about trying the Italian beef sandwich after having this several times in Chicago but it was overly strong with salt and gravy. The beef slices were also too thick for what this is supposed to be. The Mexican deep pan pizza was also undercooked with too much tomato sauce and again with the overloading of salt. It's also advertised as 3 chillis spicy but it was really mild. The corn ribs were decent but a couple of them looked off/unfresh with some corns appearing black as they do when beginning to rot.

Dining at Thundercat was a highlight of my Glasgow visit! My boyfriend randomly stumbled across this spot online, and it completely blew away my expectations. The ambiance is so cool and eclectic, and all of the staff are so friendly. As Americans, we appreciated all of the American options for food and bev (nailed it by the way). I enjoyed the New York dog with crispy onions, and my boyfriend was in heaven with the buffalo chicken mac & cheese. The portions are HUGE but you get great value for the prices!! This spot is a hidden gem.

Always enjoy coming here, the food is great especially the pizza's.

HIGHLY OVERRATED PLACE Ordered the chicken waffle WITH mac & cheese and there was basically 0 chicken 3 little puny bits... it should be called mac and cheese waffle with chicken. Mac and cheese was dry and tasteless, no flavour, no cheese sauce, was basically dry tasteless pasta. No cheese sauce on mac & CHEESE - what??? There is an option for bacon cheese burger, ordered this which was VERY spicy - who makes a cheese burger spicy? Ridiculous If you do go the only decent thing on the menu is the pulled pork sandwich, otherwise AVOID this place.

Been wanting to try Thundercat for a while as had seen their deep dish pizza pies online. Went early afternoon, mid week so it was quiet - still a nice atmosphere and the service was friendly and fast. I liked the decor in the place, I imagine it can busy up in the evenings or weekends and would be quite lively. The food was brilliant - we got the tater tots, bbq beef brisket burnt ends, and the chorizo and black pudding pizza pie. Between the two of us, we were stuffed! Don’t let the pizza pie deceive you, it’s definitely a sharing one 😂 would recommend and would go back again 💯

I absolutely love this place and go with friends quite a lot however this was the first time I took my partner and unfortunately both of us are feeling incredibly unwell after the food, vomiting and such. The floor staff seemed slightly stressed today so I can hardly blame it on them because they were so nice and friendly so I'm sure it was just a mishap in the kitchen of some kind. Would still recommend this place just probably gonna go on a quieter day to avoid sickness.

Had a really great time here, and absolutely loved their deep dish pizza. Very much expecting to return the next time I'm in Glasgow. I'm originally from the US and love deep dish pizza but it's virtually nonexistent in the UK where I now live, and I miss it sorely, so I had to try this place when I heard about it from a friend. It did not disappoint. The pizza was amazing and made me very happy. The hard shakes were delicious too!

**coeliac friendly** **gluten free** Found this restaurant on a coeliac site for my date with my partner whom is coeliac. The server wasn’t just accommodating for our needs but was extremely happy about showing us the gluten free menu. Our food was excellent, I had a chilli hot dog, partner had a bacon smash burger, both had a cocktail and wings and salt and pepper chips. This is my 2nd time here. The service is amazing. The staff are very attentive to everyone. I had the thunderdog and tater tots Absolutely delicious and it's such a lovely atmosphere. Tables aren't crammed up against each other. I will be back for more

Great lively atmosphere, looked really cool. Seating area feels slightly cramped but still manageable. The BBQ pie pizza was packed and very delicious. We also had a spicey chicken style mac and cheese. Tasted good but was a bit too oily and sickly after a while. Favourite was the garlic butter fries, super crispy and tasted like garlic bread. Amazing staff super friendly and helpful. Had a really nice time would come again

We got the express lunch deal and it was soooo good! The mac and cheese is just top tier and my go to every visit even if I’m getting a different meal! 😍🐷 The girlies working always make the visit so nice and the cocktails are lush!

Food was mediocre, chips were cold.o there food looked nice enough. Despite that the staff were lovely and I'm sure great for teenagers. Would not recommend if you want to talk to people while you eat. £4 for a coke seems a little overpriced

Lovely bar in the center but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle that it's not too touristy. For lovers of spiciness like a server, it is a joy to see that if you order a dish marked with three chillies out of five, things burn with joy. It's not super-cheap, but the portions are quite large. With a sandwich or frankfurter and some potatoes, it's hard to leave there hungry.

I'm halfway through the biggest and best hawaiian pizza ive ever eaten and I haven't been happier. Except I'll be crying as soon as I get home because I'm so full up but can't stop eating, I'm making an absolute beast of myself but right now I don't care. Not until I'm laying on my sofa like some vast slug in a food coma will I properly evaluate my decision to keep eating this pizza! I can't guarantee I will stick by these words, but for now... I REGRET NOTHING! Go and eat here, it's mint!

I got the chicken buffalo mac and cheese. The pasta was overcooked, so it was really soft. It's a shame as the flavour is great. My sister got the Southern fried chicken burger, which was good.

5 of us walked into Thundercat hoping for a table and luckily we got one! The atmosphere is great! Busy and bustling with amazing decor. The food menu is great. Loads to choose from. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich - AMAZING! Our group also ordered various items including the Smashed Bacon cheeseburger, thunderdog and lots of sides. Everything was super tasty. Only small complaint I had that was the salt and chilli fries were luke warm. There was also quite a wait for the food. We had drank all our drinks before our food arrived, but we were so grateful to have a table that we didn’t mind this. It was after all, really busy. £100 for a table of 5 was very reasonable. Oh.. and you need to try the buffalo sauce - so good!

Great pub with good 80s atmosphere, and I love it. Great service the waitresses are very smiling and friendly ❤️ If you are in Glasgow don't miss this pub.

My family and I attended this restaurant for lunch. Staff were warm and friendly. A very busy venue, so much so unless you booked there is a very slim chance you can walk in! We ordered drinks which all came as ordered and the ladies enjoyed the cocktails. For eats we ordered a range of items, all came well presented, but not very warm, we prefer hot food not lukewarm! apart from that it was a pleasant experience but nothing special. If you like a basic menu then I am sure you will find something to eat, cost wise it was fairly average, £140 for drinks and food for 5 people.

- Took 30+ minutes to get loaded fries but seems it takes that long. But very unseasoned and charged more to ask for hot sauce (which again took 5 minutes to get) - Got the wrong drink - Poor mobile network and wifi doesn't work.

Nothing to wild or exciting with this American style restaurant. The mac and cheese was good, as we're the lasagna bites. After hearing people rav about the place it left me wondering why. With a little to much reliance on the bodies cravings, fat, salt and sugar, there's plenty of places like this that do the same. Definitely a subjective opinion as soooo many people love this place and this style of food. I have to admit the 99 ice cream for dessert is such a good idea. But you can see my disappointment with my cone being half the size of my mates.

Birthday lunch booked on the morning of the visit with a request that a cocktail be waiting on the birthday girl. Warm welcome and shown to a booth seat. Cocktail followed quickly thereafter- thanks guys! Cool menu with a range of really lovely things to eat. Best pretend that calories aren’t a thing- this menu is not for dieters! Pretty busy despite only being open for 30 mins (Sunday). Good spot for a hangover cure though. Nice selection of drinks and 40% off selected cocktails Sun-Thurs is a steal. Food- Chicken parm sandwich. Huge and enjoyable. Give it a go Bacon and cheese smash burger- another big bite and tasty. Fries with garlic and cheese- so, so… not the best portion or value for money. Tasted ok but not amazing. Deep pan classic pizza- good for sharing and very tasty. Sauce and dough were superb. Would get again! BBQ meat and Mac and cheese- Yummy! Good for sharing and the chicken, beef and pulled port were all really tasty Chicken tenders- really nice. Would prefer a crunchier coating but chicken was well cooked. The hot sauce could do with being spicier. Or, introduce something that will really get customers reaching for their beer. Very tasty sauce, but a place with such a cool name should have a much more challenging staple hot sauce. Service- really friendly team. Issues twice with Mac and Cheese order caused a big delay to getting this out and correct but server was really apologetic and gave us it (and birthday drinks) on the house. That was a really classy move. Overall- positive experience for all the family and would return. Thanks guys!

Ordered the waffle,chicken and mac. Chicken didn’t have a lot of flavour and the waffle was deep but filled me up fast. The mac was ok but not cheesy enough. Drinks were good especially cocktails.

You must try a pizza pie, although share it as it's a hefty piece of work. The fried pickles, caulie bits and corn ribs are awesome

Can’t believe I actually paid 18 quid for that excuse of a deep dish pizza. Coming from a New Yorker, probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Ordered the Spinach Pie. It was a thin, crunchy pie crust absolutely filled with just spinach. Awful. Expected the dough to be thicker but felt like a burnt cracker in my mouth. You would think it would also be much bigger (since it was £18), but it was quite a small circumference in terms of pizza sizes. Just because it was a bit tall does not mean you can charge that extortionate price, and just for me to not eat any of it. It’s a shame because the rest of the food didn’t look that bad. Tater tots were alright and burgers looked good. Although if I were in the mood for good pizza in Glasgow I’d much rather head to Civerinos or Paesanos. Servers didn’t smile or look like they wanted to be there.

One of the best pubs ive been to in Scotland! Jason our server was really attentive and kind. Their drinks were exceptional! Especially the bloody maisie and i think its also cool that everytime someone buys the bloody maisie they donate £1 which is so sweet of the pub! Their food was also good omg the chicken wings was buzzing!

Fast service, tasty good food. American diner style food but with a more "rock and roll" style. This was our 4th visit, and we will be returning again I'm sure!

So myself my wife and son went to Thundercat on Saturday for lunch... It was our first visit and definitely won't be out last! The food was fantastic and the service was great. Portion sizes were large. I highly recommend the 'thunderdog' wow it was epic. We all enjoyed our meals and were stuffed. The ambience inside was great and as i mentioned the service was great. I'd recommend you book as it is busy. We'll be back again soon.

Second time been there service was fast n friendly fantastic atmosphere

Brilliant, just brilliant. We got the lunch deal which is £12.95 for a main, side and soft drink. I had the chicken burger which was massive and very tasty (quite similar in size to Bucks which I believe is the same owners). For a side I had cauli wings with hot sauce (thunder sauce or something like that I think it was called). It was described as very hot and definitely had a nice bang while still being edible and enjoyable. Colleagues had the hot dog topped with macaroni and black pudding and the thing was an insane size. Great place and look forward to trying other menu options in future.

Was a bit disappointed by my experience here today, especially with seeing so many great reviews and videos. There isn't a kids menu. Not very fair on the wee ones or us parents having to buy things so the kids can eat. All the main portions are big so not Ideal. We were seated near the kitchen and had fruit flys constantly flying about us and our food which was off putting. Very awkward small round tables. Had two small round tables for 2 adults and a kid. It was uncomfortable to operate around while eating. Music is very loud and the lights are annoying. I didnt like or enjoy the pizzas. We ordered the pepperoni and the mexican pizzas. Just so much bread and barley any sauce at all! with tasteless cheese. The lack of sauce was a bit gutting. The meat was nice on the mexican one but I barley had any of it. Plenty of meat on the pepperoni one. I really don't understand the hype and the cost of these pizzas is absolutely ridiculous. I think it would be better if the base was more of a crust, pie type base instead of the thick bread base. The pizzas really need more sauce being thick deep based. It felt like I was just eating mostly really thick bread and cheese. The staff are fantastic. Really lovely and attentive throughout. The pink panther drink was really nice, though a bit pricey for what it is. Didn't taste the booze at all, tones of cream. The chicken wings are absolutely spot on and the tatertots are delicious. We had the chocolate cake and 99 cone for dessert which were both incredible and really reasonably priced too.

What you would expect from a diner style bar. Fiod is very decent, atmosphere is a 10/10 eith the service being very attentive even when hectic busy. Would recommend for lunch as well.

Myself and my Mum came here for some dinner and were delighted with the meat-free and gluten-free options. Frickeles are amazing 🥒 The staff were so good and made sure to keep us updated on how the food was coming along after they said a mistake had been made in the kitchen (this was promptly fixed and the item was deducted from our bill)

Went to thundercat after having looked at the menu a few times and liking what I seen. Ordered chicken loaded chips which came without the chicken. Server tried to rectify this but the chef just throw the chips into a skillet and topped with chicken which in turn burnt the chips to a cinder. The server took the price of the chips of the bill which helped the matter. Pizza was good but maybe a little too much pineapple, coleslaw was good. Server tried her best to help a bad experience

It's fair to say Thundercat exceeded expectations. I had fried chicken and Mac 'n' cheese waffle, which consisted of beautifully tender chicken with a crispy coating, a pillowy waffle, and creamy Mac. We agreed tater tots with garlic and herb butter, which pleasingly drowned the crispy tots. The staff were so chilled and well trained. It's 40% off cocktails Sun-Thurs and these were well made. Excellent value for money all round

Not my kind of place. The children wanted to go there. American poor quality food. Staff lovely, service good. In my opinion food awful. My children love it, I hate it.

Absolutely incredible place. Food was out of this world and very reasonably priced for a curry centre eatery. If you like 'dirty' food this is the place. I had a chicken burger with cheese and pepperoni topping and it was huge. Also have a drinks menu of £3 drinks including Budweiser. Get yourself booked in!

1st time visiting- will definitely be back- food was amazing, staff attentive and were great as they realised the used non Gluten Free in the chilli but kept us informed when they made another and deducted the cost of the chilli from the bill due to the wait. Fair play and thank you. 😊

The food is delicious. I would definitely recommend the Hot Texan Chilli. Will definitely return to sample more of the menu. Staff are great too. All in all a great place to visit.

Food was good, very filling. Comfortable inside once sat, easy to chill out. Went at lunch, popular with guys (and anyone who else that likes a burger). My Mac and cheese wasn’t great but the service was quick and helpful.

Myself and my team went here for a meeting and food, this was my first time trying pizza pie and I loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were so kind and polite. Michael also got us a round as he supports my cause, thanks again Michael.

Excellent Gluten free option. Thundercat called in advance to confirm the steps they take when preparing the food. There is a separate menu with excellent options.

Had been looking for somewhere to eat while in Glasgow. Saw a sign for Thundercat. Realised they did gluten free food so thought we would give them a try. Slight mix up with my sister's meal (She is celiac) they realised and sorted very quickly. Food was really good and decent sized portions for a reasonable price.

Incredible place for a girls meet up - food servings are huge, delicious and the deals are amazing on cocktails. Be aware of the Thundercat sauce though - took my sister's face off 😂 Staff are great, lots of options for Gluten Free as menu is huge and they also moved us due to requesting a lower seat due to back pain so can't thank them enough! Have been back several times

This my first time visiting thundercats I hadn’t even heard of it. The portions were huge which is absolutely not a bad thing ( you’ll maybe not finish but you’ll definitely never leave hungry) we were served by Ella who was so kind patient and knowledgeable about the menu. If it’s your first time aswell and your maybe a little nervous with new places as much as all the staff seemed great I’d recommend maybe asking for her as she definitely made an already great experience that little bit better.

It was supposed to be 5 stars but removing Munchie Box for deliveries is just criminal and one of em has to be taken away.

This place is out of this world, absolutely fillled me up by the time I was finished, so many different options to choose from m, I will be back one day soon, My friend even got a doggy bag home with the left overs

Place is seriously over rated due to social media. Been twice and twice deep pan pizza was undercooked and cold in bits. Was so excited to try this place. First visit was disappointed but thought let’s try it again second visit the pizza was worse than first visit. Between cold and undercooked food to being charge for items that was not ordered. Massive amounts of food being left on plates and not being asked by server was everything ok?. Would not return.

Thundercat was amazing. The food portions were generous and the vibe was nice. Would recommend going on a quieter night as the service was slow.
