Not been for long time but was great food service definitely be back

Good, homestyle food at a reasonable price, around £19 for a three course lunch.

The staff were so helpful and friendly - food was amazing too and well priced

I took my family on Friday for an Easter meal having booked in person a few days before only to be told on arrival that the legendary 2 for1.didnt apply on a bank holiday. Surely this should have been advised when booking. Money is tight so it was a good way to have a meal with all the family at a reasonable cost. Very disappointed and it almost double our budget which we really can’t afford. Hope you do

Mothers Day treat. Busy service did not detract from an overall enjoyable visit. We'll priced and good value.

The reason for this review is I was really disappointed as we were asked to leave 1.half hours later we didn't have time to have a desert we were told people were waiting on our table but there wasn't anyone waiting and there were people still sitting who were in before us. I know it was mother's day but 1. Half hours. I can say the food was amazing.

In for dinner. Service excellent from Courtney. Mrs Sceeeb and I both had cheeseburgers, which if could be faulted it would be too meaty. But. The haggis, peppercorn loaded chips win the Best Loaded Chips in the Universe award. For this Universe or any parallel quantum universe. Australians fly around the world to enjoy. Reasonable prices unless you hit the bevvy In for an afternoon drink. Still a fine bar - interesting customers.

Have visited other restaurants in the group, with good food, staff and pleasant surroundings? The Croft was not a pleasant experience, at all. Surroundings had ripped wallpaper, torn, ripped carpets and foodstuffs on the carpet. Main course was inedible. The staff were the only saving grace.

Was croft day put order food waiting long time 615pm 645pm main long time watt what was worse deserve taken uptwo 740pm come tho made me late somewhere be 730pm not happy not sorry for watt ot 😐 discounts food was very good 😀 😊 tho

Staff was great although slow but great in the end

Enjoyed my lunch. The service was great - very friendly etc. Food was tasty but was disappointed in the size of the portion of my fajitas as MUCH smaller than last time. Realise that ingredients are now more expensive but still feel rather dissatisfied. However, I will be back for lunch soon!

Visit the Croft often..but every time I have fish …breaded or battered it’s disappointing…didn’t like to complain at the time….hate to complain….

When I come through to see my wee sister I always pop in for a drink and I have been in many time's with my nephew over the year's the staff and the punters are friendly and there is always football on can't wait to be back 🍻🍻

I was actually in the bar downstairs, which is an experience I will be in no hurry to repeat. I have always loved the restaurant upstairs though.

Me and my husband go get steak pie is so good then pop through to the bar and have a great night the bar staff are so friendly feel so comfortable all different ages everybody is really friendly love it

Had a great time at the restaurant, and there were plenty of staff to cater with our needs. Food was excellent, and of course, the service was also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to join friends for a meal.

I opted for Chicken Enchiladas, portion size was good, however I found them a tad dry. Apple crumble was divine! Won't stop me coming back will just pick a different main.

Great meals today 3 x Steak Pie and 1 x Macaroni, onion rings, 4 deserts, 4 drinks for under £67.

Not impressed with the state of the place the seats are stained and dirty My husband had fish and chips very small piece of fish I had steak pie with boiled potatoes and they were dry and hard the peas and carrots were cold some bits of the pastry were hard one thing for sure I won’t be back have been going to this place for years but the standards have really dropped could be doing with getting painted and cleaned up.

This place is one well oiled machine! It was completely full, both bar and restaurant, yet staff handled it like the experts they are. They worked as a team and didn't miss a beat. The food was also excellent, flavorful, and well prepared. We loved the atmosphere also, especially in the pub. Seemed like mostly locals were coming in for a drink or dinner. Thank you for our last dinner in Scotland! We have enjoyed wonderful hospitality throughout our time here and this was icing on the cake. Cheers!

We have visited the Croft in several occasions, every time, we have eaten there, the food has been of a good standard & the service has been excellent. All staff have been polite & happy. I would recommend the Croft for a family get together or a casual meal for friends

Went out for a meal with my family, food was delicious as always, great place for dinner! The Croft Salad was huge and packed with flavour, and the raspberry cheesecake was delicious, there's a reason I frequent this place! EDIT: Recently revisited, and it was just as good as last time!

Absolutely fantastic night on Friday 22 September both my friends had birthdays and the staff seriously bent over backwards to make it a great night.

Bank Holiday weekend ! Just had a bit of a wait for the food ! And then had another wait for the whole table to eat altogether! BUT well worth the wait! Food amazing very good value for money

Recently went to visit the Croft as it was all over social media about there new menu. Wasn’t overly impressed. Arrived about 610 we had a reservation. Seated very quickly and given menus. Waitress came after about 10 mins and asked if we would like a drink and said we were ready to order. She advised there was no steak , and a few other items that were not available to order. I had the tikka masala and it wasn’t very nice very bland no seasoning very disappointing. My friend had ordered the chicken noddles after asking was it sweet she was advised NO this was disgusting. They kindly asked if we would like it boxed as they could see my friend didn’t touch it. Just want impressed at all and to top it off they had actually forgotten about our meals we waited over an hour to get the food. Overall wasn’t very impressed. I used to love the Croft but think the service and food is going downhill.

Brilliantly cooked, tasty food. Reasonably priced and in a place I'd only been in a few times for a beer. At my age, I found the act of raising my voice to speak, uncomfortable but that's not the Crofts fault and most certainly won't stop me going more often (seeing as they do 2 for 1 on certain meals, Tues - Thu) Try it..you'll thank me later 👍

Ordered a fish and chips a got a sardin never had such a small fish served to me and the steak pie was like a childs portion we have been going to the croft for years since this new management has taken over we have be very disappointed every time. fwent to the Freddie tribute night. 30 quid per person included 3 course meal and cabaret. the tribute act was actually a great singer and the food was very good. the selection of courses was orerry varied and u would find something to eat no bother. Great value for money. the dance space is pretty small in venue if u like a boogie. toilets are well maintained and very clean. Nice pub. would recommend tribute night

Visited Sunday afternoon- table for 10- clean plates all round!! Great food options for all. Roast dinners, fajitas, steak pie , pizza, - all delicious. Very child friendly. Nice to see regular meals on kids' menu. Generous portions and really friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value.

Brilliant staff, lovely venue and the afternoon tea was perfect.

Was in with the wife for lunch and it was fantastic as allways been here many a time and the food and service is fantastic the steak pie is unreal we both had it its a must if you plan to eat in the southside of Glasgow tried many other dishes but it has to be the steak pie service with a smile.

We rocked up for our booking but there was no record of it being made. Even though it was busy, they accommodated us (a table of 6) within about 5 minutes. I have no details of the cost as my host paid but we ordered 2 sharer plates (more than enough for 6 people) and I had the steak pie which was superb.

I live in Ireland always look forward to the steak pie when im over in Glasgow. The best ever.

Lovely little restaurant and pub in the southside, with very tasty food, and offers during the week. I like the familiar feeling of it.

Lovely cream tea enjoyed by all the family. Left overs were boxed up to take home. No problem, staff very efficient and friendly. Lots of choice and plenty of food. Beautiful cream tea had by all. Thanks to The Croft.

As a coeliac the gluten free menu is lovely lots of options and food is amazing also good choice of desserts

Used to love the croft, new owners have taking over, bring back the old owners!!, food has went downhill is all I'm saying and I won't be back.

We had a lovely meal , both of us had the Fish and Chips , I had Apple Crumble my wife had Snowball Sundae , the service was excellent, reasonable price , and the food was delicious, we will definitely return.

Staff very nice, decor nice but food not value for money. Cod portion was small, potatoes nice enough but small portion. £15- Friends salad (veggie so no meat) all lettuce a wee bit of tomato onion and cheese (OK would have had slice meat) but for £12.50 not good value. Steak pie nice again portion nice all in all think twice about going back.

Tue and Thur it's 2 meals for 1 good deal it was really busy therefore a wait for food to arrive not too bad as pub food goes .

Went to Croft for Mothers Day Dinner, a wee treat for my Mum. Absolutely outstanding, warm and welcoming atmosphere, amazing food, and top class service from staff. Was back down recently to take my brother out for birthday meal and drinks. Honestly can't wait to go back again, already planning another trip down.Well done everyone and keep up the great work.

Husband and I went for a meal to celebrate my birthday. Food was fabulous and staff very attentive.

Smashing local bar restaurant. Knew the homemade steak pie was great and the classic fishn chips. Tried the fajitas- spot on. Good clean gassy pint. Just very well run and lovely staff.

Amazing....... halloumi with chutney was devine.. stroganoff so tasty .....and the service fab, deffo return, can't wait to do so , thank you team croft

Been to a few family dinners here (in the restaurant side of the business). Excellent staff and atmosphere, would definitely recommend, cannot vouch for the food as there are no gluten-free vegan options that would work for me. Overall; great for a family dinner, the staff are so nice and they know what they're doing 👍
