Connolly's Irish Bar in Glasgow City

Visited it on Paddy's day. Great friendly atmosphere.

Stank of rancid fish, was freezing cold. Horrible bar.

Great bar and excellent Guinness.

Had a live band playing and a good atmosphere...

Good craic and decent pints. Friendly crowd and staff. Crowded on match days but that's only for a few hours.

Don't do food, but if they did An excellent warm and friendly pub in all aspects. xxxxx

Popped in after a magic Mike tribute in arta as they had live music on this guy gets the one star but OMG do not order a drink near closing time the staff will LITERALLY RIP IT RIGHT OUT OF YOUR HAND no exaggeration he actually grabbed it no apology like any other bar sorry we are closing drink up please the Irish guy just grabbed it I get staff want to go home and had he said sorry u need to drink up like all bars do then fair enough but we had just bought the drink they shouldn’t serve anyone if they don’t have time to finish it and certainly shouldn’t grab a drink out your hand I would never go in this bar again this was one member of staff who is in the wrong job

Large irish bar with plenty of tvs for sport no sound though and unfortunately priced like irish bars.

Place was empty but the Cork IPA was delicious

Great pub with live music on a Sunday night by Liam McGrandle ! The staff are friendly especially Gary the doorman who goes the extra mile to make you feel very welcome! Also, the atmosphere is great with everyone singing along with Liam. I’ve never tried the food but it’s on my list 😊

Proud Irish bar with loads of sports screens, live music and great beer. It’s large but does get really busy when the football is on. One of the best Irish bars in the city

Place was rammed but service was very good and didn't have to wait to get served. Brilliant atmosphere watching the rugby.

My husband and I popped into this bar after we had been out shopping. It was very quiet but we weren't intending to stay long. 4 stars is for the 2 girls on the bar who were so delightful and kept the atmosphere going for the small number who were in the pub. They were a joy, so big thanks to Kia and Kira who were fab.

The best Irish pub in town.. a diamond in Merchant city, staff so lovely and kind.... a big selection of drinks... I'm delighted every time I go there.

The best place to enjoy your day expecially weekends. There is always live band to give you the best songs you can ever get. Big screens to watch all types of sport and great events. A great place to meet great staff, spend your great time and meet great and nice people. Love this place.

Pub en la calle principal. Dos pintas 9,60 libras. Hay música en directo y el ambiente bastante bueno. Gente de todo tipo. Lo aconsejó si tienes más de 40 ya que aunque hay público de todas las edades la media es esa edad. Si buscas un. Buen Pub en Glasgow este puede ser uno de tu lista sin duda. Volveria

Was busy pub, Irish singer on. Felt slightly uneasy as was singing Rebel republican songs so being English perhaps was a mistake going in there.

Great music, lovely place BUT one of the waitresses, Kaya (if I spell it correctly), took our drink twice without the glass being empty which was a bummer. I have to admit, that the supervisor apologised and offer a replacement but we were ready to go by that time!

I don't even want to rate this 1 star, the owner is extremely racist, didn't let us in even though it was far within the working hours but let others in right in front of us, it's not something to be tolerated at any cost. Please report the owner for this.

Connollys is a top class authentic irish establishment. I went there to watch the champions league and was greeted with an irish band .cheerfull staff and irish ales and snacks.deffinetly some where i will be returning +++

Excellent bar, all safe distancing, track and trace in place. Hats off to the staff.

No distancing whatsoever in this place. The covid infections are rising rapidly again but they are acting like there is no pandemic going on. Edit: so you are admitting that there's barely any distancing going on? Your "just stay home" comment makes no sense because if your establishment causes an outbreak, all Glasgow bars and restaurants might have to close. We might have to all go in full lockdown again. Distancing is not to protect yourself, it is to protect others. You make it very clear here that you don't care about anyone.
