Usamos aquí durante un año la comida siempre fue bastante buena, así que no hay quejas allí, pero el costo ahora es demasiado caro, así que ahora use una alternativa que es mucho más barato y la comida igual de buena
We stumbled into here by accident. We are from Philly, USA, and were curious by its name. We had wanted to try fried haggis and a fried Mars bar before we left Scotland, so we figured why not here. The man working was so hospitable and wonderful to us. They didn't sell fried Mars bars, so he told us to run across the street to the supermarket to grab one and he'd fry it for us. While we waited for our food, he gave our toddler chips to eat and chatted about his family. The fried haggis and Mars bar we're still raving about. We really enjoyed our spur of the moment stop here.
Had to wit 45min for food, 30min for the drinks, then went to pick them up ourselves as they were sitting on the bar, getting warm and flat.
Cheap, but not that cheerful.
I won a prize at a charity afternoon which was lunch for 2 with a bottle of prosecco. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Good food, lovely prosecco, cheerful atmosphere with rugby on in background. Thanks Linen 1906, we will be back! Would 100% recommend.
Was going in to get a breakfast and was a bit late for it. So I got a 6inch sub with some sort of sausage and extra cheese on it. No fresh orange juice, so had to make do with just the sub. £5.49 for just a small sandwich absolutely shocking 😲.
Oh how I miss Spice Routes. This Indian food is SUPERIOR. I’m from America but I lived in Glasgow for 3 years and let me tell you… I ordered spice routes WEEKLY. Cannot go wrong with the Vindaloo or Tikka Masala. I think of this food ALL the time. Will definitely be my first food stop when I get to visit Glasgow again ❤️❤️❤️❤️
No longer the champion of fast food, you now have to wait for orders, behind all the collection and delivery orders, to then recive a cold meal, with missing item's, unfortunately, it seems to be that the customer that is priority, isn't the one standing inside the premises.
Pathetic staff, very rude and unwelcoming. Just because of their behaviour we left the place without bothering to order. It was the worst experience which spoiled our mood.
On being served a pot of tea with a saucer substituted for a lid, my
bemusement turned to concern when the saucer slipped off onto the floor and smashed. The waiter, who I later learned was the manager, refused to listen to my concerns, told me the saucer would not have smashed if I had held on to it properly, asked me to pass him the broken pieces lying at my feet and walked away leaving me to finish my tea from an open teapot. I later attempted to speak to the manager again to point out the use of a saucer not only gives insufficient insulation but, as was clearly demonstrated, is a safety hazard. Once again he refused to listen and talked over me; he said he’d had enough of my complaints, that I was antagonising him and proceeded to order my friend and I out of the restaurant. When I asked him the name of the owner, I was told to find out for myself. I can only say I was appalled by this man’s hostile, aggressive manner coupled with his abject rudeness. Once a regular customer, I will never return.
