Halal Kebab House in Glasgow City

Sorry but the naan was thick and not cooked properly plus yogurt dip was just white water. I have never tasted rubbish like this before.

I wanted to order but looking at the reviews, if they cannot respect customers, they are a red flag

Completely the rubbish food rude customer service specially old man nonsense person don’t even know how to communicate

Incompetent, rude and BAD FOOD. I would rate negative if I could. Called them to make my order and they forgot to make it then I asked for 2 burger meals and didn't even get a drink by the way 2 burger meals were 13 pounds !! Which you can spend somewhere else and get alot better food.

Delicious, fresh and mouthwatering food as always...

Went in to buy vegetables pakora and when started to eat they were not cooked properly. They were cold and gooey from inside. Me and my partner had severe stomach pain after a few hours. Not a good experience going to this takeaway. This was our first time buying from this takeaway two nights ago and it was a very bad experience. Will never buy from here again.

Halal kebab house the old dogs of the takeaway business. Been there for over 30 years, so one could say they have been pretty consistent over the years. Ordered 12 inch spicy chicken pizza and portion of chips afew weeks ago, chicken pizza was okay bit bland to be fair lack of chillies sauce was decent and chips were just standard. Being the old dogs, they have definitely hiked the prices and are taking advantage as they know customers that are loyal will still go there. Paid around 17-18 pounds. A relative of mine went back there a couple months ago ordered a portion of cheese and chips from them, complaining the portion size hasn't changed in the silver tinfoil tray with a few chips and sprinkled abit of cheese around 6 quid, absolutely horrific. The management need to look at thier prices and stop taking the piss. (Very slim chance of that happening)

The worst food place in Glasgow

We’vecoming here for over 30 years and it’s still the same top quality stuff all prepared freshly while you wait. The Reshmi Kebab is exquisite and the King is out of this world but everything I’ve ever tried here has been superior. Keep it up Troops 👍👍👏👏

Been going here since cheese hips were £2.50. Quality has never dropped , but unfortunately prices have gone up which is normal.i suppose these days. The smash burgers are really good because they are made fresh and this is now my go to Donner is a hit or miss depending when you go and if it's fresh A couple bad online reviews from some.tiktokera won't stop the loyalty this place has with its customers. Cheese chips and red sauce still tasty the same it did 20yrs again

Not the best food me and my family have had whilst in Glasgow. They ignored me and my daughter and served the men walking in then we ordered our food and felt uncomfortable waiting so we sat in the car for 20 mins then collected the food. Pizza was ok nothing fancy avoid the Donner stir fry it's oily and no taste ruins the Donner we threw it away which I don't like to do with food but it really wasn't consumable. The okra curry was lovely with the naan and the chicken tandoori legs were ok a bit dry but maybe because they are precooked and just microwaved when you order. They don't do garlic bread so we ordered mozzarella sticks which were ok. All in all I would recommend the curry not the rest of the food. Thought it was very pricey too for the quality and amount of food we purchased.

Donner chips n cheese definitely good with the sauce. Pizza taste very bland. Quite pricey for the 3 stars tbh. As my rest of views im always honest with my opinion. Guy packed the stuff well and knew what he was doing. Don't expect to be greeted happily unless Ur a female👍

Always a go to place for lunch when we visit Glasgow, great variety of food and a great menu with tasty food. Really good place!

Chips cheese £5.50. Small portion, cheese made the chips cold in 1 minute. Chips cheese in the foil container for £5.50 is daily light robbery. Their is like on 10 bits of chips. Need to give better portion size’s.

Very bad customer service. Been going for years and they don't care about customers anymore. Pizza was made rock solid and crunchy asked for it to be made again and then it was undercooked and raw. Staff are so intimidating and not interested. Avoid go to yadgars instead!

New sign outside and completely refurbished inside too. Looks great. Same owners and the food is as delicious as it has always been. I make a point to pop in each time when in Pollokshields. Recommend the Halal Kebab House Special pizza with extra chillies.

This is my favourite spot for food in Albert drive. 10/10 every time. Well worth a visit.

Been eating here since the 80s, Good food, mainly get pizzas, donner kebab and or samosa salads, all tasty, the folks working here are nice enough, they just don’t take contactless which for a person who doesn’t carry cash means I’m having to make a trip to the atm, hence 4 stars,

Service was awful , we had cheese burgers and cheeps and burger was cold, cheese wasn’t melted, cheeps was cold too and without salt and vinegar although we asked them to put but they didn’t care and the taste was nasty! Never back again!

Food was ok but service was not good. I went there with my parents and we ordered nan and curry. We were given only 1 plate. We asked for more plates and were given just 1 more plate. We told them we needed 3 plates in total and they said we don't have any more plates so 2 of us had to share a plate. Surely you should have more than 2 plates if you're offering an eat in service.

Me and my sister in law have been coming here for almost 10 years and every single time the food has been absolutely incredible! Staff are all lovely and we are always made to feel welcome, can't wait to be back soon.

I ordered the donner and chips and was surprised at the price for what I got... the portion was small but tasted average and I have been to takeaways who have offered the same thing for the same price but with the quantity being more. I loves the sauce on the donner and so did my little one and I have tried worse donner kebabs in the past but this one was a pleasant surprise as I've paid this takeaway a visit after ages so forgot what the food was like.

Went in because there's been a fire locally and the police cornered off all the shops,no entry!!!so l wouldn't use this place otherwise,First time l got donner and chips with tomatoes on top,the tomatoes were off,next time the donner meat was like rubber and again the tomatoes were off,went in this time and told them of the last two experiences,their response was,TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! If this place can't even cook donner meat and replace rotten tomatoes,l dread to think what the rest of there stuff is like,the staff are cheeky with an attitude and arrogant!!!! I'd AVOID AVOID AVOID this place like the plague,because thats what you'll probably get eating their old rotten so called food,seriously A V O I D ! ! !

Great chicken shwarma, chicken tikka made in front of you on skewers and a decent variety of curries available. Fresh nan bread also made while you wait. 3 or 4 tables are there for eating in as well as take away is promptly made to order. Also, orders can be placed over the phone for collection. Not too sure whether they deliver or not.

Capsicum needlessly added to my Lamb Karahi, spoils every Curry. Chilli and Coriander Naan, Rogni style, very good.

Wow the portions you get for the price and the quality of the food is very very good. Got a mixed grilled, which was out of this world. Big garlic nan with 4pcs of lamb shish, 4pcs of chicken tikka, 1lamb seek 1chicken seek lamb donner chicken donner with healty amount of salad n sauce all for an incredible £12.99 . It was massive . There chips cheese donner are by far the best in glasgow, couldnt praise this place more. The lads and staff are chatty and make you feel more than welcome. 100% going to be my regular from now on ...

The person who served me had an attitude, was rather rude and falsely advertised what he sold, then went back on his own word without an apology. The 'chicken' wraps we bought to eat were quite clearly filled with pizza topping which all fell out whilst eating. Very unprofessional service. I would NOT recommend eating here.

Really good customer service, they used proper cheese not processed. The chicken Donner was good and the chilli was sweet nice~. Lamb burger had too many hard bits in it (maybe try a different suppliers). They didn’t do chicken breast which was unusually. Recommend changing suppliers of food. Plenty of places to sit down and car parking space. Price where average.

Ordered chicken curry with nans and was stunned by how delicious it was. It came with salad and chilli sauce and it was just amazing. I have had chicken curry from different places in Glasgow, but this was by far one of my favourite. Keep up the good work
