Wagamama - Silverburn in Glasgow City

I often visit Wagamamas silverburn & every time the staff are always so friendly and attentive especially adel he always goes above and beyond to make it a great dinner spot for me & friends , highly recommend

I give order for no spicy food but I get spicy food it’s really bad they don’t care what you want and they just bring what they have .for service Sana she was such a nice girl how just bring over food’s (other person took our order and we told her I don’t want to eat spicy food) Atmosphere is no bad

First time trying Wagamama and really enjoyed their Ramen. Would recommend it to anyone who loves a good ramen on a rainy day. As the restaurant was super busy, we had to wait couple of minutes to order but the staffs were friendly enough. 8/10!!

First class food & service as always. Always greeted by friendly and smiling staff. Unfortunately upon our visit on our last visit in September my partner had a medical episode. However, I can not thank Brian enough for noticing what was taking place and for his quick reaction to the unfortunate predicament we found ourselves in. Also, thank you to Adel who gave immediate assistance alongside Brian. Sanna, Jane (GM), another member of staff who was on hand to call an ambulance and a member of the security team also came to our aid very quickly. Fortunately, my partner recovered and was well enough to leave the restaurant without the need for further assistance. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the staff who were on shift this day. As customers of this branch of Wagamama's we have never been disappointed with our food and the service when we've visited for lunch. On this day the staff went above and beyond. If there was an Employee of the Month award then Brian & Adel would get my vote. We look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.

1st ever visit to a Wagamama. Id say 7 out of 10. Friendly staff that explained the ordering process. Crispy duck tepanyaki - nice and tasty but could do with some more noodles which are a cheap product Chilli chicken ramen bowl - nice large bowl of fragrant broth. Steamed chicken breast. Noodles. Beansprouts. Would have liked pak choi and spring onions. Its a fine balance between too much broth and just enough.

Loved the food staff were nice could do with a little more option on the menu but wouldn't put me off coming back again even if I had the same thing every time always busy but usually fnr getting a table not sure if you can book as I have always just walked in ...

I was surprised by both the food and the service I had. The staff always proved to be attentive to customer care by creating and improving the ordered dish. But also pay attention to the cleanliness of the table and chair. Excellent work!!

My wife and I had been looking forward to our evening meal at Wagamama Silverburn all day and we were not disappointed. Delicious as always. Full of flavour and beautifully fresh ingredients. The service was excellent too, with a special mention to Adel and Jamie who were so attentive, friendly and helpful. First class dining experience !

I think this is a decent chain Asian restaurant but I don’t think it stands up to many of the other independent Asian restaurants around Glasgow. I had the ramen and while it was good it wasn’t as flavourful as many places and had a lot of broth in comparison to the fillings. And it is also expensive even compared to the independent restaurant. Still i think it’s a great option if you are not picky as it still tastes great and it’s easy to find as there are many all over Scotland

Gave me the wrong curry too hot to eat

First visit to this Wagamama’s, we were served quickly by the friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and handy for us just popping off the motorway for a quick bite and look round the shops. Food was delicious! my husband and I chose a few different things off the menu as if our own we buffet! Ideal!

Wagamam food is consistently tasty, nourishing and satisfying. Though I tend to stick to one or two mains, the starters change every now and then and there is a good selection. Staff are always friendly and efficient, but on our last visit our server lifted the experience. Their timing was impeccable. It wasn't that busy so they obviously could see when we were ready to order, finished eating and so on, and attended to us diligently without pressure. This person actually had amazing people skills and was able to read our group so well. They made us all feel very welcome and quickly picked up on our son's foodie inclinations, and I could tell he really enjoyed their 'food' chat. I'd commend them for their smartness to the Silverburn restaurant manager if I could, but I reckon they already know who I mean.

We got served today by Pri-yal and we immediately felt extremely welcomed and knew that we were in the hands of an understanding, helpful waitress. She made great conversation and offered lots of information on meals due to dietary requirements. Service was speedy and almost all of the food came out around the same minute! The katsu, side and ramen were both very hot and freshly served, the salad in the katsu was also very refreshing. I’d definitely come here again for the nice chat with the friendly staff and scrumptious food.

Just arrived at this Wagamamas and the customer service was alright to begin with, we ordered our drinks and they took 10 minutes to arrive, no one came to take our order as we sat for a remaining 20 minutes before paying for our drinks and leaving. Staff around us weren’t doing much and one member was standing scrolling through his phone. I’m disappointed as I come here quite regularly but this will be the last time I do. The restaurant wasn’t busy and staff were obviously not in a hurry so there is no excuse.

My wife and I visit on a regular basis and every time we have the best experience. The staff are so understanding of our needs, we could not ask for a better level of service. They are so kind and the food is always exceptional. If you show them some kindness, they will look after you back. Amazing team, thank you as always xx

My first ever visit to Wagamama’s and it did not disappoint. We had Chino as our server who was very knowledgeable and helpful about what to order for our dietary requirements. Food service was very quick and tasted great. 10/10 would recommend this branch.

I really like this Wagamama as the food is always fresh and the staff are friendly. My mum was able to bring in her mobility scooter and find a seat that’s movable. That I suppose is my one gripe with all of Wagamama is that their chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and do not move as are bolted to the floor. So for bigger people this can be really off putting coming here to eat. However, my mum was happy because we found a stool at the end of a row that wasn’t bolted. Will definitely come back. Food came in a good amount of time and was fresh and tasty as always. Prices of the noodles is a bit ridiculous imo - £18 for a dish of noodles isn’t great BUT what can you do 😅

9 of use visited for our Granddaughters 15 birthday. The food was great , we had a variety of food from right across the menu. One negative is the bench seating which is very uncomfortable if you’re getting on in years. When we were ordering , the guy taking the order asked if we wanted some water for the table and two bottles arrived. It was only when we got the bill that we realised that we had been charged £5 for each bottle. We felt cheated.

£3.50 for a little bottle of coke, I will not be back..

Extremely friendly and attentive staff who are always happy to assist customers! You will always be met with an enthusiastic smile at this Wagamamas. Alongside this, there is an amazing menu with plenty of variety, I highly recommend the gyozas and ramen, or squid for some tangy fun. Great food spot for friends, couples, families or the solo muncher at a comparatively inexpensive price.

Haven’t been for about ten years due to the lack of beef or chicken with any of the meals and I’m afraid it hasn’t changed. £15 for effectively….a bowl of rice and some vegetables with less that quarter of a chicken breast chopped up and put at the side. Meals came one at a time with a few minutes in between each. My daughter had chicken ramen which had the aroma of feet and the chicken was incredibly dry. Went today to see if it had changed for the better…it hasn’t. Don’t waste your time or money.

My husband and I are practically at Wagamama’s Silverburn on a weekly occurrence at the moment, as it is truly our favourite place. The food is always high quality and the staff have excellent customer service. I have to give a special shout out to Hassib - he always has a friendly demeanour and is always genuinely pleased to see you. We will no doubt see you all next week (and we left a cash tip on the table!)

Had a lovely meal with my family earlier on this sunny Easter bank holiday. Food was on point (as per usual), whilst the service from Nikan was brilliant!

Greeted by Taylor a very nice and polite gentleman. Very experienced knowledge with everything on the menu he also spoke from his experience of what he enjoyed and he did have a good choice to recommend. I would like to thank him and say he is a pleasure and a great credit to wagamama.

Does what it says in the tin. Good food although it looks like they are passing on the cost of living times. Atmosphere bland as the outlet is in a mall and open to passers by and dinners in adjoining restaurants.

Wasn't happy with the food.we were a party of seven starters chilli squid was cold and very dry.main course was cold and very disappointing. Staff were trying but the place was so disorganised. Won't be back

The new docor makes the athmosphere a lot better now. The staff was exeptional, as well as the food. Tried the new menu item (hot pot) which was mindblowing.

Truly awful. Maybe ok if you don’t have much experience of Asian food, but for those who do, avoid like the plague. Utterly bland and tasteless, I could cook better and that’s saying something. I should end on a positive note; the toilets were nice and clean.

We ordered 2x beef ramen and noodles were unfortunately overcooked and all veg very soggy including coriander. Broth was also disappointing and bit tasteless. We ate in other Wagamamas before and everything was fine however this time the order massively disappointed us. We also ordered bang bang cauliflower and also was overcooked. My daughter had the usual fish balls with rice and katsu sauce however after one bite she didn’t want to eat anymore as she didnt like it (also wrong sauce came with the order) Very very disappointed and we spend just over £50 for this food for 3 people (one kid meal, two adults) I should add it was a takeout but we live not even 5 min away from restaurant so the sogginess wasn’t due to travel time.

I have visited Wagamama @ Silverburn today with my friend. The food was excellent, the service was happy and keen to help despite they were very busy. Wagamama is my favourite place to dine for many reasons. And huge thanks to Val, who looked after us and made sure everything was good with the food and service

Lovely lunch after a busy morning, had very friendly staff serve me and enjoyed my meal very much. I was especially impressed with the range of vegan options. It's worth mentioning that it has a nice atmosphere right by a busy street so was a treat to sit by the window.

I had a pretty poor experience here yesterday. I ordered the Tofu Hot Pot and it came with no butternut squash in it at all and it had way too much chilli in it. My dining partner ordered the Chicken Hot Pot and he confirmed my dish had 4 times the amount of chilli that his dish had. I picked as much of the chilli as I could out and it was 3 large chilli's worth, a good fist full, while my partner with the Chicken hot pot had about 10 thin slices of chilli in his hot pot dish. When I spoke to the waiter about my dish he told me that my dish was supposed to be like that and as I never had had the hot pot before I took him at his word. However looking it up today I can see that it should not have been so hot and that it should have contained the squash. I do not think the waiter was lying I think he simply didn't know. Anyway it was really disappointing when I have previously had good experiences at all Wagamama resturants. It was very busy yesterday and if the tofu hot pot had run out then they should have told me and I would have ordered something else rather than been given a substandard meal.

Too much has changed and not for the better. This visit in particular was very disappointing. The squid started had literally 6 chopped up bits of coriander in that could barely be tasted. Cross contamination of the spicy coating on squid to my daughter’s gyoza which had to be replaced. Orders a prawn raisukaree which was sloppy, arrived with exactly 6 scrawny prawns, huge chunks of red onion as it hadn’t been chopped adequately. Papers were burnt making them bitter rather than sweet and changing the flavour. Told them all this and asked that it be replaced. My daughter’s mini ramen was lacking the full umami miso flavour it used to have. Noodles undercooked, chicken overcooked and dry even though it was huge chunks. It was replaced. Less dry, but still over cooked slightly. About the only thing that was enjoyable was the peach ice tea my daughter had. All in all a hugely disappointing experience. Given the price increase I would still expect the same quality, however this was not delivered. We won’t be back to this one, and may not be back to Wagamama full stop.

Good Wagamama good service and food.

Now, I expected some poxy chain restaurant experience and was happily mistaken. So often shopping centre restaurants are microwaved or sous vide rubbish that arrived on a truck that morning but this was actually pretty good and if it did arrive by truck was still not too shabby. Whether or not it stacks up next to a bowl of noodles from a Singaporean hawkers market or not I dunno but as a Uk version it’s not too bad at all. Good service and scan your QR code and pay idea is great for groups who aren’t paying as one …

Recommend koyo bowls and the chicken hotpot.

Hi ordered the chilli squid arrive burnt and oilly. Informed the server to take this back. Server then brought chilli squid back to table and said that been busy all day and the reason for darkness burnt taste and oil was that oil has not been changed and could not cook a fresh batch because they would use the same oil. This was at 8 pm at night. This is terrible to think that they do not change the oil througout the day and food which is getting freshly cooked if using the same oil from previous recipes.

I live in the US but visit Scotland often and whenever I do I always make sure to make a stop at this Wagamama. Everyone here is so kind. The food is amazing and they always cater to my dietary needs. I only have good things to say about this place!

Food was brilliant and service was great, as always, special shout out to Jade who is always so friendly and helpful, especially with the menu, we had gyoza, prawn nori, katsu curry and kids cha han with prawns, all the dishes were delicious, we go every couple of weeks and find this Wagamama the best, we have been to the Glasgow Fort and Glasgow City Centre and quite a few in London but always find the service at Silverburn the best - also love the new decor/layout

This was one of the worst dining experiences. Incorrect order was sent, twice! The food was not seasoned at all! The rice was undercooked! Even the drinks order was wrong!! The water took ages to come. It was even a ling wait to get sine salt! This was a very bad experience and i don't think i will be coming back here! This review is not based in this one visit. We have had a bad experience here before, almost every time we have ben here. Avoid weekends and other busy times as the restaurant is unable to cope with the pressure, resulting in poor service and poor quality. I have had better experiences at other Wagamama locations, wont be coming back here, sorry!

Come here regularly but really disappointed in our last visit. Bao buns with a cold filling which were barely half a portion and katsu curry took forever as our order went elsewhere. We were given a complimentary side which we waited twenty minutes for and again it was barely cooked. I love the brand and restaurant and hope this is a one off.

Immaculate toilets with hot water. Pleasant eating areas with fixed refectory seating with vaulted mall ceiling giving a nice open feeling. Have dined there repeatedly to my satisfaction.

Ordered take away meal and upbeat juice - no ginger in the juice. Absolutely none. Disappointed as this is the main reason I ordered this drink (take away order). Unfortunately, when my husband called the restaurant, Jade started arguing and disagreeing with him on the phone (I could hear the conversation unfolding). Jade insisting that there was ginger in the drink and insinuating that my husband was lying! Not the case as he had our kids taste his drink at the restaurant - no ginger. This is the second time this has happened at Silverburn and both occasions the staff have handled the situation very poorly. I’d rather they were honest with customers when they run out of ginger so that customers can make an informed choice when placing an order. Hubby ate in with the kids tonight, he ordered the same drink - no ginger. Informed Lauren of the same and asked for ginger in the take away order (mine) and drank his juice without making a fuss. However, that’s not all that was amiss with my order unfortunately. My Shu’s Shiok Chicken also had no lime so the meal was dry. Not the standard I was expecting of Wagamama but it seems this is their standard, unfortunately. Mistakes happen but it’s how we address these mistakes that’s important. Did we receive good value or service for money tonight? I’m afraid not. Staff training is wanting.

Visited Wagamamas for lunch and my partners meal arrived but mine didn't. When staff noticed this was due to the system being down they quickly rectified it and the food came piping hot and very quickly. Staff were very apologetic about the mistake and we were very understanding as it wasn't their fault. Super friendly staff, all with smiles on their faces and you always get tasty food when you visit here. One of our favourite lunch spots!

Took my friends here for there first wagamamas and I couldn’t of asked for a better experience !! With out a doubt better than any wagamamas I’ve been to in glasgow. Food was great as per usual but it was the staff that made it, everyone working seemed cheery and happy to help and drinks were out quickly from the bar . All round perfect experience, everyone will definitely be back 🙌🙌😁

I am a longtime customer of waga at this point, always comforting and reliable. But the meal me and my partner enjoyed at silverburn stood out as one I have particularly enjoyed. This was especially welcome after a string of disappointing and/overpriced experiences in other restaurants surrounding. My steak teriyaki soba was cooked to perfection and well presented. My partner got his usual ramen and remarked it was "banging" clean plates all round and cant fault the service. Portion of banana katsu is in my opinion rather stingey but that would be my only complaint.

Ordered food but it never arrived. Waiter failed to put it through properly on the computer! Left to go find food somewhere else.

Standing waiting to be seated. Restaurant half full, staff studiously ignoring us despite walking past us. No acknowledgment at all from at least 3 staff. When does clearing tables take precedence over greeting and acknowledging your customers. We left. Shocking.

We dined here the other night a party of 6 ordered 6 portions of gyoza to share 1 arrived and then another so we thought ok then the others would arrive but oh no we then were surprised the waitress arrived with our katsu currys and I said we still have not received our other 4 gyoza she said they are coming I started to say but we will be getting our starters with our main meals but she did not seem to understand this so i just left it and so I started to pour the katsu sauce over my meal as I ordered the hot one just like my daughter I complained my curry sauce was cold they took it away and made it fresh so now I had to wait for it to be brought back eventually got a fresh one and nearly everyone else had finished my daughter said hers was not very hot either. The other thing I would like to say is if you can manage to either stick to water or nothing to drink as tiny small bottles of coke 3.60 each x 8 £28.80 😡

I visit this Wagamamas around once a month with my son and there's a reason I keep going back. The staff are super friendly and helpful and so welcoming, particularly Adel who always makes our experience so much better. He's so lovely and kind and my son really likes him so he always has a lovely time. The food is always 10/10 and we're never really kept waiting to be seated. Staff are attentive but not overbearing. If you haven't been to Wagamamas before just take note that your food comes out at different times sometimes as it's freshly made but this doesn't bother us. Will always return here! Consistently great food here! We especially love the duck donburi. Very reasonably priced with good sized portions too. It's a nice touch that they offer green tea free of charge as well.

Amazing service and food. The ambience is the best so we could sit out in the mall and enjoy our food unlike the typical restaurant with closed seating. It was kid friendly and had kid menus.
