Yo Hot Pot in Glasgow City

Easily one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow. If you are looking for a comfortable environment with some high quality and delicious food then give this place a try! Looking forward to returning! 5/5

The BBQ is simply amazing. The hotpot used to be delicious too. Now it’s changed to BBQ and it’s even better. I’ll always support it.

Takeaways from this place are amazing, proper Chinese food! The cumin meat (can't recall if lamb or beef), dandan noodles, and fried rice are great! Get a delivery! Edit: still great!

Absolutely shocking how many fraudulent orders this restaurant has got on JustEat within the last 5 months. Its obviously some sort of money Laundering scam. Police informed and fkn shame on you!

This hotpot restaurant doesn’t allow us to order multiple beef/lamb/pork. They gave us very small amount of it and we can’t order more. Only the vegetable, tofu, and another cheap stuff is allowed to refill. Also the place is very small, we can’t even sit properly. With £25/person I think it’s very overpriced.

Now been scammed twice In two days by orders being made from this restaurant delivering to 16 Bothwell St, G2 2NU, G2 2NU Having read reviews obviously not the first time this has happened. Restaurant comes up as closed on Google. We’re now going to have to contact the bank for fraud on two occasions equating to £80

It's not exactly a buffet, only the hotpot is. Dry pots and grills can only be ordered once. Cash only, £25 per person. The dry pan was very good but the portion size was very small. The grill was average and the food was not tasty. The service is excellent and responsive to requests.

Never been to this place in my life ! Infact its no where near where I live and I was scammed through just eat app for 68 pounds worth of food for this place! How ironic that someone else was recently scammed from this place too!

讲真的，中国人在外开饭店太不容易了，但也不至于这么坑吧。我的第一个餐厅评测送了你们，真的难吃，回去就拉肚子了。很坑，自助餐的字眼，两个人就这么点肉，不新鲜不新鲜不新鲜！！很难吃很难吃很难吃！

A scammer on just eat ordered 80 quids worth of food from this restaurant, I have tried unsuccessfully to call and make the restaurant aware of this and I am now in contact with the frauds team at my bank. I have never been to this restaurant and I am sure the people who run it are great however I am doing this to make them aware in case details have somehow been manipulated online and payments are going directly to the scammer, this is some gamer prank or other customers face this same issue. To whomever did this don't care if this is a prank on one of your bros or something more please think twice, 80 quid is a lot of money and having to cancel all my cards and wait for new ones to come through is pretty rubbish

For £25/pp this place isn't pretty bad. I eat hot pot most times so I knew my way around this but I wouldn't eat my hot pot here again and rather at home. But if you don't eat hot pot at home then this place is quite good. The hostess is really nice, runs the place on her own with I assume her partner. But be aware that they are Chinese! They try their best explaining everything to you and it's easy to understand 😊. Wide selection on their menu but they charge extra for drinks. And do not underestimate the spice, they spice is quite high for anything spicy.

First experience of Chinese hot pot for my daughters birthday (her choice) and we both left stuffed and happy. Cooked meats and veg were delicious and cooking a hot pot was an enjoyable experience that we will repeat.

Great place with a nice host and good options for the meal. Cash only 25 💷 per person to start with. Plenty of extras to add on so be sure to stop by the ATM first. Remember this is good authentic food, in an authentic atmosphere which means you are not going to have a waiter at your beck and call but the food is so good! Would come back again and again. Not a lot of explanation when you come in, so be sure to google how to hot pot, cooking times etc. Don't over cook your noodles!

I have never seen any worse service than what we have received tonight. We kindly asked the owner if the food was ready after a 40-min wait but were treated very rudely in the end - the owner answered with a very aggressive attitude and asked us to leave if “you are unhappy with my attitude”, as he said. Will never visit again

一心去光顧，話12:00開舖，企在舖外等了約30分鐘至12:30都未開，叩門、舖內有人都不理不睬，打電話、電話通了但不接聽… 無謂受氣，一於列入黑名單，大家睇路喇。

朋友到格拉玩 提前好几天预定的餐厅 老板说周日不开门让我们预约周一 结果周一晚上下着大雨跑来吃火锅却发现根本没人 直接关门了 也没人通知我们 一整个大离谱😓

老板的态度非常差！指着鼻子骂我们。花了199磅多，居然还这态度，真的太垃圾了！在格拉的噩梦经历！

Super cozy, seems to be family-run. Service is great and the tiered hotpot is a great idea. NB cash only.

I just went on my own and would not give me a table as I was on my own and only do tables for 2 or more.i was there about an hour before they shut on a Sunday. They had a few spare tables I feel this is terrible attitude.

Order was cancelled an hour after the order was made, 20 mins after is was due to arrive. No explanation.

We tried this restaurant for take away. I had the crispy spicy pork and boiled rice. It was absolutely amazing. Rice was beautifully flavoured by the juices from my pork. You have to try this restaurant 😋

This is a very nice and authentic hotpot restaurant. It’s run by a lovely family, the prices are fair and the food is really good. The Chinese beers they serve finish it of perfectly. I recommend asking for help with making a sauce. The chef made a very, very nice sesame sauce for us; one that we, only half familiar with the Chinese kitchen would never have thought of.

The service was bad and the food was not good with the new management. The food next table was burn and hurts the eyes and throat of other customers, and no one do anything about it or apologise. Will never go back again.

Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. Lovely friendly place, bigger than it seems from the outside. Waiter and waitress were so lovely and explained everything we needed to know to be able to make the most out of our meal. It was a lovely experience and such good fun. The food was fantastic and honestly one of the best places I’ve been in. The customer service certainly played a part on this. Very clean and the prices are really good, even more considering the amounts you can eat. Thank you Yo! Hotpot. Loved it and cannot wait to come back.

can't fault had a pleasant evening

was once good now utter rubbish, plate came frozen with all the meat frozen to it. so either you ate all the meat at once (as you were chipping it off the plate) or not at all. The hotpot flavours have gone up in price in the last 6 months with some costing almost £30 each! JUST FOR THE SOUP BASE! food was sub par and staff were busy chatting to tyheir friends so we had to get our own chopsticks and even get up and tap them on the shoulder to get their attention. DONT BOTHER, there are many other hot pot places that are way better !!!

What a fabulous meal! Abundance of yummy fresh ingredients in a very informal and friendly atmosphere. A new favourite, can't wait to eat there again.

可以说是我和朋友们的食堂了，锅底一级棒，我最喜欢羊蝎子+菌菇鸳鸯锅底，小龙虾也好吃，当然了，我最喜欢里边的藕片和玉米，非常非常入味。有免费的西瓜和龟苓膏，瑞士卷也很好吃，很喜欢。要不是怕胖怕上火，我能天天吃。

The food was authentic, staff was friendly, service was really quick. I will definitely come to Glasgow again just for this restaurant.
