The best restaurants in Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

I went here with my friends for a lovely get together. In fairness the waitress was very efficient. We chose our meals from the lunch time menu as it was before 5pm. All but one of us chose simply Chicken. I chose this because it sounded quite tasty but when it arrived it was bland and boring. The jacket potato was like rubber and the chicken certainly wasn't proper chicken breast and was processed. One of my friends chose to just have veg with hers and I couldn't believe it when it came as it consisted of loads of peas infact looked like they had used a bag of peas on her meal. There was no taste at all to this meal and two of my friends actually didn't eat their chicken at all. Definitely won't be returning there as poor value and quality. The only upside was we had a great catchup.

Por lo general, un gran lugar para ir para una comida familiar fácil. Mi esposa y yo pedimos dos filetes medio raros, cuando llegaron vino ligeramente al lado raro / azul de las cosas. Pedimos que se cocinaran un poco más. El gerente del restaurante vino a la mesa para informarnos que estábamos equivocados. Y los filetes eran de hecho medio raros. Y explicó si tenía que rehacerlos que estaríamos esperando un rato (los platos ya los había quitado otro camarero). Explicamos que estábamos felices de tener los mismos filetes solo cocinados un poco más. Cuando los filetes volvieron a salir, los otros miembros del grupo habían terminado su comida. El filete vino lleno de cantidades masivas de grasa (ver imágenes a continuación [Primera imagen filete entero/Segunda imagen grasa en filete] ) En ningún momento la gerente se disculpó por el filete, nos culpó por el problema. Normalmente estábamos en el restaurante de forma regular, por desgracia debido a esta experiencia no vamos a volver.

Gran lugar para visitar cuando compras en Glasgow fuerte! No puedo esperar a mi próxima visita para la envoltura de cajún - literalmente obsesionado! Servicio siempre increíble! ¡El equipo de espera siempre hace lo posible para garantizar que lo pasemos de lo mejor!

Excellent pace to go for breakfast after a night out with the girls - sunday breakfast was great and Maria had a voucher so good value

Food was fantastic as always. However service was very poor. Took 5 or so minutes after seated until drinks were ordered. Asked for the kids meal to come as soon as it was ready however I feel this was misunderstood as it all came together. Not once during eating or when clearing starters and mains were we asked how everything was. Even during the bill process when I asked for the bill and presented a voucher code to there was no communication from the server at all. Not one word to ask how our visit was or how much the bill was. Just shoved card machine in our face without a bid farewell or anything. Management defientely need to intervene as service is really shocking for the establishment it is meant to be

Great venue for live music, we managed to see JCB on Sunday afternoon and they were amazing - a great range of rock and punk covers and the frontman was the funniest we've ever seen. We didn't have any food as eating was cheating but the food that was being served looked amazing at great prices. A fabulous boozer not far from Central Station. Ten times better than the boring Crystal Palace dump next door. The staff were super attentive and very friendly. Well worth a visit - we'll be back

Have ordered often but this time quality was poor. Sausage was really dry and cold, only 1 egg on roll despite it saying there would be two. Not impressed.

Thoroughly enjoyed home made soup and a delicious panini for my lunch followed by tea and biscuits. Didn't want big breakfast my hotel offered and the tea rooms bacon roll and excellent cuppa got my day of to a good start - 3 times. Found the staff very friendly. Sorry for other traveller who felt ignored must have been a one off.

We had fish and chips. Had them a few times over the years and they were lovely. Today, horrible. Batter was brown and hard, fish was very dry and hard. Horrible. Waitress said it was previously cooked and then warmed up. She offered us another one and it was a lot different, batter was golden and fish was quite tasty. However, we won't go.back again as we were looking forward to.it. My partner is 83 and I am 78 and we were very upset by this. Will not be back.

Does u sell any goat, I think it’s a very nice delicacy meat would be great with a side of rice! Excellent atmosphere would totally recommend, fab food and staff! Q-Do you do parties? Thank you! Thumbs up from me!XDDD

What a fantastic service. Very delicious, fresh food, fresh crispy salad, french fries. Chicken, lamb, and donner meat, all freshly prepared. Jazakallah khair

Updating my review due to recent changes. This used to be our go to for a take away, however we now avoid due to a change in the quality. The batter is chewy and bland, the haggis is completely bland. Chips are crunchy and often just small flakes of batter.

Cena muy decepcionante. El menú ha cambiado a un precio establecido de 14. 95 para 3 tapas con una selección limitada. Cuando llegó algunas de nuestras tapas estaban frías. Los refrescos se sirvieron en pequeños vasos de whisky, pero todavía se cargaron a más de 3. La gota que colmó el vaso fue que habían agregado un cargo por servicio a la factura que no se había mencionado anteriormente. Hubiéramos pedido que se eliminara, pero teníamos prisa por un espectáculo. Demasiado caro y sobrevalorado. Evitar.
