Thai Sun in Glasgow City

My daughter loves the salt and pepper chicken and chips from here she's 7 years old and eats a small salt and pepper munchie box to herself she's built like the side of a fiver tho lol all seriousness bangin food guys 🙌🤟👍

Staff were very pleasant and food delivered promptly. Kung Po was mild. I like mine hot.

Having searched high and low for a Chinese that offers gluten free to no avail I finally stumbled upon Thai Sun. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and was able to give me a list of what food I could order that can be made gluten free. I ordered a chicken, pepper and black bean sauce, which I haven't had since before I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease 8 years ago, and oh my goodness, it was sensational. Thank you for making me a very happy girl.

The food here is very good especially the chicken curry which I get extra hot. The beef curry is nice too but its not topside which is a lot nicer.This is one of my many favourite takeaways. 5 years on today after visiting tai sun the food is still quality can't complain.

Tasted ok but the portion sizes are terrible. Chow mein was really poor.

Only used this chinese but got food tonight and my boiled rice was solid . Hubby got special fried rice minus prawns and egg paid extra for more chicken and was given 3 slices. Will not go back again absolutely disgusting

Había ordenado varias comidas para llevar de aquí. Entrega siempre rápida y comida caliente y deliciosa. De lejos, los mejores chinos de la zona. Además, solo pregunte y le dirán si los artículos que desea no contienen gluten. Generalmente obtengo el satay porque no contiene gluten, la salsa es increíble.

Después de haber usado Thai Sun durante años, ahora estoy totalmente disgustado con su servicio al cliente y nunca los volveré a usar. A mi pedido (entregado) le faltaba algo de pollo, inconveniente pero no gran cosa (pensé). Solo llame por teléfono, avíseles y lo resolverán, ¿verdad? INCORRECTO ! ! ! Me acusaron de mentir acerca de que mi pedido era corto y me dijeron que no enviarían el pollo (perdido). Cualquier negocio decente nunca trataría a sus clientes que pagan de esta manera, así que solo puedo creer que definitivamente no son un negocio decente, por lo que recomendaría no usarlos, ya que hay muchos otros lugares similares en el área local que brindarán un servicio mucho mejor. .

Recientemente pedí sopa agridulce, carne sze chuan y arroz frito. La sopa era excelente, el arroz frito era bueno. El szechuan era excelente, aparte de la carne. Hubiera preferido rodajas más pequeñas. Sin embargo, la calidad de la carne era extremadamente mala. Lo masticaba y masticaba y terminé escupiéndolo. Era demasiado duro y se mantenía unido con líneas de grasa o algo así.

Just moved into the area not long and tried all the chinese takeaways in the area. This was recommended by a couple of my neighbours actually. Salt chilli dishes are amazing. Curries are good too. Delivery time is reasonable. Good quality. Definitely my new favourite chinese.

Lovely food I love chow Meon and salt and chilli chips the noodles are thin and amazing tryed a lot really recommend there food and very fresh

Delicious!! Honey ribs - my little one loved them! Special chicken combination my new favourite!!! Also had sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice and Singapore show main. Highly recommended!!

I ordered 2 chicken satay’s and the sauce was NOT satay sauce it was a very spicy sauce, my 3 grandsons who have a great appetite and are really good eaters could not eat this..will not be using this take away again £18.30 wasted

Somehow the food got worse after the prices went up??? Chicken was dry, chips were obviously reheated and the curry sauce was like slime! Mini veg rolls were so overcooked the pastry was actually sharp! Add onto that the fact they forgot the prawn crackers, i think its safe to say we will definitely not be ordering from here again!!

I'm not a local.... from Fife.... but i review everywhere i eat from all over the UK and Thai Sun deserves 6 stars and all i had was salt and pepper wings.....cooked perfectly and oozing with flavour... the best i have had anywhere in the UK and you deserve every star i have given yourselves in this review..... well done and I'll sure be back to try a curry next time.... extra hot please 😂

Pedimos 45 comida para llevar y estaba acuosa y asquerosa. Llamé por teléfono unos días más tarde debido a circunstancias imprevistas y la señora por teléfono es la mujer más horrible y abusiva con la que he hablado por teléfono. Nunca más ordenando desde aquí.

This is a strange place.. sometimes good and sometimes not so good but recently the not so good experiences are winning. Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice - the chicken balls look massive but they are mostly all thick, chewy batter ( tastes like undercook dough) and not very nice.. especially as the chicken inside was rubbery.. it certainly don't taste freshly made. The fried rice here always used to be very good but now it always seems to be overcooked. Our chicken curry was quite bland and without any real flavour. This used to be a nice reasonably priced takeaway with decent food... but it has gone down hill in recent months.... very disappointing.

This is our main chinese takeaway. C1s are good! Usually get curries, salt pepper dishes and sweet sour chicken cantonese style. Lovely. Hm... Thinking about it makes me want to get one tonight! :D

Tasteless chicken curry, the curry sauce was just like gravy and the onions were tasteless also. Easily the worst Chinese curry Ive ever had the misfortune to taste. Steer well clear. Wont be back. Would have given it no stars if I could

Happy staff, awesome food and fast deliveries

After a busy day at work followed by a bit of quality time with my granddaughter whilst some work was takin place at home it was late when we decided we should think about getting something to eat. It was too late to start cooking so it was an easy decision to go for a carry-out. There are a few places to choose from in Nitshill but for us Thai Sun is one of the best. I usually go for a sliced breast of chicken curry and mostly with chips. The others members of the family chose chow mien of one type or another. No matter what the quality of the food is excellent and as it is usually busy you expect to wait but it is always worth the wait. Friday it was served quickly and we all enjoyed it. Even my 22 month old Granddaughter who took a bite from every plate. It is always a special treat visiting Thai Sun and the service usually comes with a smile. If it's been a while since you treated yourself to some Chinese food pop along to Thai Sun for good quality food to eat at home.

Thank god this little gem is opened again....was forced to use the chinese opposite and it was horrendous....thai sun is just so superior in every way, food is delicious great portions and fast service.. ..just a quick update..thank you for another fantastic meal..and your kind offer ..hope all the staff have a fabulous new year 😆😆

This has been my families favourite Chinese for years and we always always order from here!! Have tried a few other places but always end up going back to Thai Sun. Love the curry sauce from here. It is cheap and ideal for a takeaway on a Friday or Saturday night!

Salty sun should be re named , this place used to be ok , last few dishes out of here been caked with salt !!! What they trying to cover up ???? ,

Great takeaway, great food but I don't know why it's called thai sun as it has more Chinese food than thai because there is only a tiny section of thai food.

Cannot fault this place. Whole family love it & we're all really fussy. Tasty food, large portions & great prices. 100% recommended.
