Bollywood Spice in Glasgow City

Ordered two pizzes as I've ordered pizza and kebabs from here before and they were really good but this time around the pizzas were really disgusting! Kids wouldn't eat there's so the whole lot went in the bin which is surprising as they've liked it before . Then I tried ours and no wonder they never liked it , the pizza base just flopped and was soggy, the chicken was really chewy and just disgusting so 2 pizzas went in the bin abd the delivery driver was so rude!! I'll never order from here again after that experience

Did not deliver what was advertised and ordered. When i called to query staff were very rude and hung up on me when i asked why?

Wouldn’t order from here!! Phoned up an hour later and he said it’s out for delivery be there in 15. Half an hour goes by I phone again and the cheek I got from the owner was absolutely disgraceful! Told him to phone the delivery driver not to deliver as now after 9pm. The delivery driver arrives at 10 past 9 when I ordered at 7.20!!!! Absolute joke

the driver started arguing with me because i handed over 50 pence in coins . i dont need to feel belittled by a delivery driver will never order from here again because of him

Ordered a chips and cheese large and got chips

We ordered a kebab with a large pitta and salad. It arrived literally just a box of doner meat. It was also quite cold. Delivery was 15 mins late

Complete shambles! Said was out for delivery then it was delivered. Phoned and they just cancelled order

Fantastic food - arrived super quick and piping hot! Chicken pakora was excellent, the best we’ve had!! And the pizza was delicious. Even the chips were great! 10/10 - delighted!

Pizza base needed another 5 minutes was still doughy and the chips had enough salt to cause a heart attack

First and last time I’ll ever order. Got a nasty surprise in my curry. It was either a shard of glass or a really hard plastic foreign body. I contacted JUSTEAT 4 days ago as it should be reported to the FSA. Nothing happening. I’d post pics but don’t have the opportunity. Was waiting on an explanation before posting this review but haven’t got one!

I ordered from this restaurant as there weren’t very many Indian restaurants open. I ordered through Just eat. The food was substantial and tasty until I came across a foreign object in my curry! Im unsure if it was a shard of glass or a really hard plastic, neither of which I would liked to have swallowed! I complained to Just Eat 4 days ago and still waiting. The FSA should absolutely be involved!

great donor kebab, other places don't serve it properly, but you did it just right with the salad and sauce on top. other places miss out the salad or miss our the sauce. I now where to go in future. thanks

Curries and rice dishes were very tasty, arrived hot. Nan bread (both the garlic and spicy ordered) was too dry and hard to chew.

When order arrived pizza was missing, phoned shop who phoned driver and pizza arrived about 10 mins later. Tandoori king prawn that was ordered arrived with no rice, just 7 king prawns on to of a tub full of onions, at £14 I think this was ridiculous, i have a photographof the prawn dish. We have been using this shop for many years and recently noticed with the curries the meat, prawns etc, seems to get less and less, we used to be able to make a meal last 2 nights. So will not be using them again

We ordered king prawn in our set meals which states on the menu is an extra charge however this is not added to the bill on the just eat app, we didn't realise this and assumed we'd been charged but the restaurant called us after completing our order to ask us for the extra payment which we paid in cash to the driver! There is clearly an issue with the restaurant menu on the just eat app, this needs addressed quickly because it will put me off ordering again! Other than the issue above, delivery was quick and the food was really good. We really enjoyed our meal.

The 2peices chicken where not even cook there where cold and one bit was all black shocking at to send food out never order from here again I stop using just eat because of some of the take aways are shocking I only started using you again yesterday I think I will be finished with you for good

Grill box was good but the chips were skinny chips and very floppy like they were steamed rather than fried. The nachos were horrible- like no nachos I've seen or had before. On some sort of flat bread, hardly any cheese or nachos.

Worst food quality. We have ordered Tandoori chicken and it was so dry , hard , full of red colour and no taste. It's looks like dip fried chicken in oil . Taste so bad . With chicken they give one portion rice , it was good and they gave curry , it was so so and the salad only cabbage and lettuce rarely you can see cucumber. Food was so bad .

Hardly any chicken in their 1/2 curry 1/2 rice £7.50. Don't buy.

Waited over an hour for the food. Called the restaurant very unhelpful couldn’t not tell us when the food would arrive. Food was cold when it arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not happy

Mixed chicken and lamb doner kebab with garlic sauce. I asked for Jalapeños and the guy garnished with a little Lettuce and tomato on top. Best takeaway kebab ive had 👌£5.50 for a small yet generous portion. Will be back.

First time i tried this place because of the reviews however the food was really awful. The curry’s we bought tasted off, pakora batter was inedible and the chicken had an awful after taste. Rice was also hard. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to this time. Ordered a munchie box that was just superb. Most generous I've ever seen, and quality was perfect too. ON top of everything else it was delivered in lightning time. Thank you Bollywood Spice!

Sterling kebab, as always. Read the notes and gave me pitta and extra salad instead of naan bread. And split the pitta as a base. Nice touch!

I ordered a munchie box never had one before lots of food I had a bit of every thing but I just wasn't happy with it the donna meat the foxes got that everything else went in the bin there was so much wrong with it I will not get it again

I love the kebabs from here but this is the last time I order a curry. Butter masala chicken had the same watery tomato sauce that came with the biryani. Disappointing.

Terrible. Over priced for what you get food and value for money. Awful cheese, cheap frozen fries for chips, no onions or lemon etc in pakora... tastyish enough when reheated in the microwave at home as it was late being delivered after giving them an hour and half approx for order to be received for just chicken pakora and chips n cheese

The food arrived late, the pizza & food was cold, and the top of the pizza was burnt. I ordered chicken tikka pizza but the chicken on the pizza did not taste like chicken tikka. I phoned the restaurant when the order was late to see what’s happening, and they were nice and helpful over the phone.

I love this place, buuuut, they’re biryani isn’t great.

It’s a takeawa… but in the kind of way that you go after a few drinks. I would not order to be delivered or expect the food to be above mediocre. It’s cheap (ish) and cheerful

I ordered a spicy chicken pizza, which didn't have the wee white plastic round part in the middle and when it arrived due to the chicken "breast" pakora being placed ontop of the box as it never had the white plastic thing being missing half the pizza was stuck to the roof of the box!!! Also my son half way through his "breast" of chicken pakora nearly cholked on a big chicken bone!! Not happy at all with our order!!

I don’t normally bother leaving a review as food is always good enough to not bother, sadly this was the worst takeaway I think I’ve ever had and I am now 40 years old. Cheers

Avoid!! Save your well earned cash try few other local ones instead could do with a right good deep cleaning.

Food cold. Despite living nearby. £1.30 for extra sauce and only 3/4 filed tub. Yesterdays kebab meat by the looks of it. Getting worse. Pizzas are the only safe option from this place. Everything else you risk half your order bot comming or it being lackluster.and even then the pizzas not hot lol. Time to go elsewhere. Armatures.

Meal for one is half a tub but tasty chicken bhuna. Cold drink was in with food so might need to ask for that to be kept separate so food doesn't get cold. Nice tender chicken...I enjoyed.
