Blue Sky in Glasgow City

Love Blue Sky. Attempted to purchase a meal tonight and the person at the counter didn't lift her eyes from the mobile phone in her hand behind the counter. Instead choosing to blindly point at the menu on the wall without ever lifting her head and attempting at least to make eye contact.. I left without placing an order.

Very disappointed,the food was extremely bland.

Ive worked here for 9yrs.love my customers.i have a great relashionship with most if them.i dont cook the food.customers that say theve waited for 3hrs for food have obvs ordered thru app and put a time in it they want.

Sadly Blue Sky has gone down hill at lightening speed. Just had cremated spare ribs delivered and special fried rice that was so overcooked it was congealed. The previous 2 orders were also disappointing. Overcooked rice and crabmeat soup with no crabmeat. After using this place for over 35 years, I won't be back.

Got a curry most of the chicken was not for human consumption, as Del boy said, " it was that tough, it asked me out for a fight twice" SO PLEASE AVOID AT AL COST !!!!! Also I have informed the health and safety off-con to get this place checked, so if yous want any Yellow paint i can provide at cost

I don't order out much but no matter how long I don't make an order it's a no brainer good food been ordering for a lot of yrs

Love this take away. The food is always so delicious. Delivery can be a bit longer than usual but only because the guys are so busy and have such a large area to cover, when it arrives it’s always worth the wait.

Waited over an hour and a half called to find out to be told the driver had been at my door no one had rang my bell to have the driver swear at me and hang up the phone one me. Ended up waiting over 2 hours for food called at 7:15pm didn’t get it till after 9pm

Poor customer service Waited nearly 2 hrs for delivery. Have been using blue sky for over 15 years. First they said they couldn't find address, next they said I had given wrong address. Asked to have order cancelled then I was told it already had been for " my cheek". They had no intention of delivering l. Won't be ordering from Blue sky again. Customer service poor and so was the attitude

Spring rolls were fine, chicken Satay on skewers was overcooked and quite hard to bite into. Not exactly what I was expecting. Fried rice was fine. Maybe next time I'll be luckier

Prices are up, a breast of chicken curry was second rate, mabye changed chef or just the slippery slope, will not be using again.

The salt and chilli wings have got to be the best anywhere 😋 love it

I grew up with my Mum and Dad ordering from this takeaway, and I’ve never tasted Chinese food as good. Now this is my daughter’s local takeaway, and it’s still the best Chinese ever!

Salt and chilli munchie box full of meat and very tasty food portion good and roasting hot good wait time will be back

Pedir comida fuera de aquí mucho. Normalmente, todo está bien. Anoche mi orden estaba completamente equivocada. Llamé por teléfono para decirles que, después de mucho zumbido y ahhing, me informaron que no habían entregado esa orden. Debe haber sido otra comida para llevar, mi orden todavía estaba siendo hecha. Huelo BS. Como he dicho, ordeno allí la mayoría de los fines de semana y obviamente reconozco el controlador que usan. Así que he terminado con este lugar.

I went to the restraint and got my food and when I went up to the counter the staff weren't even acknowledging I was present and when I was saying my order they kept interrupting and couldn't get me out of there quick enough. They were very rude and the woman I spoke to had an awful attitude shouldn't be customer facing. She was speaking to all the other members of staff while I was ordering and wasn't listening wouldn't recommend if your looking for good service AT ALL

the food is excellent and plentiful and the delivery is very fast even on busy nights, highly recommend this take away

Fuimos cinco amigos ya que estabamos de paso en Glasgow y cogimos el lugar más barato. Nada más llegar, en la cocina, había un perro comiendo de un plato de la zona común del que luego comen los huéspedes. La habitación muy sucia, una de la literas superiores era inaccesible ya que la escalera estaba ROTA. Cuando intentamos ir a cenar a la cocina, nos encontramos con una fiesta, llena de gente borracha. Tuvimos que compartir mesa con un hombre durmiendo la mona literalmente. Nos hicieron salir a las 2 de la mañana a un cajero ya que había que dejarles una fianza para las llaves, la fianza solo les valía en pounds, ni en euros ni que les dejasemos el DNI, aún suplicandole no nos dejaron. Cuando ya estabamos dormidos entra un hombre muy muy ebrio en la habitacion que curiosamente era el recepcionista del hostel. Mis amigos intentaron ducharse en las duchas de arriba y en medio de la ducha el agua se apagó y tuvieron que irse mojados a las duchas de abajo, las cuales tambien estaban rotas y tuvieron que arreglar. Esta mañana haciendo el check out, nos ponen problemas para devolvernos la fianza de las llaves y aun encima la señora que estaba en recepcion nos trata muy desagradablemente. Llevamos un año recorriendonos Europa y durmiendo en hostels y nunca habiamos tenido tantos problemas como en este.

This is the worst takeaway for service. You wait 65 minutes and then they tell you they lost the slip. they don't care Hurt them in the pocket.

Takeaway was not nice, just a chicken curry but there was something funny about it, yeah.. tasted unusual and just ordered Pizza from curry zone instead

Pobre!Usamos aquí más tarde por la noche cuando trabajo y haber intentado una Night-Shift unos cuantos platos diferentes pero deja mucho que desear.He probado 'sweet & Sour pollo estilo '(Cantones) y 'Pechuga de Pollo al Curry y están entre los peores que he probado en mi vida... mis colegas decir lo mismo de la de pollo" y "especiales" Chow Meins'!No estoy convencido de que la comida es particularmente fresco y es extremadamente bastante pesado!Aros de cebolla desde aquí son sin sabor y demasiado hechos hasta el punto de incineración y las patatas fritas desde aquí son correosos y basura!Mejor evitar.

I ordered chicken Peking style,fried rice and curry sauce and I have never tasted anything so disgusting to say I will never order from here again is an understatement please stay clear

Wir haben hier nur für eine Nacht zum Start des WHW übernachtet, und hatten ein 14 Bett-ZImmer für uns alleine, weshalb es einigermaßen in Ordnung war. Sanitäre Anlagen nicht so schön. Musik im Gemeinschaftsraum unangenehm laut. GEschmackssache.

Very good quality and service. Curries and salt and chilli dishes are just fab. Highly recommended. My family just can't get enough of this place.

My husband and I have enjoyed the food from the Blue Sky for many years. Last night I ordered food for a Christmas party for 10 of us. It was delivered on time, it was hot and very fresh and the quality of the food was brilliant. Everyone commented on how good the food was. Thank you Blue Sky.

Have been coming here for a good few years now after struggling to find a good Chinese in the area! The food is always fresh and hot and really tasty! The staff also try their best to make the meal with any requirements you may have. Only thing I would say is that when you have phoned in an order for collection, they quite often make mistakes (which you don't realise until you're home) however, they normally fix this free of charge or send out a delivery driver. Overall very pleased. Will continue coming as usual!

So many takeaways to choose for but this is a good one and has been for a number of years. It is always busy for pick-up and deliveries.

My whole family loves this place. We've been going here since it was still called Henry's Blue Sky. Despite the name change the food has remained tasty as ever! Never had a bad meal from Blue Sky. Whenever we get a Chinese somewhere else, we always make a comment that it's "just not the same". No other Chinese has nailed gravy quite the way this has IMHO.I do wish they were on Just Eat/Hungry House to make ordering and paying easier, though!

Cannot fault this chinese takeaway, I have had various curries, sweet n sour, ribs, King Prawn dishes, and my favourite chow meins, all presented and cooked in the same manner. Would highly recommend as a 1st class place for a lovely meal to take home for a pleasant evening.

If your looking for a tasty bit of Chinese cuisine, then look no further, a very tasty curry sauce. My personal favourite is the king prawn curry.

Where we stay theres about 30 ( yes THIRTY ! ! ) places to eat within a quarter mile . This is our favourite . Have NEVER had a bad meal and that's good going as we are a large family and theres someone ordering from here 2 or 3 times a week .

Blue Sky has some decent dishes but most are a touch on the bland side and a at times a bit heavy with the soy sauce.Their chilli chicken wings are easily the best things on the menu and are what keeps me going back!

Poor cheap quality "Chinese" take away, chicken is of very poor quality, the beef tastes very strange and food is usually very greasy!!
