Ordered take away at 5ish tonight still sitting here 18:55 called guy said oh i was going to call driver at hospital he will deliver in about 45 mins I then said if he is in hospital how can he deliver he said oh em he is getting advice and em em . I said dnt treat me as if I am daft to which he said I dnt care if u believe me or not I shall cancel order. I said is my food ready he said no is said is my order still live he said no I had cancelled it before so I was waiting for nothing disgusting way to treat customer

Its a takeaway now but the food is clean and very tasty. Had 6 times now

ordered through just eat. Said my food had arrived which it didn’t so I called the takeaway and staff was so rude was told that my buzzer was pressed , they tried to call and they chapped my door when they never! I have a camera on my door also and it hasn’t picked anyone up near my door! he said in order for me to get my food I was to pay them extra!!!

Waited 2 hours for food. Phoned to be told it was next and nothing. Phoned and restaurant shut. Incredibly disappointing.

Very unacceptable food today. Ordered crispy shredded chilli chicken was stale, dry and was soaked in some sort of sticky sauce probably to cover up the unedeble food. Now the salt and chilli chicken was equally dry and stale. How the chef had the audacity to let this food leave the kitchen. Next we ordered singaporean VEGETARIAN RICE very specifically ordered vegetarian. This dish arrived with chicken and prawns through it!! This dish was also terribly prepared. The plain chowmein and fried rice were a 4 out of 10. What a WASTE of money!

had to call twice for an update. first call said we would be next them had to call back after waiting another 35 mins. the food is always great from here but unfortunately their delivery waits always let them down!

Decent salt and pepper chips, missing the veggies thoe. Unsure if it’s halal.

Delivery time always spot on and food amazing, roast duck curry was just absolutely gorgeous and spring rolls are the best in Glasgow! 10 out of 10 for me, keep up the great stuff folks!

Really bad experience, we got told it would be delivered in 10 mins when we called at 21:10. It took half an hour. We got told it was the next delivery and to give it 10 mins but the food was warm so it was probably not even cooked yet.

Was a little disappointed with the food unfortunately; the chicken was very slimey in the chicken noodles I ordered which didn’t have much flavour and the noodles were very very thin. The sweet and sour veg was quite bland and watery also and the honey chicken was also quite bland. Just a little feedback for the future , we were very pleased that this takeaway was halal however as it is quite hard to find a halal Chinese just wish the food was a bit better, service was also quite fast think we waited less than 15mins.

Still waiting for order after 90 minutes

Disgraceful waiting time of over two hours for one small dish. To add to that matter the delivery driver claimed that he didn’t have enough change to give me back so I was down £5. He had the cheek to continue with taking a tip on top of that. Man at reception I’d spoken to was making excuses for the delivery driver rather than understanding I am owed money. You’ve lost a loyal customer from 10 years+. Professional man front of house needed and new, organised honest delivery staff.

Ordered chicken fried rice and found bones in the chicken always order from here and food is always good but won't be ordering again

Do not try to order from this restaurant on Uber eats. Poor service, maturity and ability to deliver. Accepts orders then closes store.

still hasn’t arrived and it’s been 2 and a half hours

Taking over 2 and a half hours to arrive was terrible service. We’ve tried this restaurant multiple times and it’s never arrived within the Uber generous allocated time slots of 35-65 minutes but taking roughly 150 minutes to arrive upon delivery when we live less then 10 minutes away was shocking service. We rang multiple times for updates and could not believe how slow service was for a Thursday evening (not even a weekend order). Once you finally receive their food it’s an average Chinese but certainly not worth an indefensible wait of pushing 3 hours to deliver food for 2 people. Highly disappointed and would not ever recommend again. Do not order here. P.S I’ve never had to write a review until this terrible experience of a Chinese convinced me to write one.

Curry always amazing, good wee bit of spiciness with the sauce, gorgeous chunks of beef, fried onions crispy (good hearty portions too), and the fried rice just amazing!!!!!!!! Spring rolls, absolute delight!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!

Quality of food was good however late delivery and the fact the sauce went everywhere was not ideal! Would go again, but would only collect.

I loved the food. Eating authentic chinese for first time and I feel like going back again and again. 🙂 especially I loved starters. We also got free spring rolls.

Ordered breast of chicken sliced with no onion. Came chopped with onion all through it!! Now having to order something different for my son!!60 minutes beyond stated time despite them saying it was delivered for stats purposes!!!!!

First time ordering from Lemon Tree and the food was lovely! The delivery driver was a little late but he apologized cuz he got lost (my area is a bit of a maze thanks to all the side streets lol) but the food was still warm enough to enjoy.

They need to do plain chicken balls

Chicken fried rice - unpleasant/slimy dark bits of the meat. Sweet and sour sauce - runny, not overly tasty. Chow mein - standard, decent enough, can’t go wrong. Also No prawn crackers with a £24 order! Disappointed, expected better. Will be trying elsewhere

Food was over an hour late and arrived cold. Sent a request for an update, didn't get one. Called the restaurant and was told it was out for delivery, but it still took an additional half an hour after calling.

Basic. Crispy fried Won-ton was good. Rice lacked seasoning. Chicken that came in the satay wasn't good, no texture to it. The cashew bean curd was alright.

Everything cooked to perfection, staff are so friendl. Delivered early and piping hot, delivery person was professional and friendly. Highly recommend, you can't beat perfection.

literally best chinese ever so good soooooooooooo good everything was perfect. such good sauce on chicken fried rice, chow mein is so class and don’t even get me started on the chicken noodle soup and salt and chilli chicken. curry sauce was so spicy but so good. 15/10 new fave love you lemon tree

I place a order at 8:20 pm, order accepted delivery estimate at 9: 20 and 9:55, I call the restaurant and they say my order will be dispatch in the next 5 minutes when in the app says the order was delivered was not, my order arrived at 10:25 pm , all the items in my order was cold, maybe they were waiting in the restaurant for mor than an hour. Last time I'll order here,

The food is nice but it takes forever to be delivered. Always takes a lot longer than they say. It's always over an hour. Sometimes waited a couple of hours for a delivery

Delivery driver was clearly a taxi driver! Was advised by the app that my food was delivered and to enjoy! Called restaurant who said driver was walking out the door! Took a further 2 phone calls and 45 minutes after I was advised the food would be delivered for the food to be delivered. Ordered food at 18:41pm food arrived at 21:00pm.

Chicken breast and chicken fried rice was cooked to perfection, salt and chilli chips are the best I've ever tried. The curry sauce is delicious with the right amount of hotness. Prices are good, ordering is super easy, delivery was 45 minutes earlier than expected and food was piping hot. Staff and delivery person where professional and friendly. If I could afford to order from here every night of the week I would. Highly recommend to all great variety, great service, good prices and amazing food.

Special Satay was awful, just full of skin…had to spit out my first mouthful… everything else mediocre and having spent more than £50 on food, really surprised prawn crackers never came with the meal… won’t be back!

We ordered nearly £50 worth of food for half of it to be delivered then the other half came about 30minutes later. The rest of the food was now cold and we were all very disappointed

Top notch food every time and delivered in excellent time ( and for a Saturday night speedy delivery), food always piping hot, beef curry was delicious, curry sauce has a nice spicy bite to it with thick crispy onions, fried rice good enough to eat by itself!!!!! Seriously one of the best, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Top notch!!!!!!

Delivery times can be quite long but its worth waiting for.

The lemon tree has gone downhill in recent years both in terms of food and the service. To the owners. If you are going to promote your take away as one that offers gluten free at least have an area of the menu where I can see gluten free options. On a side note, the dude behind the counter who takes the orders needs to take a customer service course.

I get a lot of chineses, In fact I have a notepad rating all of them from 1-10. I get a chicken curry every time and lemon tree is the only Chinese I order from regularly, it’s a 9.5 out of ten from me the chips are great the curry is reasonably spicy and thick it’s all great. I can’t recommend enough for a Glasgow Chinese.
