Great food and very reasonable.

Called today and the person who answered the phone so un professional if I was them I would get shot of her never use her again

Used to be good then few months ago it became a terrible place. Chicken now sliced like mushroom slices and sauces disgusting. Lots of locals have stopped using it. Looks rundown inside and Cash Only written on door outside. Shame as i really did used to like this place

Beef chow mein with peking sauce is great

Very disappointed. They got our order wrong tonight and after we had put it on plates realised that it was cold. We wrang to arrange to pick up the missing chips after being asked on the phone to bring it back - well that is really not convenient so we reheated the food. Arrived to find out that they wanted back the prawn crackers. There were loud voices / arguing from the back and and after a ten minute delay I walked out wishing the folk in the queue to enjoy their meal but to check the order and ensure that they ask for it warm if that is their preference. Their approach to customer service is zero and we will not be back.

Terrible.Special birthday celebration ruined ,food poor,lukewarm,steak pie/Fish pie served with no pastry,bizarre,no explanation as to why.Shame because its a lovely place but will not be back

The food under the previous owner was rancid but seems to have improved considerably. No more undercooked rice and poorly cut vegetables. Good, reasonably priced Asian style cuisine.

Really happy with the food we’ve had from here. Very reasonably priced. Also nice that they give you freebies when you spend over a certain amount.

Love this local take away. Staff are always very friendly, food is always tasty and good portion sizes.

I ordered chicken fried rice it was covered in gravy i called her she said others like the so called gravy so i tried it it was disgusting so i called again for refund i got told DONT COME BACK very rude woman never again.

It's the usual fayre you expect from most Chinese take aways, but a bit tastier than most others.

Really nice, they have a website but it's not easy to find. They only take cash in the shop. However I have enjoyed the food and the quality seems to be up there.

I don't mean to be rude but basically paid 17 pounds for truly horrible food. I ate one bite and it went in the bin. Both me and my partner had a bad stomach after too. The Peking chicken was literally inedible and her prawns were vile and not The to mention she didn't even order prawn curry, she ordered a mushroom one. only reason it's 2 stars is the chips were decent. I don't know if we just got unlucky, would be willing to give it another go and perhaps I'll take away this review but it really was disgusting

Chinese food in Glasgow has changed lately, a lot of places wanting to cater to the chinese student population with more authentic dishes. If you want that chinese takeaway that you are more familiar with from growing up, this is the stuff.

Absolutely class chinese. Folk are nice and food is great. Cant ask for more.

Worked here as delivery driver whilst at College many years ago. It was very popular then as it is now. Like many takeaways in the West End there is a minimum order amount so Im ordering more just to get an order which is madness & very wasteful. The blue sky are willing to deliver just one meal which suits me great. I have tried several meals, my favourite being Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong style which is absolutely gorgeous. The order is always on time and the delivery guys always very pleasant.

Haven't used this place in a while under new management seems to be a lot better

New owners have taken over here,and have hopefully turned this ailing take away around, We had a tasty meal from there tonight.

since 1980 we have ordered food from the blue sky last week it was under new owners and as always we ordered our fav food as we have done once a week for all these years and the beef curry sauce was disgusting it was like the horrible packet stuff you can buy from a butchers the chicken chow mien was worse it tasted like no chicken we have ever encountered after this we decided before we placed an order if the curry sauce was this new sauce or had they gone back to our old time fav they said its our new recipe and I informed them it was horrible but they couldn't care less so no order was placed and we wont be using them ever again I checked out other local Chinese take away and I used my formula of reading ten reviews and if more than 50% are not positive within the last ten posted I dont use them and not one of the many in this area met my expectation's so in my opinion dont waste your money and these owners are not alone the previous owners who were only in control for a very short period watered down the curry sauce at the weekends so we never ordered unless it was on a Wednesday or Thursday it appears to be something creeping into Chinese take away these days same amount of ingredients higher volume of customers and make it go further a sad loss of a dear friend the blue sky shall be

Wouldn’t give it a star if I could. Only bought from here as it is close by, I won’t ever go back. Over cooked over salted, terrible terrible standard of Chinese cuisine. Rather travel to Byres road or Partick cross for takeaway. The food at Blue Sky is as bad as the shop front looks. Learned my lesson, too many chances given. Won’t ever be back! To many other great places to eat fresh...

Consistent British style Chinese food. Lots of selection and decent price. It has been here for years so must be doing something right! Friendly staff. Shame about the tatty sign - could do with a new lick of paint.

Hit and miss. Sometimes good, other times mediocre.

Third time I have used this take away and third time I have been short changed. My advice is to check the price on the menu and check your change!!!!
