First time using this chinese. I was really impressed chow mein was lovely.

i was an hour late to collect due to some children issues and they very kindly remade my order on the spot how fantastic a service is that what a superb place very highly recommend

my meal was absolutely disgusting, I did not enjoy it at all, the curry sauce was sparse and what there was of the sauce it was really salty, around 5 bits of chicken, waste of money

Food was delivered late, came warmish but the beef chow mein was so bland, zero flavour, was just the texture of noodles beef and grease! Won’t ever order again.small munchies box was three crisps attached to bone for ribs, chips wer like eating crisps, zero potato inbetween! Worst Chinese iv ever had I think!

Not the best but not the worst. I don't recommend their chicken chow mein but their chicken curry is nice.

Orderd a chicken curry with rice received a chicken rice no curry involved

Almost two hours wait, chips stone cold, rice congealed, had to reheat food. Very poor service. Should have asked for a refund but simply wont use again

Delivery time bad put in order phoned a hour later to be told getting made but would be another 20 mins cancelled rubbish service told it takes 1 and half hours for a delivery could have walked to the place and back in that time and I don't live that near to the place never again should have know better was in a few weeks a go and waited 45 min for take order not put into kitchen

Food took 2 hours to be delivered from time of ordering. Was cold when arrived. The shop should not be taking on orders of they can’t make the original delivery time. I called after 1.5 hours waiting and they said the driver was at the shop but they had not yet made it. Yet it still took 30 min longer.

Once again the food was lovely, only criticism is that the chips are never nice always end up throwing them out but in all the years of ordering from various restaurants I don’t think we’ve ever had good chips always very dry I just don’t understand why but the rest of the food was really nice and we enjoyed it, will definitely still order again 👍

The order arrived late and when we got it there were two items missing. They took another 30 minutes to arrive and one of them was not what we ordered

Food arrived 20 mins late which was an hour and a half all in from order placed but I think it had been out almost all that time, chips and rice were stone cold. The curry had more salt in it that curry powder, rotten! Don’t know what’s happened with this place but it’s went right down hill!

The meal we ordered was delicious and piping hot.The woman who delivered it was so nice.Just hoping the £4 delivery plus the exta service charge is just for xmas time as its not far from me.

40 minutes for a collection of snack box chips and noodles and started chicken satay. Disgusting. Chicken didn’t even appear like chicken and mushrooms in the noodles when I said no mushrooms. Really shocked. When the lady is not there, it’s the worst.

I know it’s a Saturday night but to wait just over 2 hours for a delivery is shocking! An hour and a half goes by since placing my order with delivery no where to be seen. Called the restaurant to be told it’s just being cooked waited a further 35 minutes to then receive my order so total 2hrs and 5 mins :( ruining my night

Didn’t read description properly so ended up with more than I thought which was a nice surprise everything would’ve been perfect as it was on time but my food was cold when it arrived which has let the score down. Never had this issue with this restaurant before so I would 100% recommend, if spice is your thing hot curry for sure👍🏻

I pre ordered it for it still to be late again was told the time is a guide for the restaurant not the customer even though it was me who set the time.

Some of the tubs were leaking with gravy everywhere which was a shame

The best breast Chicken curry sliced (hot) ever! Fresh chicken , perfect spice just amazing. i have tried so many nothing compared.

Delivery time advertised as 35/50 minutes. Took 2hours 20 minutes. Food is bad. Spring rolls are soggy, outside stuck to bag and ripped open so inside of them is just a mush loose in the bag. Curry is really oily and the chicken dry. No option to cancel and get a refund. Disgusted.

2 hours for the food to arrive is unacceptable and the biggest let down of this place is the manner of the person answering the phone, cheeky attitude and unhelpful. Such a shame the lady has no common decency or phone manner as manners cost nothing but it will reflect on your business and that’s a shame. Won’t be using or recommending this place again!

Delivery times are falsely advertised. Food took over 2 hours to arrive

Normally very very good food and service from ruby but this time it wasn’t up to the standards we are used to. All the chicken, chips and wings were very stale and chewy and the rice was quite hard. Curry sauce was also lukewarm. Disappointed considering the great food we have had previously

Got an email to say order delivered. Called as it wasn’t, was told hit wrong button and food wasn’t even cooked yet, when it should have been here. Attitude of person answering phone was disgraceful and very unhelpful

Over 2 hours for delivery, then all the food wasn't delivered and the driver had to come back out.

Just moved back to area and looking for a new Chinese , tried a few but weren’t great ! Tried here and honestly food is great , piping hot , fresh and great portions ! Definitely will be ordering again.

Visited our family here, as we're aren't from the area, food was delivered fairly quicker however the chips looked recooked and re heated and were hard. The sliced chicken dinner was dry and looked microwaved and my mother in-law had curly fries that were hard and cold. I ordered my father in law. cod and chips and got a fish cake dispite paying for a piece of cod. Such a shame as out in-laws have used these before and recommended us to eat here, won't again unfortunately. Our food wasn't too bad, just felt awful for my in-laws.

Ordered fried rice and curry sauce with salt n chilli chicken. I got sent rice & sauce with salt n chilli chips. Got my replacement salt n chilli chicken 45 mins later. Waste of money, rice was done way before chicken arrived. Whole meal ruined.

Beef chow mein had no taste at all it was so bland and only 3 bits of beef,the special curry had one tiny shrimp,a lot of money for bland food.Need to learn to cook ..so disappointed..

I think it's 20+ years we have been buying from Ruby, we have tried a few different ones and nope we always come back to Ruby, the food is great and staff are fantastic, imo the best Chinese around.

First time trying this Chinese, must say it was one of the best and defo my new go to 👏🏻 I even asked for something in notes and they happily done it for me. Ribs were the best I’ve tasted also! Top quality 5star will be ordering again.
