We visited Nandoâs during our trip to Edinburgh, and it was my parentsâ first time experiencing itâthey absolutely loved it! In fact, they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to come back for dinner a second time. A big shoutout to our server, Ethan, who was fantastic on both visits. My parents were genuinely impressed by his kindness and attentiveness. Thank you, Ethan, and the entire team at Nandoâs, for making our experience truly special!
I came in here with low expectations. The non-existent or lack of training from the waiters is embarrassing. As someone who has worked in this industry, you need to deliver basic customer service.
Visiting from out of country, been to a few nandos, and this one had the most friendly and outgoing staff. Great food, great atmosphere, amazing service
The night I went, none of the waiters spoke Spanish (not a big deal, either). I ordered some "Colombian" empanadas. Besides, they were poorly fried, had no potatoes or stew, were just meat, and didn't taste good. Besides, they were very expensive for what they are. The music was great.
I hope the staff have woken from their slumber by the time tourist season hits the Royal Mile. It wasn't even that busy with customers. Maybe 5 covers. We were acknowledged quickly with menus. đ We pointed out to them that something had been spilt on one if the chairs at our table. Nothing was done about it or even acknowledged. đ Then part of our order had been forgotten about. I had to chase this up. đThen the table next to us sat the entire time we had eaten, and drank... and used the restrooms before leaving and they still hadn't even had a menu put in front of them. đ€ŠââïžThey also had to chase them up.
The food itself was nice.đ (Albeit you're paying tourist royal Mile Edinburgh prices). So a bit of a shame really.
Could definitely do better.
For a 4 star I expected better. The staff were very welcoming but the rented apartment was cold, literally and figuratively and very poorly insulated. The heaters were not working. Sewage smells in the bathroom. The terrace at the back is used for storing rubbish of all kinds.
Positive points: close to the center, very spacious and top bedding!
A great spot to sit and people watch while having a point of ale đș. The staff are always friendly and helpful a pub with real Scottish atmosphere, love it
