Good food. Very long wait for it though!

We didn't know about this food chain, and it really surprised us! We ordered a dish to share: chicken with a light herb and slightly spicy sauce, accompanied with potatoes and mashed potatoes. The service was super good, we from Argentina did not know the service, and one of the girls heard us speaking Spanish and made an effort to explain to us, in Spanish, so super good and attentive. We ate well, the price we paid for it, which is notable for having refills of drinks, was approximately 35 pounds.

So the food was ok. We were a large group and ordered separately but there was orders which came out before ones that were ordered later. Also we were told that there was no broccoli but then the table at the end were given some they never even touched! There was no toilet paper in the majority of the female toilets

Nandos as a Mexican was one of the best discoveries. The food and service is top notch. But what gets the 5 stars is the SAUCE. As a Mexican, if you miss the taste of good grilled wings with really spicy sauce, this is your place. The menu is very varied and has all types of chicken, from grilled chicken, wings and fajitas. There are several types of sauce, but the medium sauce is very good but there are several spicier flavors in case you like something spicier. They have several types of sides ranging from classic chips, rice and Mac and cheese. Of which only the fries are the favorite.

Honestly I tried Nando's in 4 other countries and Nando's is my favorite place to eat but Edinburgh Nando's disappointed me. The chicken was dry, so dry that I almost choked. Everything else was good. The ambience and the people were very friendly.

I come to Nando’s all the time it’s one of the best places to eat in Scotland. The staff here is always amazing. It’s a place. I always Irecommend everyone to go. The food is always delicious and you can tell they take care of everything that they do here. Our server was Danica, Andy We’re super lovely and I hope Nando can recognize their hard work that they put into making this company what it is today such an amazing company

Service was great, waited only a couple of minutes to be seated. The food was great, I ordered the Spicy hummus which was nice, and then 5 hot wings with mac n cheese and garlic bread. Got served pretty quickly and the meals were both excellent. Wouldn’t go much more than « hot » for the wings, as I consider myself tolerant with the spiciness and they were right at the edge for me.

Loved the food and the staff's courtesy . They let us finish our food beyond 10pm their closing time.

Food was good, just took ages to arrive (over 25 mins) which isn't good during the Fringe, especially when there were only 5 tables with people when I ordered.

Very poor attitude to service and locals I had a table reserved on the 10th no issue Went into day to reserve for 4 people wouldn't take only for tables 20 or more for the month of August I advised re last Saturday and said that was wrong and from the 1st September happy to take bookings of 2 onwards EDINBURGH residents be aware they don't care about us at Fringe time but rely on us the 11 months Very very poor service after they had set a precedence

Was excited to dine her because its our favorite resto back in asia but it turned out horrible. Dry cold chicken and the peri peri taste is like out on top. Cheesy mac is dry as well and cold, taste like a boiled mac.

Friendly staff, with great service. Food was good. Dining area was cleaned regularly with tables wiped down and drinks area spotless. Customers using the toilets had trashed them which is on the customer the care people take for others property is lacking. Due to busyness the nando's staff didn't seem to get time to sort it.

We were a large group but had pre ordered. We didnt expect food to all come out together but some meals were very late. Friendly, polite staff. Chips luke warm and soggy, chicken burger with wild herb delicious, coleslaw tasted of vinegar.

Great at accommodating dietary restrictions. The first question they asked was if we had any allergies. Food was very tasty. The staff was happy to answer all of our questions and they had a book of all the ingredients in each meal on hand. Highly recommended.

The food at Nandos is usually very good but at this restaurant in particular the experience was not so good this time. The service was very delayed and one waitress was a bit rude. In the end one of the girls (the tall girl, with green eyes, glasses with dark hair) changed the potatoes that were cold and was very kind and changed the experience a little.

So good also you can refill stuff for free

Mashed potatoes was heated to the point that around the edges of the plate was completely inedible - it was burned and hard. The coleslaw was very vinegary, and not tasty.

The service was friendly, efficient and warm. That cannot be said for the food, however. Most of my meal was cold when it was served. Chicken thighs were shrivelled so had clearly been cooked earlier. Chips were cold too and my broccoli was undercooked, Disappointing.

Staff was super friendly and food was great. A little pricey but worth it.

I've been in the UK for nearly 5y and had never been to Nandos untill last night. I know Nandos is quite famous here but my experience was a disaster. It took them 30 min to bring my food! Just a simple chicken breast and few broccoli stems, and on top it did cost me almost 20 quid with soda. Outrageous. I will never to be back, ever!

The food took 40mins to come and then the desert took 30mune after being prompted

Well I was disappointed. It was overpriced, underwhelming dry chicken on dry bread. Even though several people were eating this, I personally couldn’t think why. I won’t return

Food was great, but staff were not so in this branch. The staff could be a bit more thoughtful. Taking away sauce bottles in the middle of having a meal; could at least ask before taking.

Very good. For starters we ordered some fried sweet potatoes that were very delicious, and for the main course we ordered chicken breast with salad and mashed potatoes. Good portion and price according to the place and the city. I recommend.

Nice restaurant. Food was very nice. Had a lovely burger was a bit slow but wasn't terrible. Bathroom was horribly messy though definetly need work. We did have to wait around 15 mins to have a seat because we "couldn't reserve for a group under 5" but overall was fine. Would come back but probably won't.

Manager was incredibly helpful on a day where they had high demand and my order got held up for 45mins. I got both my food, and a full refund. Amazing service and great people.

We were a large group with 35 students, and no prior reservation. The members of staff were very accommodating and service was quite fast.

Amazing grilled chicken and spicy sauces, much much better than KFC so the real finger licking good 😋whenever I go to UK I try to eat in Nando’s at least once as there is no Nando’s in the Netherlands. Hope they open here soon

The lack of service and professionalism is outrageous, the restaurant took a booking of 35 people and were extremely rude about seating us (table of 4) due to lack of staff, even though the rest of the restaurant was empty. The host Nika was extremely sarcastic and the manager Aman was extremely unprofessional, they told us to leave the restaurant as we needed to wait until the booking was finished! This is outrageous, if you cannot staff a booking of 35 whilst running the rest of the restaurant to the public, you shouldn’t take the booking!

Rude staff, awful service, what an absolute joke... Hygiene 0 - staff not wearing hair nets in the kitchen Can't seat people because staff dont feel "relaxed" even though there are empty tables... The expectation is to stand in the cold doorway with our luggage. What a manager - well done Aman

Staff are disgustingly rude. Cannot seat a table for 4 as staff need to be “relaxed” and “calm down” before seating people even if the restaurant is empty. We were told to stand at the door with our luggage and not be seated until they are ready. Nika was extremely rude by looking me up and down and very patronising when we left by saying she will “take us off the wait list”. The manager Aman was also very rude and did not care to be helpful or polite.

As always the food at nandos was class, but what really stood out to me today was the next level service we received from Hannah. She went above and beyond to make our experience extra special, even gifting us with a wee takeaway hot sauce! Nandos are lucky to have you Hannah 😂

Popped in after an evening walk and the place was quiet (around 8pm) but I think it's pretty hectic during the day so it was a nice surprise to have a quiet meal. The new Garlic Churrasco burger (with added halloumi 😋) with a side of macaroni cheese was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had in Nandos and the staff were superb, helping charge my phone too! Top marks all round 👍

This is an honest review. As ive seen alot of people overhyping nandos. As someone who knows people and has visited South Africa multiple times. I suggest if you want the real, authentic taste of South African Nandos. Go visit South Africa and try it for yourself, because it doesn't compare. Compared to it the food was not as flavoured or moist. Especially the chicken livers. Also, I'm not saying the customer service is bad by any stretch. It's great for UK standards they were friendly and welcoming. But South Africa will tend to you above and beyond. Taking the receipt and bill to you and providing sweets at the end of you meal. In conclusion, This Nandos is pretty good for a UK nandos. But in the end it's not authentic and South Africa is better. But the vibe and music is spot on there was alot of songs my girlfriend recognised. My girlfriend from South Africa was extermely disappointed and it reminds her of apartheid. But i don't think it was that bad, and she's usually pretty dramatic when it comes to reviews. She watches married at first sight. Which says it all really.

Located in the heart of Edinburgh, sometimes you just need to go where you know what to expect. After a day's walking round the city, in the winter cold; Nandos was just what the doctor ordered. The service was brilliant, food was tasty and served promptly. It was so good that I went again the next night!

We arrived after a city tour but 15 minutes before the restaurant’s kitchen closing. The staff were amazing, the food was great. They stayed past closing time for us to finish. Possibly the tastiest Nando’s we’ve had in a while and we are Nando’s experts. Thank you Nando’s Edinburgh- you were gracious hosts.

I need some of these in the US. So efficient, food was incredible. Took a little time for it to come out but patience is a virtue for good food. Sauces are put out. Only criticism is the salt doesn’t come out of any of the shakers - we tried.

Le voy 4 por EDEN porque la otra chica rubio que es un poco morena de piel muy mal pero muy mal no nos quería atender y nos dijo que teníamos que esperar 35 o 45 min y le dijimos okey esperamos y nos dijo pero seguro vais a esperar tanto como si no quisiera que nos quedaríamos y nos fuimos después volvemos a entrar y edén nos vio por qué ella vio todo y nos sentó en menos de 5 min en una mesa y nos atendió genial y fue super amable en todo momento desde que entramos hasta que salimos porque si es por la otra....
