Got the half and half chicken. Both rice's were amazing. If I had to pick one id go with jollof. I tried my partners goat and it was delicious. So if I came back I would get the jollof goat. Had the wings starter which was juicy and tasty! Staff were friendly and helpful to our questions regarding the menu. Would come back!

Me and my partner sat in wanting to try traditional Nigerian food. Obviously had no idea what I wanted so went on recommendations. I had the beef suya to start and the goat meat jollof. Absolutely phenomenal. The goat was like butter just fell apart. I would highly recommend! Also had the equivalent of Nigerian buckfast...aka palm wine. Sweet and easy to drink. Added bonus was the songs from the 2000's!

First time trying Nigerian food in Edinburgh since I’ve been craving the egusi soup and fufu even though I haven’t actually tried it before. ( seen in on TikTok) The food was sosososososos food I had egusi with hard chicken and it came with pounded yam. It was just as good as I’ve expected it to be. The staff was so kind and attentive and polite and he was giving me good recommendations. I highly recommended this place and I would come back again !

Really good food, EXCELLENT palm wine, terrific service, and I really liked the ambiance. It's a nice place, quiet enough to have a pleasant conversation, good lighting. We ordered the moin moin and jollof rice with hard chicken. One order of each was enough for two people. The server was very attentive and made sure we knew what portion sizes to expect and that the chicken is "hard" chicken, a different breed of Nigerian chicken. The sauce is really nice on the chicken, too. The service was really good, much better than the service at some $$$$ places. Speaking of prices, the food here is on the expensive side, but since some of it is imported from Nigeria (especially the drinks) and they're on Leith Walk, it's about what I expected. The palm wine, served in a big jug with a small wooden bowl to sip from, is worth it, though, and the palm wine and plantains were definitely the highlights for me.

The food was very nice, had that distinct buka taste. My friends and I had amala and Abula. I particularly prefer if the meat is put as one or two instead of being cut into tiny pieces. The food did take long to arrive but the guy who attended to us was extremely nice; he practically forced us to add a review but we didn’t mind because he was graceful about it. He also gave my wee boy a drink afterwards; quite bad I can’t remember his name but I’ll definitely be back because of him.

I had Abula and I was shocked! I didn't know what to expect as I came into Edinburgh from London for work. I googled Nigerian restaurant and this place came. I honestly just gambled. The Abula was so yummy. They were so generous with meat. The service was top notch. Well done.
