If you’re craving authentic Nigerian food that hits all the right notes, look no further than Uwagboe’s Kitchen & Grill! I ordered the Efo Riro soup with Eba, and it was nothing short of incredible. The flavors were rich, bold, and deeply comforting just like home. The Efo Riro was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the vegetables were fresh and tender. It was so good that I couldn’t help but order an extra portion of Eba. Yes, it was that good! With every bite, I felt like I was right back in Nigeria, enjoying a homemade meal straight from mama’s pot. To top it all off, my waiter Ranga was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. This spot is a gem. Great portions, fast service, and a taste that brings back memories. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Walking into Uwagboe’s Kitchen and Grill felt like stepping into a beloved family kitchen back home. The warm greeting, the smell of spices in the air, and the sound of laughter and Afrobeat music created the perfect atmosphere even before the food arrived. But the food… oh, the food is where the magic truly happens. I came in specifically craving Abula, and let me tell you—it was an experience. The moment that steaming plate was set in front of me, I knew I was in for something special. The amala was perfectly soft and stretchy, just the way it should be. The ewedu was smooth and flavorful, and the gbegiri had that deep, rich taste that only comes from someone who really knows how to cook it right. And the assorted meats? Tender, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. I’ve eaten Abula at a number of places, but this was hands down the best I’ve had outside Nigeria. It wasn’t just about the taste—it was the authenticity. It brought back memories of family gatherings and Sunday afternoons in Lagos. You can tell the chef is not just cooking; they’re sharing part of their culture, and it shows in every bite. While Abula was the highlight, everything else I tried—from the jollof rice to the suya—was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The service was also fantastic. The staff, Rangah😎, made me feel right at home, checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. Uwagboe’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a cultural experience, a culinary homecoming. If you’ve ever loved Nigerian food, or if you’re curious and want to try it the way it’s meant to be done, this is the place. I’ll absolutely be back. And next time, I’m bringing friends.

The Indian waiter (didn’t catch his name) is one of the best waiters I’ve ever been served by. He was very proactive and polite. He’s definitely going places with his great attitude. Food was really good too.

food are nice, we tried fish egusi was a really nice fish dish slightly spicy and seasoned well, chill plater was okay like a standard grill plater and half and half jollof rice with beef was nice as well, they seasoned it very balance. but the food took awhile to cook, so just keep that in mind, if you are really hungry and don’t have the patient, might not be the right place to go.
