We had a wee snack after our Highland Safari. The cauliflower cheese soup was delicious. The cheese scone and the fruit scone also quite lovely as well. Everyone was super nice in the café.
We visited here several times previously before the present owners took over. Sadly, women I visited today the place has changed.Only three diners in house, but the staff did not say hello or ask if they could help.i left without a word. The items on offer seem fewer than previously and it seemed to lack the atmosphere we once enjoyed
Another wonderful visit to the Watermill! My family enjoyed the soup, filled rolls, toasted filled croissant, chocolate cake and the best coffee around! Friendly and efficient service with delicious fresh food in a unique setting - simply wonderful, highly recommend!
They moved in to serve meals at Elderslie Golf Club but not up to the standards of previous catering company's. Not been in the clubhouse for over three months but have no intentions of eating there again.
We've wanted to return here since we first visited 10 years ago. Wow, hasn't it changed! I had memories of a few outside tables and being reliant on the weather. Now there's a purpose built dining area (still has a little way to go, especially with the heating!) and table service. What hasn't changed is the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the food - just lovely. Had the seafood platter for 2, what a feast. 6 hours later it resulted in a very small snack tea.
A destination place, but one we'll travel to again.
Good food overlooking the marina in croabh haven. The menu had lots to choose from and staff were very helpful. Be careful to check opening times especially out with high season.
Popped in for a handy quick brunch before checking into our hotel, food amazing, sadly didn't get to try a filled cookie but looked yum, such quirky decor, and their flat white is to die for, visited every morning for our coffee fix
Recomendaría las tartas picadas, especialmente al
¡Navidad! ¡Horneando en el viejo mundo! Un verdadero placer para mi esposa y para mí venir de Canadá para la graduación de nuestra hija en la Universidad de Edimburgo.
It was cold weather and after the lunch, we wanted a coffee. So, we went to The Old Pier and two young women who worked there hated their job.
We entered inside, no greetings, no smile no welcome feeling. We ordered our coffees for takeaway and the young lady who made coffee was the same. Not even eye contact. My husband ordered extra hot late but got warm one.
We ate gorgeous food, next to an open fire and were greeted like old friends by staff who made us feel so welcome. Really good value for lovely food in a venue that we could have stayed in all day. Make sure you visit this one.
Found this restaurant on a drive in the country. Located adjacent to a holiday park . Great menus to suit most people. Staff are friendly service is swift. Food cooked to order and presented attractively. Tasted as good as it looked. Duck tacos were definitely a hit. Would recommend.
