The Waterfront At Coyle Water Fishery - Restaurant and Cafe Ayrshire in East Ayrshire

First-time visitors. We both had haddock and chips, which were really full of flavour. The service was excellent and the staff were very polite. Excellent surroundings.

Decent meals (apart from a foreign body in the pasta sauce) and marred by inattentive staff (clearing tables maybe not in their job description, nor regular toilet checks). Could be a beautiful setting.

Food was lovely. Service excellent very friendly as was the atmosphere. Lovely sunny day overlooking the lakes and the fishermen.

Can't fault it... relaxed cafe with decent home cooked breakfast at decent prices. Dog friendly and husband was happy watching people fish out of the window!

I came here with my wife and her uncle he's been coming here for a long time and I must say that this place is amazing the food is amazing we will be back there soon I had the steak pie with sausages and mashed potato and veg see my pictures the wife had a cheese steak Philly baguette salad as well she loved it my daughter and son-in-law cajun chicken burger and spaghetti bolognese❤️👍☕🍽️

This is 100% the best breakfast in the area by far! And if you haven’t tried the Scotch Sirloin of beef on a Sunday then you are severely missing out!! You won’t get better in any 5 star restaurant! It’s only £12.95 as well! Well done the Waterfront 👌👏👏👏👏

Went fishing here, nice little lake teeming with trout. Had a sandwich and a cuppa sat outside watching other fishermen trying their luck. There is a proper cafe here too and the food smelled lovely and if the sausage and bacon roll I had is anything to go by will taste good too.

Nice place for food and hot drinks, very scenic.

I was with a group of friends for lunch and no complaints the food was beautifully cooked and tasty this is a good place I had previously been with my wife and two friends for coffee and we had an very good visit I can recommend this.

A very pleasant place. Two breeding ponds where you can fish for salmon and trout. A restaurant with delicious coffee and a large selection of cakes. If you're lucky, you'll get a table on the veranda, overlooking the ponds and fish jumping out of the water.

The food is great, service friendly and fairly quick. Nice view of the fishing lake which shares the grounds of the restaurant.

This was my first time here. I had not idea about it. It is such a lovely setting. The menu is quite big and the food we ordered was all great. I had a Philly cheesesteak. There are lots of cakes to choose from at the entrance. Out the back is lovely sitting area with a view across the lake. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Nice location, and plenty of parking. Food was good, although fish and strawberries do not make for good bed fellows. Service was great and attentive (thanks), and the atmosphere was nice with great views of the fishing Loch, ideal if you're not into fishing but you want to come along with someone who is.

Been here a couple of times and can't fault both times I've been here. The food is reasonably priced and always lovely and fresh. The waitresses are friendly and nothing seems to be too much. Will be back again the next time I'm up this way

Cracking place. Cannot fault it for the food, location or service. Food is top notch and I think locally sourced, (but even if it isn't, it's awesome). Seriously worth a visit if you're in the area

Lovely location and although we were originally told they were fully booked another staff member jumped in to find our small party a table straight away! Meals were lovely, desserts looked amazing but we're honestly not as good as they looked. All three of us would come back for the tempura tomorrow though!!!

Lovely relaxing atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and a kids play park.. Would recommend the pan fried trout ..fair pricing enough on the plate.

The food is delicious, the staff are wonderful, great views, ( especially if you are sitting alfresco, but not today, its blowing a hooley, and chucking it down !! ) what more can I say .... just nip in for yourself ... if you're looking for something a wee bit different 😁

It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside and watched them fishing. The setting is lovely, the pond surrounded by lush green grass, very picturesque. Food is good too, filled rolls etc, perfect for lunch.

Went out if their way to provide excellent service. Meal beautifully well presented and delightful. Worth a further visit for another treat from the menu.

Lovely views and staff were nice, but food was average but probably the right price.

Unfortunately table was reserved over looking the water so we were further in the restaurant but lovely all the same. Food was of good quality and tasty. We attended for lunch and became rather busy so staff became abit under pressure but again managed well will defo be back

Haven't been here for a long time not as busy as used to be. Food acceptable I had baked potato with tuna cheese melt. Large potato could have done with more filling. My husband had steak and sausage pie. Plenty veg mash and pastry again could have done with more meat. Staff pleasant enough, table not wiped over. Large menu choice and nice selection of cakes.

Took the 2 boys fishing for the first time here. All the staff was excellent. Help the 2boys with there rods and they cought 5 fish each. They loved every minute of it 😁

Lovely peaceful little place staff are lovely and friendly, place is spotless very clean, food is cooked to perfection, we come here every time we're in ayr,or as a stop off when we're going on holiday, great variety of foods on offer, very spacious lots of lovely cakes to choose from always spoiled for choice, we end up taking cakes away with us for later looking forward to breakfast on Sunday

This is an amazing little cafe! Well worth a visit. It sits a little way back from the main road but its an excellent find. Located next to a beautiful little fishery, the cafe is a good size and boasts a conservatory area and veranda where you can watch the fishermen at work. The food is incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

They make macaroni they serve it everyday and they also have cajun spices but for some reason the chef can only be bothered to make cajun macaroni when it suits him 🤔 pointless, I would see the point if I was asking for something new or something they didnt have to be made makes no sense 👎

Four of us had coffee and cakes which was very good it is a very nice clean area and realy good outlook they also do lunch which has a good selection

This was a pleasure to visit for a meal, food outstanding staff super effiencent, and prices i have not seen anywhere else,location excellent so relaxed,,we will be back, and we look forward to our next visit..i recommend ,after our visit on sunday..especially the rainbow trout my husband had,,10 out of ten.
