This is a fabulous family-run tea room. Delicious food, a fabulous location with a working water mill, and friendly staff. We loved our lunch and bought amazing sourdough bread and shortbread to enjoy later in the day! Thank you. It's definitely worth visiting.

Lovely location, both inside and out. Bread is delicious and worth taking away a loaf or two. Staff busy but friendly. Cafe food came quickly despite a queue ; but overpriced, A ham roll, buttered on one side and a decent slice of ham £5.50. A small bowl of veg soup, two basic rolls and 2 hot drinks, £23. £16 would have been good value, £18 tops, I appreciate there were lots of staff and other costs, but easy to add to the offer at minimal costs. Would return for a loaf, but go elsewhere to eat.

We had been advised that the Watermill was a good place to stop for a lunch or coffee and cake. There was plenty parking and we saw the outside seating area for people with dogs or just eating outside. Inside was fairly small but we were lucky to get a table. There were plenty on the menu to choose from and also specials on a large board. We ordered filled croissants and toasties which came with side salad and crisps ( sadly they were out of crisps but they were deducted from the price) Coffee was lovely. Staff were friendly and we could see flour, oatmeal and muesli for sale as it’s a working mill. I would recommend this lovely cafe as a great stop in the lovely village of Blair Atholl.

This is a beautiful and interesting place. The menu and the food are excellent and the service is both friendly and efficient. It is good to see so many local ingredients and, of course all that are made with their own flour. It's just a pity the Watermill doesn't open all year.

We stopped on our way to holiday for an early lunch. In retrospect we were lucky we were early or would have struggled to get a table. I had a smoked salmon platter that was absolutely delicious. Generous portion of salmon and cream cheese and beautiful bread (butter would have been nice). The coffee was good although I was not impressed with the cake. A lovely spot and a welcome break. The chap that served us was friendly and would happily return if we were in the area.

Wheelchair access carpark bay, but no access. There is a wooden platform that could be easily adapted. Non friendly service to come outside to offer any service to a wheelchair user and lady with limited mobility. You have to go inside to order, which is unpractical if you can not get inside. They is benches outside but no offer of service to this. We were also hoping to buy bagels/ bread. It’s a historic building but they need to make provision for service to ALL people, this requires then to find creative solutions, like a staff member coming outside with a menu and list of item they sell. Taking the ordered and payment in the covered outdoor area. Also providing information board about the building outside. Lastly the wheelchair bay is shared with cycle racks, that’s very redefines stupid. Definitely not recommend.

Read several review on the Watermill Bakery before coming here. An old watermill with a bake shop attached. The mill was not running as the water was low. However, the tiny bake shop was crowded! We grabbed a small table as some others were leaving. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. A wonderful tomato bisque and sandwiches with bread to die for. Of course, the mill grinds the wheat to make the flour....you get the idea. We also bought some shortbread cookies for the road - they were terrific. There is ample parking and a level walk to the bake shop. There are about 5 steps to climb in order to enter.

Lovely old water mill which still produces flour (when there is enough water), lovely outside sitting area too. Had lovely cuppa with chocolate tiffen which was very good, my husband had a beef roll also very good and my sister had a delicious cheese scone.

In town centre parking all around.Served quickly and friendly. Nice menu we both opted for the steak pie. Which didn’t disappoint tasted delicious and good portion size. We even greater ourselves to pudding - sticky toffee to be exact served with ice cream - absolutely delicious.£25 for 2 x 2 courses and soft drinks good value.Defo recommend.

The location, the restaurant, the staff and the food are all excellent. My partner and I had a truly wonderful Sunday lunch and each dish (cheese souffle, John Dory and blueberry pana cotta) worthy of 10 out of 10. scores. My only concern is that the 25% increase in the price may deter future customers.
