Fantastic authentic Indian food.
I highly recommend the "bone in" curry's.
I visited India many moons ago and this place takes me flying back.
Great service also.
Thanks Dangal!
Wonderful little cafe, the breakfast was amazing. The haggis and lorne being standouts. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating.
Looking forward to visiting again next time I’m in Moffat.
We visited this lovely local pub whilst holidaying in the local area. We watched the rugby one evening then visited the following evening for dinner. We felt welcomed, and the food was delicious.

The restaurant has a beautiful room with a view of nature if you're facing the right way. The prosciutto pizza was good but relatively expensive (£18 or more than €20). The menu prices, however, already include the service charge. I liked the little blackboard with our name on the table (for reservations) it's a nice idea/attention. A few hiccups in the service, however (bad beer, glass of water that never arrived, etc.)
Quality service..excellent food .When wifey misinterpreted mushrooms as mussels..not a problem. Sea food was super also Mrs roast. Fault free. Get along. Would recommend and we will definitely return 😀
Bobs curry and the tempura mushrooms were great, burger was very dry and more smash burger than burger.
1 of the Waitresses doesn't listen to the full information when ordering for burger to be made plain but witg bbq sauce on it - comes out and asks again what we ment by plain then brings burger dry no sauce, and talks about other customers whilst we're sitting in ear shot.
We had planned on having desert but due to lack of correct info and the way the 1 Waitresses was acting we decided to cut it short and leave.
Very busy, which is usually a good sign. However, 20 minutes after we sat down we were offered drinks and to give the food order. 10 minutes later the drinks arrived, minus one of the drinks ordered. It was still busy, with only two staff serving, and they did apologise about the delay. The food was good, nothing standout about it, apart from the lack of wilted greens with the seafood special. By this stage we’d lost the will to complain.
Having lived at the campsite over 20 years ago, I was excited to go to the cafe and see how it had changed. I left very disappointed
The outside of the building was drab and badly in need of a paint. We walked in to the cafe and most of the tables were covered in dirty plates and cups. From half way to the counter a young girl informed us loudly that they were no longer serving food (around 3pm) and we could only have take out coffee but no choice of milk (only looking for semi skimmed too !) The toilets were all empty of toilet roll and not particularly clean.
It was a hive of industry a few years ago with a lovely shop too. I won't be in a rush to go back.
