Busy, live music, band were really good, bar a bit small but really busy, good atmosphere.

Adorable salon de thé très bien décoré, cosy, avec une service rapide, du bon thé, et de délicieux scones ! J'ai même céder à la tentation d'un sablé fourré à la confiture à emporter après avoir réglé ma note.

My wife and i enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the Abbey Cottage today. The afternoon tea consisted of freshly made sandwiches of your choice , fruit or plain scone with clotted cream and jam and a choice of different sponge cakes along with a pot of tea. It may be advisable to book the afternoon tea in advance as we did. The Abbey Cottage has all the best attributes of a traditional tea room The staff were welcoming , conversational and friendly. The premises were very clean. The food itself was a treat. There is a convenient car park behind the cottage which also serves as the car park for the ruin of Sweetheart Abbey which is next to the cottage. In addition to the tearoom the cottage also has a shop selling locally produced goods. The Abbey cottage is very much worth visiting if you are in the area.

What a fantastic little cafe. Friendly and welcoming and great food. Staff were always polite even though they were super busy. We went 5 or 6 times over the 4 days we were here. Perfect stop in between walks around the Lochs etc. definitely need to go there if you’re visiting the village.

Compré una caja de selección como regalo, tengo que decir que las rosquillas sabían a pan de 2 días frito en aceite de 3 días. Básicamente ninguno de ellos se parecía a las imágenes de su sitio web, la rosquilla de terciopelo rojo estaba lejos de lo que se suponía que debía ser. No creas en la publicidad, se trata de donuts mediocres que se venden con un nombre de moda y tiendas de aspecto de moda, obtendrás mejores donuts a un mejor precio comprando una caja de selección de Krispy Kreme. Le echaría de menos, un montón de fantásticas cafeterías independientes / pastelerías por todo Glasgow.

Lovely view of the sea from the upstairs restaurant area. Great service from the young ladies. Nice music playing while you eat. Fair prices.Good classic pub grub.

Battered scallops, calamari and a crab sandwich. All delicious. Turned a soggy day into a treat. I love seafood but this place is really special and I would recommend a detour to visit.

Smallest cocktail ever for £11. Pint of lager over £5 . Rip off for the cocktail . Better places with better prices . We would have had dinner but didn't want to pay same again so left .

Originally went to Piecebox to visit (outwith normal hours) to deliver stuff for Ukraine so decided to follow up one day when I was in the area during normal hours for coffee and cake. Coffee was excellent and the cake delicious but I think the service was a little under par (shortage of staff perhaps ?) . . . .but still OK.

Hotel agradable, tradicional, de calidad en el borde de la ciudad en una ubicación tranquila. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia y lo recomendaría. Personal agradable, habitaciones cómodas y áreas públicas con un montón de pedazos locales

The area is a bit small if you want to eat on site, but it's good enough for a snack👌

Hoy, un sábado ocupado, el servicio era bueno estábamos sentados en el mejor bar. La cocina era rápida y la comida generosa y atractiva. El menú muestra 6 secciones más otra para 4 o más comensales. La cosa es la salsa de especias fuerte utilizada con cada plato estará encima para algunos. Quería un curry simple pero nunca encontré uno. Los bollos de leche son buenos, no hay postres en la lista. Mi vino blanco Vermentino muy agradable, al igual que la cerveza Budvar.

Great food as always. Good value for money. Highly recommended. It is cash only for anyone who hasn’t been. This is now our regular chippy
