We head the most delightful lunch at Dangal! We had amazing service and the entire experience was 10/10. :) we had the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, and plain and garlic naan.

Really lovely place with great food, attentive service and authentic atmosphere. The portions were a good size and the food was amazing! Would recommend a visit :)

Absolutely amazing food and portions size were sufficient enough to share . Naan bread was light and not like a dough . Would definitely recommend and come again . Thank you very much to Habibi for outstanding service he couldn’t do enough for us .

We have ordered takeaway from Dangal several times before but we ate in the restaurant tonight for a family meal. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the food is always great. I've never had an issue with the good they serve, all are clearly marked for vegetarians and vegans and they are more than happy to help answer any questions and make sure you're satisfied with your meal. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again soon

We visited Dangal in May 2024 during a visit to Edinburgh. Habib looked after us and made a real fuss of our young son. He advised us really well, and even suggested we ordered less than we intended to! He was absolutely right, as the portions were very generous. The food was really delicious and there were some really interesting choices on the menu (as well as the standard Indian takeaway options). Habib even brought my son an ice cream at the end of the meal as a treat! We had a lovely evening and if we lived locally we would most definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Really enjoyable meal out with the family. Great food and we were very well looked after by our host Habib. The food was excellent, the best curry we've had for a while. Our boys rated it as their best Indian meal ever. The service was excellent and we felt very well looked after. Bonus ice cream for the boys at the end went down particularly well. It was amazing food and dining experience. Nice location and nice ambience. This has been my first time and loved the taste. Dal Makhani is recommended.

Lo raccomando a tutti gli italiani che sono stufi dei soliti piatti della cosiddetta cucina Scottish. Una scelta casuale dovuta alla vicinanza dell'albergo ma molto fortunata. Uno dei migliori ristoranti indiani dove abbia mangiato. Non fatevi ingannare dalle apparenze, è una piccola "trattoria" dall'aspetto modesto ma la cucina è davvero di qualità superiore. E il prezzo vi sorprenderà.

Amazing food, amazing service - best curry in Edinburgh. Abib was a great server too, very attentive and great company. Our eyes are bigger than our bellies and we ordered too much food, and although he warned us that it was too much, he kindly packaged the rest up to go at the end without saying too many ‘I told you so’s’. Small quiet indian restaurant. Open continually from lunch time Fri Sat and Sun which was what we were looking for. Parking on the street at weekend and before 4 or after 6.30 Fri.

Cold plates, Having to ask for our drinks 3 times and there was only one other table in so no excuse. Chicken very tough and rice overcooked and looked like it had been mixed in with older rice and was extremely lumpy. No sauce with one of the courses even though we were told they would be. After almost 5 mins of trying to get the waiters attention, when we enquired about the sauce, was asked what sauce I would like… Overall extremely disappointed with the service and quality of what was supposed to be healthy food. Unfortunately would not recommend here which is a shame as I like to support small businesses like this.

Great spot for authentic indian food. Every meal we had was absolutely fantastic, all well seasoned. I had the mixed grill and it was fantastic. Also great personnel, everyone was very friendly and our waiter took care that we were happy during our dinner. Thanks a lot for the great evening.

Wir waren als Familie auf einer Schottland Reise und haben dieses Restaurant am letzten Abend besucht. Alle Speisen waren hervorragend, genauso wie der Service. Ich habe hier das beste Chicken Korma und Sag Aloo gegessen, welches mir je auf meinen Reisen begegnet ist. Unser Sohn hatte eine vegetarische Hauptspeise, welche in seinen Augen die perfekte Schärfe hatte. Wenn wir wieder in Edinburgh sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

L and I visited for a dinner to celebrate the end of our fasting diet. We had heard good things but weren’t sure what to expect. We found the best Indian restaurant in Corstorphine! We both had grilled meats for our dishes and they were expertly spiced and cooked. Everything was light as well as fulfilling and we couldn’t find fault. We can recommend this place highly enough - it’s definitely our go to local Indian restaurant from now on! Thanks so much to Habib and the rest of the crew for making this evening so enjoyable!

Fabulous selection of food with a tapas style menu also, we had lots of small dishes with dessert and the food was delicious! It’s also a BYOB which is great if it’s near the end of the month and money is tight
