Lots of options available and the waitress was really nice. I had the bianca pizza which was amazing and my husband

First visit to this delightful Italian restaurant. Made welcome as soon as the threshold was crossed and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly cheerful staff who worked there. The food was delicious and moderately priced and another first was finding an Italian hostelry that actually had draught beer as well as bottled . All requests were promptly dealt with and just for the record.......the very BEST Tiramisu I have ever tasted ! Another visit is definitely on the cards.

The best pizza dough in Glasgow. Good choice of toppings, light, fresh delicious. Looks huge (12 inch) but we could both eat all of it, even after it had cooled down. Also, unusually, no trace of heartburn after the meal despite the added fresh chillies to the Marguerita. The ice cream was so delicious that I couldn't face adding the espresso to make it an affogato! Relaxed and friendly service as well. £30 a head including a bottle of red wine plus service.

Lovely pizza, spoilt by being evasive and misleading with the wine measure, and pricing. Put it on the Menu!!!

We had a very disappointing visit to Baffo today. Group of 6 family members. Phoned in morning to book, then phoned again to confirm numbers as requested. Seated and asked to order drinks. Only 2 other tables occupied. Looked over menu and all chose main courses. Only then were we told there was no pasta/ gnocchi dishes available. We had all chosen pasta/ gnocchi! As we all now had drinks it was a bit awkward to leave. We had driven in from Bearsden specially and could have selected countless alternative pasta restaurants, but I had eaten there many times and recommended it to our family. Feel it was unfair not to have been informed on the phone when booking/ and or on arrival that there was a restricted menu. The waitress whilst not unpleasant was nonchalent and verging on unhelpful. We noticed as other people arrived that they were not told about the menu either until they were at the point of ordering. Also had run out of certain desserts and they were unapologetic about this too. The unavailable desserts then appeared on our bill even though the waitress said they had been removed…?! Very poor and disappointing. Not at all the usual standard. Is it different owners? When leaving we noticed a menu on the window with the pasta/ gnocchi dishes scored out- but who stands on the street looking at a menu if you have a table already booked…? There were also adverts on the window for pasta: pizza chefs so why not be upfront with potential diners and let them choose whether to go elsewhere before/ as soon as they arrive….? Obviously not wanting to lose bookings! Also, the music was too loud and not pleasant.

I visited this place on a Saturday evening and had an unpleasant experience. We arrived and immediately met with a female member of staff who was most confused about wether we could come in to eat when there was clearly tables available. We then got seated and were immediately bombarded asking what drinks we wanted without even having a chance to sit down. Shortly after we were then asked what we wanted to order, we hadn’t decided/looked at the menu yet because we were talking so then asked for some more time. The menu was pretty much in full Italian and so we were sitting trying to look up what everything was. We were then asked again, still trying to figure out what we wanted and the female member of staff again pushed us to order because they ‘were so busy and needed tables soon’ Even though they don’t take bookings! We just quickly ordered Margherita pizza as we had no idea still what anything was- humiliated. I wouldn’t go back to this place again. Your better off going to paesano pizza- better food, cheaper and they have decent staff

We met my Aunty for lunch in here on Sunday with our two small children. The food was really good and we were made to feel so welcome. I think this is a good place for family meets. Excellent place for some food after Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Thank you

In a word - disorganised.Reception appeared to be a part time/'when I have time' job, the dining area merged in to the working area around the kitchen (not quite the same ambience), drinks menu - didn't actually see one! Pizza was quite good but there is quite a lot of competition in Glasgow for a good pizza now. Service varied from good/helpful to not so good.... There is definitely potential but I would need to be persuaded to come back for another visit.

A trip to Glasgow is not complete until we have dined at Baffo!!We used to visit Paesano regularly until my Husband came across this gem last year!!It is located across from the Kelvingrove museum and is always busy so I would recommend booking ahead of time. Tonight we brought our relatives from Sicily and they were greatly impressed, The Metro sized pizza is a sight to behold and is most definitely insta worthy as the kids put it!We went for the Cacio E Pepe, The Cafone, The Incazzata, Gnocchi Formaggio and The Famous Col Baffo..It is a family run restaurant and you can definitely tell as they put so much love into their food, The prices are extremely reasonable and the ambience is nice and relaxed. The servers were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. The Nutella Pizza and Stracetti Baffo were the desserts of choice and they did not disappoint!!The coffee is top notch also. All in all another fantastic family meal at Baffo.

We had a great family dinner here whilst visiting Glasgow. The pizzas were some of the best we’ve ever eaten, and the antipasto platter was sensational. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Poor service and soggy pizza, simple. The worst pizza I have ever been served, would have been better with the deep fried version out the chippy next door, that’s how bad it was. Service was interesting, table next to me treated with care, can I get you oil, how is everything, the correct service. Me, nothing but an absolutely awful pizza, if they had asked, I would have informed them. No doubt the restaurant can serve good food in the correct manner but unfortunately I didn’t receive any of that. Wish I had never went and glad that I will never be back.

Really enjoyed our meal here. We ordered a large pizza to share between my wife and I. Being directly across the street from the Kelvingrove Museum, it was very handy! Wood fired pizza, generous serving (we could not finish our pizza) and a nice atmosphere - couldn’t ask for a better lunch!

Absolutely fantastique (I can say that because I am cultured and well travelled). First of all, I decided to go for a cheeky lunch (nothing too heavy, but yet again nothing too light) and I ordered the milano tondo pizza and it was out. Of. This. World. The sugo was tantalisingly tasty, the marscapone could not have been creamier and the salami was muy rico (Spanish for very tasty). Not to quote Meghan Trainor, but this pizza was all about the bass (no treble, pun intended). The base was crispy (WOW) and fluffy simultaneously. Top it all off with a Diet Coke and it was an exhilarating experience for the taste buds. Will definitely be returning when I travel here again (which will happen as I travel a lot for my very labour intensive and well-paying job)
