Too small independent restaurant that we enjoyed so much we visited it a second time during our break in Glasgow. Shout out to Margaret and all of the friendly staff that looked after us both times. The charcuterie board was a highlight as we the not so small, small plates, especially the risotto. Great food in a lovely atmosphere at very reasonable prices.

Went last Saturday after seeing a show & just as good as my last visit. Asked for a certain table and we got it ✅. Enjoyed a delicious lunch here yesterday before going to the C2C at the Ovo. Fabulous bowl of mussels to start, followed by a chicken breast wrapped in bacon with a sage butter and a side of potato,cream and leek gratin and a shared tiramisu, was best ever. Very pleasant Italian restaurant with an obliging staff. Spent a leisurely afternoon there and will return.

The ambiance and staff all very nice. The menu didn't have any vegan options listed but there were actually lots of options to 'veganise' various pizzas and pasta dishes. I was a bit dissappointed with the cannellini bean minestrone (they really skimped on cannellini beans, I only found one in the whole bowl of soup) and wish I'd gone for a pizza. But the flatbread was lovely.

We had a really good meal here, from the Pre-Theatre menu. Plenty to choose from (which can be unusual if you are looking for vegetarian/vegan). The prices are very reasonable and the staff are lovely. Will definitely go again.

The food was okay wasn’t authentic Italian and the taste I expected was more than it was however the quantity and value for money was great!! But the dessert was delicious!!👌🏻

I had meatball calzone. I'm afraid to say it was awful. No sauce. Just lots of cheese. Very salty. The waiting staff were so lovely and it was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was very disappointing though.

Went recently - The night of the Great Gale! Three of us had the Pre Theatre 2 course meal. Some of the best Italian food we've ever tasted. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. And the 2 course very good value at £13.95. It was relatively quiet at 6pm but can imagine it gets busy later with food this good. 👌

We had lunch there before a concert. We were given a nice corner table which suited us but wasn't the easiest option for the staff.... something that often doesn't happen! The food was superb, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Reasonable prices too. Thoroughly recommend this place. We are looking forward to going back for dinner!

Superb food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Can’t rate this restaurant highly enough. The pasta was delicious as was the salmon. Nice decor in the restaurant too. Make sure to book as it is a busy place.

Always loved this place one of our fav places to go infact but the portion sizes have went downhill pasta was delicious but a few spoons and it was gone left still feeling hungry despite having spent quite a lot for 6 people we all left saying the same thing it was delicious but could easily sit down for a dinner afterwards , pasta is still very cheap to buy it has a good profit margin as is so why not fill the bowl that’s not that deep btw and has a massive ledge to make it appear bigger than it is already we had a few spoons no meat dishes and were starving when we left , if feel same on next visit sadly will be the last time we spend here

Restaurants are having a tough time of it on several fronts. Sadly owners are having to pass on the rising costs on to patrons, many of whom are struggling badly because of the cost of living crisis. An imperfect storm. But this does not excuse the growing trend. So choosing a restaurant that offers great value for money and great food is nigh on impossible today. This restaurant gets great reviews, it's doing something right. For us on the night the food was just meh and that doesn't cut it nowadays.

Nice place for an Xmas lunch date with a friend ,I haven't tried on just an ordinary menu,so I can't comment on that yet ,but I definitely will be going back to try it, the staff were very helpful and quickly served and also really friendly. My friend had the tiramisu and I got a taste that was delicious.

We have eaten here on three of our last four evenings in Glasgow. The food and wine is excellent and the service friendly and attentive. Although they always seemed full when we arrived without a reservation, they found a table for us every time. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious; not too noisy, and the background music quiet enough to remain unintrusive. We enjoyed all the main dishes that we had, including one evening composing a main course from the selection of small plates. Highly recommended.

We visited the small restaurant Anti Pasti on a busy Christmas Saturday night and chose from the Christmas menu offers. The staff are most friendly and professional. Our food choices below were of a very high standard. The price of food and wine choices is reasonable. Our only criticism, the sauce with the linguine and chicken was heavy and too rich. Frito Misto, prawns , calamari Bruschetta with goats cheese Salmon and prawns linguine Chicken breast wrapped on Pancetta. Highly recommended.

Decor is pleasant but very busy to the point that we couldn’t hear what each other was saying. Food was extremely disappointing. Seafood pasta came drenched in melted cheese, bruschetta was very basic. Overall food was expensive stodge . Fix your menu this could be a good Resturant

Went here for a pre-theatre before a play at the kings, service was outstanding and was a very reasonable price! Definitely recommend the tiramisu and would miss the sticky toffee pudding.

Thoroughly enjoyed the little plates menu. Swithered whether 5 between was going to be too much between 2, but definitely not as portions weren't overly generous. Desserts and coffee to follow finished meal off nicely. Little bit of tablet/biscuit would have been nice with coffee tho.

Food was great and so was the service. Though after having some lovely mains, we ordered desserts and some of us ordered the cheesecake of the day. They cheesecakes simply did not come and we were not told a reason at all. By the time desserts arrived we were already sorting out leaving so there was no time to further ask about the cheesecakes. Smol disappointment

Visited with family yesterday. Found the place accidentally, even the restaurant looks small - we got a table for 8 in no time even though it looked a busy night for them. It's a very cosy and clean place to dine in. The staff where amazing, atmosphere just what we needed and food was so delicious. Definitely coming back 👌

Possibly the worst meal I have had in Glasgow. Denied entry to an almost empty premises until I showed the email confirmation. Attempted to stick us by the door on a freezing day. Placed elsewhere reluctantly. Velvet bank seating was filthy. Food- Caesar salad was a single chopped up lettuce leaf with a single cherry tomato and too much dressing. Lasagne was frozen and not warmed up properly. Thick layers- at least 6- of solid half cooked pasta, a thick cold layer of something white not quite defrosted. Ughh! To be fair staff were quick, and didn’t argue about the food and deducted the price from the bill. Won’t be back!

When we walked in we were greeted by our lovely waitress. Such good selection of cocktails!!! Simply the best service ever. The food was sooooo good. Simply amazing. I would recommend this place for anyone. 5/5.

Arrived to a friendly welcome, staff were fantastic. We opted for the lunch menu which had lots of choice and was made using delicious ingredients. Could not fault anything i had. Enjoyed a nice bottle of red wine and a cocktail to finish. Will be back.

We had an excelled time at Cafe Antipasti as a group of 9 Everything was prompt and service was great. The food was excellent and the variety on the menu suited everyone with loads to choose from. Lots of vegetarian options too. They also accommodated a request for half and half sharing of pizza/pasta. The food and drinks are excellent value, with everything being very reasonably priced for the quality you are served. The restaurant itself is very pretty and they cater very well for groups

We (group of 7) had dinner. The food was amazing. I loved the wee plates, and I had the meatballs, pate, and ravioli. we shared fries and bread with dipping oil. Will 100% be back and recommend

Very below average experience! Served the most tasteless Brushetta this side of the channel , not helped by the most uncharasmatic host in the history of Anti pasti - i get that dealing with the public is hard and even harder when your chefs are.producing low standards but if you are the face of Anit pasti we need to find the Pro pasti 1 ASAP! Won't be back and neither will my kids . Good luck 👍

Great location kind of hidden in Glasgow. Make reservations for sure. Food and service couldn't have been better. Nice relaxing atmosphere and great service. Food was excellent and topped off a day of sight seeing so a great place to relax and settle in.

I visited Cafe Antipasti with my cousin. We're from Canada and had been travelling around Scotland when we had arrived to Glasgow on the 6th of October. We arrived in the evening and were looking for places to eat near our Air BnB. Luckily we were able to get a table. The atmosphere was great and our servers were fantastic. So nice and welcoming. I had the 'Oven Roast Chicken Breast with Fresh Asparagus, Gnocchi Dumplings, White Wine and Cream' -- It was so good that I'm still thinking about it. Tyke chicken was cooked perfectly, the asparagus was also really fantastic. The best part for me was the gnocchi. It was like I had tiny clouds of deliciousness with every bite! I wish you could deliver all the way to Canada!

There were 16 in our group and we were rather noisy but the staff were all very friendly, fast, gave good advice on the menu. Food came quickly, was hot and excellent, and they cleared the table in a timely manner between courses. They were also quick with topping up drinks.

Visited this weekend after not being there for years and can say it’s still amazing value. Sat promptly at the big table upstairs (there were 8 of us so perfect size) and ate from the pre theatre menu which is good value for a city centre restaurant. Service was quick and friendly without being over the top. Food was fast which was good as we had a show to go to! Food was hot and fresh. I had the sirloin steak and a sticky toffee pudding. Both big portions and hot. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Would definitely recommend.

Hi please read my whole review to get the full picture I don’t moan, I give credit when it’s due, and vice versa We booked s table and got there early, we were offered a table right away, there was no welcome, rather a female who appeared to be the duty manager, waved us towards our table. We ordered drinks, three starters to share between 5, the Kalamari was tasty but of a rubber band texture. Otherwise we were impressed with the prawns in oil and a pasta parcel in sauce dish. Bring in the mains. Risotto; satisfactorily , but not great, chicken wrapped in so called parma ham; edible but over buttered and fatty..two pizzas akin to a dehydrated ryvita with a sprinkle of cheddar. We both took a bite of each, both cracked along the middle like a broken plate. NB; we felt for the waiter who handled someone else’s mistake. We were offered the menu, to choose again, but by that point we were put off so chose not to order an alternative. So, to the awkward “ this is your bill” moment. The waiter was full of apology, I said we were content with drinks and starters, but not the mains, and credit where it’s due, that’s what we paid for, that is to say, all five mains were deducted. We thought this to be a fair resolution. We thanked him for his assistance and reassured him that we knew it wasn’t his error. Recommend it? NO, it was awful, inedible crap

We ate the steaks from the pre theatre menus and they were amazing perfectly cooked. The service was really good considering the restaurant was very busy. I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant.

We ate here as a party of 6. We had prebooked so we had a great table on a mezzanine level overlooking the front door. We had the choice of pre-theatre or a la carte - the pre theatre in particular is very good value....

Been coming here for years but the last two times have been disappointing, is it because I’m using the pre theatre menu. In and out within less than an hour! The lasagne was dry, the pate was the smallest portion to exist.

Whilst the starter (chicken coujons) was lovely, there was a small bug wandered out of the salad which put me right off and had to leave. They were at least gracious enough to comp our drinks.

Visited here today for the first time! ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Delicious food, nice wine! & great service Had the lunch special menu! Great choices & reasonably priced! Can’t wait to return!

Ate here alone for lunch a couple of times. Very welcoming. Great ambience. Good value lunch menu. Pate is lovely as is the Arrabbiata. Only negative: Garlic bread isn't so great and tops up the cost! Definitely recommend this place for drop in lunches.
