Compras navideñas y me dijeron que probara este café para el almuerzo es una gran sopa encantadora grandes tostadas grandes panini todos los precios razonables. Sin duda volvería de nuevo

Realmente un pequeño tesoro. Encantador entorno peculiar con ambiente de Florencia, Italia. Gran servicio y encantadora elección de comida y pasteles. El personal era muy agradable. No podía fallar este lugar.

Mi pareja y yo vinimos recientemente aquí para un almuerzo rápido mientras estábamos esperando un tren. Nos vieron y nos dieron una mesa muy rápido. Todo el personal era muy agradable me tomé la sopa y el sándwich que era precioso y un chocolate caliente. La comida y el servicio eran de primera categoría, además era muy buena relación calidad-precio para cualquier estándar, no solo por Glasgow, sin duda volveremos

En realidad se trata de una cafetería donde se puede comer si quieres un plato sin demasiadas pretensiones. Yo pedí un "bocadillo" vegano que era pasable pero no bueno. El servicio es muuuy lento, ir con paciencia.

Qué café tan bonito. Un oasis de paz y tranquilidad tan cerca de la bulliciosa estación central. El personal era amable y acogedor. El servicio de hora de almuerzo era eficiente. La comida era preciosa.

My wife looked this up for our morning coffee and we went because it got good reviews. I am sorry to say I was rather underwhelmed. The ambience was good and the staff pleasant and the service prompt. However the coffee was only average and my scone, which they toasted for some bizarre reason was, again, only average. I used the toilet (singular) which was a bit cramped but adequate.

This place was nice and a wee coffee place. They don't have much options. Just some toasts and rolls along with some sweets. We ordered cheese and tomato toast and porched eggs and toast with coffee also a Caramel Brownie. The service was really good but food was not upto the mark. The ambience was nice.

I am here most weekdays for a coffee and meetings. Staff are so friendly, coffee is always fresh, food is delicious and the place is just amazing. Service is also very fast. Great place in Glasgow.

Lovely comfy cafe, with great interior and friendly staff. Good for a very reasonably priced breakfast, worth finding in amongst the current roadworks.

Lovely coffee shop and almost accessible if you don't take into account the first step! Very cozy with nice decoration in art deco style. You can also eat there lunch! Staff there were really nice and helpful. Rest room is also accessible for people with reduced mobility. There is even a piano although badly tuned but people didn't mind me using it. The only downside is that they close very early at 4pm which is a shame for late comers!

Just pop in and had the lorne sausage roll, a little piece of heavan. Born in Glasgow but here on a jollybod. Needless to say a return vist will be on the cards.

Pretty nice cafe, but could defiantly benefit from some TLC. My mum ordered a tea, the pot was cracked and leaked tea all over the table, and the tea cup was dirty.

This Art Deco cafe has a connection to one of Glasgow’s most famous sons, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The building was built in 1898 and was originally the premises of the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Company. It is one of Glasgow’s fine red sandstone buildings in the Northern renaissance style and takes up the corner block between Hope Street and St Vincent Street. When you leave take a pause to look upwards and admire the building. The architect was Paisley- born John Hutchison, whose apprentice was Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The cafe has a photo of CRM on the wall in a nod to its past. It is a very pleasant interior and a nice change from the bland sameness of the big coffee chains, plus you get served at your table in another touch of bygone elegance. The menu is simple but the items we had were very tasty. We will definitely be coming back.

Have seen this cafe from the bus and it looks different inside to how I imagined it, very pretty and a larger space. All the little tables are quite charming and beautifully spaced so you don't feel others are invading your space. Reasonable prices and very friendly happy service. Looking forward to going back soon.

Fantastic breakfast and great coffee.

Great wee cafe I have been visiting each day when working in the city. Great coffee. Ordered toast and jam and actually received adequate butter and jam unlike most places! Sounds silly but very uncommon.

Excellent food, service and ambience. Short walk from Central station. Salad was delightful ! Will definitely be back!

Great wee place for a munch. Great service from both.

Came upon cafe by chance, a bit chilly inside but perfectly acceptable, though we did take our coats off, so it couldn't have been that cold. We enjoyed our visit, and food was great. Staff were very friendly, and prices were ok, we would certainly visit again. Though being a couple of pamperped English ladies who are not used to the cold, we might leave a revisit untill the summer.

Lovely service and the milk comes in a cow jug so it’s a 10/10 from me.

Quite frankly this is the worst excuse of a ‘breakfast’ in Glasgow I have ever had. Over cooked poached egg on a disappointing bit of toast and bad bacon, you would do better buying something cold around the corner from the station. You can tell the staff don’t care about anything and to be fair the nicest thing on the plate was the single slice of continental ham (claiming to be Parma Ham), and you don’t even have to cook that. Please just try caring a bit about what you serve to people. A poached agg should not be the consistency on a hard boiled egg.

Very friendly staff and coffee so so I asked the waitress if they could turn on the overhead heater,she went away to ask .NO said management, place was really freezing, best visit in Summer, not a place to go on a cold winters day.

We ordered food and coffee. After 15 minutes our coffee arrived. It was cold. No sign of any food. After 30 minutes, staff seemed to have lost our order. As we had a train to catch, we paid for our coffee and left.

A very disappointing first visit to Cafe Fame after several missed opportunities. It was partly my own fault as I'd had a bit of a big night previously and I was looking for a substantial breakfast but this wasn't the place for it. A quick look at the menu would have told me this but when you see somewhere for breakfast ranked 4.5, why would you? What I got was a single Egg Benedict on a slice of toast, 3 slices of cheese and ham and a couple more bits of toast. This and a latte was £12, for effectively a continental breakfast. You can see the size of the potion in the photo before. As Eggs Benedict go it was fine, but definitely was not worth the price

A lovely cafe with customers from all walks of life. Varied, comfortable seating, friendly and attentive staff!

Place was busy at lunch time, staff looked a bit lost at times, waited too long to order, to long to wait for food to be brought, a second coffee and cake was an inconvenience! Maybe an off day, maybe a first day, maybe short staffed, not great regardless.

Although it's a good looking café with high ceilings and a nice atmosphere, unfortunately we had to go somewhere else as it was taking so long to even take our order. People came in after us and had their order taken and coffees brought when we still hadn't even had our order taken. The breakfast menu was very limited and the chairs tired. I can only assume they must be understaffed. Edit: After having the owner respond having apparently inaccurately timed our visit (feeling uncomfortable at being timed by the way), I read other reviews for this café and am further put off by the multiple unfriendly review responses from the owner. Edit: I reduced my stars after the way you responded as your response lowered my opinion. I have not lied in my review. If you check my profile you will see this is the only bad review I have ever left which I feel says a lot

I would give a 5☆ but then there is nothing to strive for! Food was delicious, coffee on point and the staff lovely.

Wir hatten nach unserer Ankuft in Glasgow Lust auf einen Kaffe und einen kleinen Snack zum Essen und sind durch Zufall an diesem Cafe vorbeigekommen. Wir wurden sofort herzlich Willkommen geheißen und bedient. Die Suppe des Tages und die "MonaLisa" haben uns gut geschmeckt und "gestärkt", so dass wir unseren Tripp fortsetzten konnten 😀

Croissant war trocken, Kuchen war trocken. Joghurt mit Obst zu wenig, um satt zu werden. Alles in allem keine Empfehlung.

Excellent & service with really friendly & knowledgeable welcoming staff, excellent seating, clean and spacious for weary travellers with trollies & cases. The ambience of Art Deco feel just adds to the atmosphere of the cafe😊 The food is excellent, pleasing to the eye, perfectly cooked heated & served by counter & wating staff, they have excellent presentation skills. The poached egg with cheese on toast & mocha was I had this morning for brunch inside was top notch🍽💫 Excellent level access for the visually impaired & wheelchair users, like myself, has excellent accessible toileting/ changing access too.. I am impressed with this cafe, definitely worth 5 stars overall.

I would give more stars. I wanted a cozy breakfast place where I could also do a bit of work. I also wanted a twist to my lorne wrap (with rocket and salad tomatoes) and the lovely staff indulged me. the cost of everything was even more pocket friendly than I expected.

Only been to this wee gem a couple of times- but I am hooked ! So lovely to be away from all the “ chain “ cafes. I love the decor too and have no complaints about staff . Food is good and a little bit different from the run of the mill offerings at other cafes . I will be back . 😊

The most charming little spot. I visited on a Monday afternoon with my toddler. Here are my highlights - - The Mocha was amazing. Easily one of the best I've ever had. - Fully stocked pastry case. The Banana bread was delicious. - The owner/manager is attentive and kind. We chatted about our kids for a few minutes and he made sure we were comfortable. - The atmosphere is laid back and calm, with lovely music in the background. The way the light came in through the windows made it so warm and cozy. - I got a salad to go. The servers were very accommodating, and the salad was very good as well. Can't wait to go back!

I have visited this cafe for years, I used to really like it. In fact, I gave it a 5 star review 4 years ago. Sadly, I’ll now avoid it permanently. I organised a meet up, once a week, for my friends. They insisted on a local cafe with good coffee, centrally located. Every time we’ve visited the owner has made us feel unwelcome. I think it is because we don’t tend to buy a lot of food, and we stay for 2 hours. At no point has every table been taken, there was always more space, so I’m not sure what the problem was. We were made to feel unwelcome, and the owner and the waitress drew looks off us. If you have a problem with your customers, come and explain it to us, we were paying customers like everyone else. I suspect you didn’t because we were doing nothing wrong and you’re just a grumpy dude. I hope you take this time to reflect on your actions. With your attitude you’re undoubtedly losing business. I won’t be back. *UPDATE* Reply to owner, In the interests of fairness, I thought it right to correct the record on some of your points in your reply, I think perhaps your memory needs a refresh: 1. We visited 3 times (not 6) 2. We moved “furniture” a small table and a chair, about 2 feet nearer, once. 3. At no point, at any time, was the café ever full. 4. Emphatically, there was no reserved sign on the table we did move. 5. At no point did anyone ask us to move the furniture back – but I did help you, even after your pretty poor attitude and behaviour. So, if your problem wasn’t us staying there, then I am not sure what it was. Even if what you said were true, it doesn’t excuse your attitude or behaviour. Please bear this in mind for future. Ciao.

When I can get to Glasgow, Cafe Fame is a required stop. Haven't been in for ages ( thanks covid) but look forward to making it back in.

Called in for a quick coffee before a meeting, but due to staff shortage, there was a delay, so had to leave with takeaway snack.

Myself and a friend were making a day trip to Glasgow, and we wandered about to find a nice little brunch spot and ended up here. We should have continued to walk as the food we received was cold, overpriced and not as advertised. The service was very poor and myself and friend felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed and couldn’t wait to leave and when we did leave, we left hungry and £18.60 poorer, for two cold, heavy mayo paninis and two sad excuses for cups of tea. To say this has effected my mood is an understatement and has ruined my first day over to Glasgow.

Good cafe located very centrally in town. Staff are friendly and accommodating to children and adults alike. Menu isn't huge but all dishes looked tasty and our soup and sandwiches were very tasty. Well laid out and very clean. Definitely worth a visit if in city centre

Great home baking in Italian style

A wee gem. Spent a few hours here for meetings. Table service was spot on. Food and drinks were well prepared and tasty. Designed for body and soul with comfy chairs and beautiful decor.

Food was very disappointing, ordered a panini and got a seeded roll with piles of rosemary and salt on instead. Also ordered another panini that did come as a panini, but both were definitely not worth the money. Its a shame the food was a let down as the decor was very nice. Music didnt really match the decor at all either (backstreet boys + nice old furniture).

A great little cafe near to Central station. Lovely, freshly made cakes and pastries and a delicious selection of sandwiches and toasties. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Recommended for a spot of tea, coffee and cake or a quick breakfast.

Кава не смачна, канолі сухі, апельсиновий сік містив на 2/3 склянки лід, це у жовтні. Нащо мені лід у жовтні? Квіти на столику виявились штучними. В цілому, непогане місце, посидіти в домашній атмосфері, але ми не повернемось і нікому б не радила.

The atmosphere was pleasant but the canolis and coffee were unpleasant. I would not go again or recommend this place. It should be noted that I did not try any of the lunch or breakfast food, but after the items I did have, I wouldn't risk it. In reply to the cafe reply. I'm sorry that I seem to have offended you with my review. I simply feel that I've had much better coffee (even at a greggs or Starbucks). I drank it because I paid for it. I didn't intend to eat lunch there, I simply wanted something sweet to go with the coffee and the canoli flavor was bland and not very enjoyable. Your aggressive response seems over the top. I also don't know who you're talking about, but the other individual I was with did not review the cafe. I have nothing to gain from the review and no issue. I am simply being honest and I'm sorry if my review of my experience upset you.
