Walked into Findhorn from eco village campsite just one mile away. beautiful weather. We stopped in for coffee and a bacon roll, one with egg. Sat outside in the sunshine and breakfast/brunch was perfect. Service brilliant, couldn't have asked for better. Value? atmosphere was lovely, service perfect, seating adequate, everything hot and tasty. cost? worth every penny.

My mum and I had such a lovely mocha here. We always stop for a take away coffee, and sometimes a cake, after a walk in Findhorn. The deli has some wonderful produce. I would love it to become a sit in cafe again as it’s so good.

I have a disability and was driving from Inverness to Findhorn - needed to stop for a drink so i could take my medication and popped into this shop/Cafe to order some food and a drink. I walked in aided by my small dog and this Elderly woman came up to me - from nowhere and in an abrupt manner told me " no dogs allowed " and started staring at me as i left the Shop. She could see my disability and didn't take this into consideration - on the contary she was very inconsiderate and treated me poorly. She failed to ask me if i was okay or needed anything and was more concerned about my small dog getting out of her shop. I definitely would not recommend anyone who has a disability or a service dog using this shop. Its self evident that they don't cater towards people who have a disability and they're clearly anti dogs. This surprised me as Findhorn is a dog friendly place. Unfriendly Service and Poor Customer Service by this Woman. This is my reason for 1 star

Be aware that the photo attached to this place is out of date. The sit in cafe doesn’t exist and has been changed to an upmarket deli with the option of some take out food….cakes, homemade quiche (£3.50 per SLICE!!!), etc and, on Friday & Saturday evenings (5 -7pm) take out pizza. Which I sampled this evening. Sadly, I will not revisit for pizza (the deli is good though, if expensive). The pizza (a Veneziana)) was only slightly above warm, the base was tough and very chewy and the toppings were actually pretty tasteless. Overall underwhelming and disappointing. Should have stuck with The Captain’s Table’s pizza but I fancied a change/something new whilst still keeping it local 🙁.

If you are after a decent take out hot chocolate or for that matter a coffee, be prepared not to be impressed. We shan’t be going to the Bakehouse again for a take out, a pity there is no competition in Findhorn. The paper mug was half froth, the chocolate was not hot and most importantly, the staff could t be bothered to mix the chocolate properly. Most of it was a blob at the bottom and half of that was still dry chocolate. I couldn’t be bothered to go back in and complain.

Packed a cool bag and forgot it, came across this place on our hunt for a wee lunch. Takeaway only at the moment but a few picnic benches outside. Pleasant staff, lovely counter display, it's also a food shop selling fresh and dried goods. I had the spiced coconut vegetable curry and it was one of the best and most delicious I have EVER tasted (I told the chef - if you're reading this, Im ready for more already!). It was in a takeaway cup which was a big portion, and came with a huge flatbread that tasted fresh out the oven. A bargain for £4.50. My husband loved his bacon and haggis roll (he asked for bacon egg and haggis but I think he was misheard, loved it anyway) and our coffee and chai latte were lovely too. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back!

Fantastic filo pasty for lunch, vegetarian and quite obviously homemade. Coffee is lovely with cheap refills. Deserts are amazing. My only negative ( and I hate to use this word) is the veg breakkie. Sausages didnt seem homemade and not sure what the bacon imitation was? But I would definately go again , there is so much choice so next time we’ll swap veg breakkie for one of the other tasty options

As the title says - the organic porridge from this little cafe is utterly superb, huge portion served with honey and single cream. Service prompt and efficient with very good quality coffee. The almond crosiants are again absolutely melt in the mouth and MUST be tried. I'd like there to be a more regular/casual takeaway pizza service as opposed to pre-ordered in advance. Only other thing from me would maybe be a few more tables in the place as it can get quite busy quite quickly. Thanks

My wife, my brother and his wife and I called in here for a light snack whilst visiting the Moray Coast. My wife and I have been here several times over the years but this was a first for my brother and sister-in-law. They both adored the place we all had coffee and 3 of us sampled the delicious cakes. Blackberry & Apple Loaf. Carrot Cake and Chocolate Roulade. All were absolutely delicious and the coffees were pleasantly smooth. A lovely little café attached to the bakery which sells a wide selection of artisan breads. Highly Recommended

Ten years ago I ate the most outstanding pizza patate in Tuscany. I have pined for one as delicious since, tonight I ate it. I regularly enjoy the Bakehouse pizzas, they are amazing but tonight I had a Rosmarino with the blue cheese swapped for buffalo mozzarella and it was simply divine. Beautiful base, just enough crust, perfect balance of toppings and perfect seasoning. If you appreciate carefully well made pizza, made with care and love, this is the one. Fab u lous!

Fantastic bakery/restaurant located in the quaint seaside town of Findhorn. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. I had one of their specials of the day, which was smoked haddock fishcakes & salad and it was really good. They have plenty of vegetarian options too. The baked goods are amazing and lots of unusual whole grain options too. They use local ingredients & organic when possible. We left with small bag of baked goods too! Because the food here is brilliant, diverted 5 miles after a long country walk for coffee and cake. Parking nearby isn't easy so entered cafe just on/after 4pm. Tables were full of happy, coffee drinking customers but the steely eyed young guy on the counter while happy to sell us cake would in no way serve coffee. We have just enjoyed a tasty lunch of Pitta bread, beetroot hummus and salad HOWEVER, it was very much overpriced at £7.50 per head. I understand a profit has to be made but really, when totting up how much this meal would have cost to make we are talking £ 2.00 maximum. Not a bad profit at £5.50 per person. Had this meal been more realistically priced we would have been much happier - hence the review marking of one.

My family and friends were in the area and heard wonderful things about the bake house. Called to make sure if it was open and if needed a reservation. The person who answered replied that they are open 7 days a week and that there is plenty of room for us. But when I said we were 4 adults and 4 children the person changed abruptly and said they had no spaces and that we shouldn't go. I found this very unpleasant and unprofessional.Shame

We loved our delicious lunch. The Cullen skink was yummy, and the fishcakes outstanding. We are looking forward to enjoying the bread we purchased. Service was excellent. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Stopped in past for a quick coffee and cakes. Was pleasantly impressed with the service, nice coffee and scones. Toilets were lovely, clean and fresh smelling too!

We received a very warm welcome. The rooms were all en-suite. They were very clean with tea and coffee making facilities. A perfect stopover for our Moray Coastal walk.

While staying at findhorn bay camp site we decided to try Pizza for a quick meal . We had ham and pineapple pizza , garlic bread with feta dip and finished it off with tiramisu. It did not disappoint, especially the tiramisu.Decent size of pizza , plenty for 2 of us with 2 slices left to eat later .Didn’t have long to wait .

Friendly staff, felt very welcome without being stifled. Lovely cafe with home cooked foods. We arrived in time for lunch service. Great selection for all. I had homemade Cullen Skink, best I have ever tasted! Ordered 2 children's meals too of chicken breast burger and Mac n Cheese. Deluxe hot chocolate was amazing, piled high in cream, Marsh mallows and chocolate. Very reasonable prices for home cooked food. Highly recommended. Busy place and rightly so!

Gréât place to stop for proper coffee (the best in Speyside), snacks, and it’s right next to parking and a secure playground for the kids.
