Lovely tapas - cheese bruschetta was amazing. Burger plentiful and good ingredients. Good pricing Great friendly and down to earth service.

Stopped for the night before the lock and decided to have dinner here. You can get bar food as a walk in for lunch and dinner but if you would like a meal you must preorder. Hubs and I had the lamb shank braised in red wine that was Devine- it came with an extra large family size portion of boiled new potatoes, green beans, carrots, and of course while in Scotland Peas. The veg was un- sauced and cooked to tooth🥰. Sister had the vegetarian haggis neeps and tatties…. She enjoyed it said the neeps were delicious. Small and tasty selection of drafts and a bar. The ambiance however is just super with a coal burning stove and the owner a pleasure- she had to leave for a bit to take the dogs out for their business. In the good weather you can sit topside or just off the barge- we were here in October so loved the cozy interior of the barge.

Excellent service and,considering the restrictions caused by space and layout on the barge,the food also was excellent. Highly recommended and we will be back!

The food is the best mexican food you can get in Glasgow! Will definitely be back! Everything was very fresh and delicious! Lovely staff! Thoroughly enjoyed our food! All of the meat we had was beautiful and tender. A very good range of vegetarian options available too!

Restaurant de ramen présent en plusieurs endroits en ville d'Edimbourg. J'ai commandé du kimchi, ainsi qu'un ramen au poulet bien épicé. Un peu dommage que la composition des ramen ne soit pas détaillée sur la carte, mais rien de bien grave. Après dégustation : Kimchi top... Poulet bien tendre... La portion de poulet aurait pu être un poil plus grande... Nouilles savoureuses... Portion de nouilles généreuse... Bouillon trop épicé selon mes préférences, pas d'équilibre de saveurs en bouche... Un ramen de qualité, juste dommage pour le bouillon, mais il s'agit là de mon choix que j'assume complètement vu que la carte signalait clairement l'assaisonnement très fort. Je repasserai volontiers et commanderai leur nouveau ramen avec le bouillon curry-coco qui avait l'air bien gourmand. Des prix quand même un peu plus doux qu'en Suisse, du coup on ne regrette pas les 10% demandés pour le service. Cela dit en passant, un service efficace en période d'affluence, idem pour le plaçage à la table avec une file d'attente de 15 personnes j'a attendu 5 environ , merci.

We always book here when visiting Glasgow! Had one minor hiccup the TV froze but quick visit to reception and theh disconnected TV from the mains in room and reset it! Can not fault!

Be careful to walk past the blue lamp if you are going to a jazz night, I thought the doors were closed but turns out that was for the pub as opposed to event space.

Just had a wonderful breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Fue a un asado dominical, el precio mínimo es de £ 35 para dos platos. Ambos queríamos un affogato como nuestro postre / segundo plato, pero esto se clasificó como un “postre extra”, así que nos cobraron un extra de £ 4 cada uno (a pesar de que no conseguimos ningún otro postre y preguntamos si podíamos tener esto como nuestro segundo plato). Estábamos sentados en lo que supongo que era una zona de bar a pesar de reservar con antelación y estábamos sentados en asientos mucho más bajos que la mesa, lo que significaba que era incómodo comer. Nuestra zona estaba rodeada de multitud de fotografías de famosos que supongo que quien decoró el restaurante vio como “canallas encantadoras”... alias todos los hombres. Fue realmente decepcionante mirar a mi alrededor y no ver a una sola mujer representada en las paredes (quiero decir, vamos Vivienne Westwood, Amy Winehouse, Sinéad O'Connor, Joan Jet, Marsha P. Johnson, ... hay tantas innumerables mujeres que se podrían describir como rebeldes y pícaros). Aunque suene tan trivial, es tan frustrante tener una comida decepcionante y luego mirar hacia arriba para ver paredes de hombres blancos (a menudo problemáticos) mirándote fijamente y notar el patrón.

The 2 star review is for the food, which was good, albeit a sandwich and two coffee’s.Something wrong if you can’t get that right. And that folks is where the praise ends. On arrival, cafe was reasonably busy. Got seated and handed menu’s. Waited around 10 minutes, with no sign of anyone coming to take our order so decided to go to the counter, only to be told rather abruptly that someone was coming. Had our coffee’s and sandwich after which my wife decided to go to the ladies toilet. On returning i could see she was not amused ( you get to know the signs after 30years of marriage) Thankfully, i was not the subject this time of her dissatisfaction! She said the toilet was a disgusting disgrace. I doubted it could be that bad but i have learned to agree in most circumstances. Happy wife, happy life and all that. I too then decided to use the facilities and on reaching the toilets, it was apparent that the gents was out of order. Not because of a sign saying so! No, but due to an obstruction intentionally jammed infront of the gents door making it impossible to open, and with no other alternative, i made the deduction the use of the ladies was the only option. All i can say is that my wife was right! The only working toilet was a disgrace. Urine soaked seat, and urine soaked floor and unpleasent odour. Not to mention the toilet is raised on a plinth which is shoddy to say the least, never mind being a trip hazard for someone a bit unsteady underfoot. Linoleum floor ripped, wooden lining a mess and decor dirty. Roll of paper simply laid on worktop next to sink for hand drying. All in all, disgraceful for a toilet in a cafe. I am off the opinion, if you run a cafe / restaurant then the two main areas for cleanliness being a must is the kitchen and the toilets. This placd certainly fails miserably on the toilet. Never saw the kitchen but can only hope the level of cleanliness and customer care is better in this department. Unlike Arnie, doubt we will be back!! As noted, food was fine.

I have been here a few times now with family and a few others with my wife for food. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. I have allergies to certain foods, they went above and beyond to make sure all my allergies were met. I would 100% recommend this place for food. I will certainly be back 👍🏻
