Friendly and cosy place for a few beers with friends.

I wanted to have dinner after seeing food photos on Google reviews, but the locals only drank beer. The owner told me that there was no food available at the restaurant across the street, and the customer told me about another restaurant. The pub atmosphere is really nice.

Staff are always super welcoming, homely vibes, and a great selection of beers.

Civilised, good drinks to offer, good seating area. They do a pub quizz. Some of the staff are very knowledgeable on whiskies and amazingly friendly.

What a find - the ultimate "hometown" pub in Edinburgh with amazing beer and camaraderie of good people. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Worth a special trip.

Nice cafe, friendly bartender,.. Very cozy atmosphere. Didn't eat but I think you could order some snacks.

Wow. Place is full of old public schoolboys. Too expensive. Better to visit Wetherspoons ot Toby Carvery for value for money

Thanks to Ian and the staff for the fabulous hospitality. The great range of whiskies and first class ales were supplied to the 13 Welsh singers on the international weekend. The locals were amazing and they honestly make you feel at home. We also went to hear a local singer, Nikki and that was a great evening. There is no doubt we will return.

I went there to watch the football match Spain-Scotland. The atmosphere was simply wonderful, the waiting service friendly and careful. The beer was great. In the evening there is not an extended choice of food, this is maybe the only little issue, but there's plenty of stuff to drink. Just perfect. Cannot reccomend it more.

I chose this place because it said it was dog friendly, and I wanted to let some dogs, but the people were so wonderful, too!💚💚💚 the regulars were so kind and friendly, and the bartender, Rachel, was exceptionally kind and fun to talk with. I went a couple times during my visit, and whenever I am back I will be going here again! Everyone was helpful in giving me advice and tips on where to go and what was open, and the best way to get places. Great little pub! I will remember it forever💚

Very relaxed and grown up proper pub, although most of the punters are old enough to remember the invention of fire it's definitely a pleasant place to spend an afternoon drinking their very nice beers

Really friendly place. We're out of towners and if you talk to someone at the next table, half the room gets involved. Bar staff probably the most professional I have ever encountered (and I've encountered a few..) and also super-friendly. Nice range of beers and gins.

Well this is my personal favourite pub in Corstorphine ticks all the boxes for me. Great atmosphere, very friendly, great choice of ales, beers and lagers, along with the usual tipples. Also in keeping with the tradional pub favourite the roaring fire place for these cold days you just can't beat it. Highly recommend it for a visit.

Just popped in for a pint. Corstorphine has a few pubs including a Toby Carvery, a Wetherspoons, a Green King eatery and a Gastro Pub which all look much grander but Winstons Bar is by far the best in Corstorphine if you prefer a real pub with real food and a friendly atmosphere.

This local pub may not be the most scenic looking from the outside, and the interior is nothing noteworthy either. But its legendary pies make this a must-visit destination for all lovers of fine ales and great pub food.

This is a small pub but the staff are friendly and it has a nice atmosphere inside. Prior to COVID the themed nights were great fun too.

Winstons continues to be a great local, with great staff providing a safe enjoyable place to have a beer, or two! The bar staff make Winstons the best pub in Corstorphine. Thanks Ian and Lynn for giving us a place to go and recharge our batteries, and have a little bit of normality, whilst maintaining the highest standards of adherence to COVID safety measures. Make sure you book in advance.

Popped in last night during our 3 night stay in edinburgh .very impressed by the way the pub is run in these challenging times manager extremely helpful and a great host .well done the Winston I will reccomend this pub to all friends family and colleagues

I'm only just getting back out and about. Winston was one of the first post lockdown pints. It's almost impossible to not fixate on the Covid precautions. On entry you are met by a member of staff wearing a visor. All staff in masks or visors. Plenty hand sanitizer and tables are spaced out. No standing at the bar and it's table service only. It operates 1 metre distancing. Only 1 real ale on, but it was Pentland ale in excellent condition. Obviously they don't have the footfall yet to get through more. It's probably best to book. I turned up on spec. Twice I got in and had a table, twice I was turned away due to them being full. It's tough times for pubs. I'm going to support them as much as I can, but clearly revenue won't match what it was. I hope they survive.
