Rafa's in Glasgow City

For my money the best plate of food in Glasgow. Have been >10 times and never ever disappointed. Massive flavours, lovely staff. The king prawn burrito is best surprised as a near-psychadelic experience. Unbeatable

Best Mexican food in Glasgow . Lovely tacos and huge portion of fry’s . The dogs also loved the wee bowl of meat for them to share (very kind ) can’t wait to go back

Always fantastic at rafas. Great quick service, proper authentic food and BYOB that’s a plus! Got the barbacoa, fish, and mushroom tacos.

Such a great vibe of this place. The food was absolutely amazing. Shared 3 tacos and quesadilla and we have not stopped thinking about how good that quesadilla was. We’ll definitely be back.

The food at Rafa's is totally amazing - delicious meat, very authentic Mexican. The quesadillas are particularly good. Very much street food - the inside of the cafe is small but it's a lovely spot in the Hidden Lane to eat out under the gazebo on a fine evening. Can't recommend enough. I just wish it was open on more nights of the week.

If you want the best Mexican food in Glasgow, this is it! The menu and atmosphere is as authentic as it gets! My friends and I tried the burritos, quesadillas, and tacos. Well-seasoned meat, actual hot chiles, homemade salsas, and tacos have two corn tortillas! The owner and staff are all very friendly and the restaurant stayed busy the whole time we were there. We'll definitely come back!

I shall start by saying ainlove the location, it's good. But that's where the positives end. From sub-standard sanitary conditions in the servicing area to uncooked, bland, mushy food, this place is a total disappointment. Easily the worst "Mexican" food I've had in the UK, the carne asada wasn't cooked or prepared properly, the fish tacos were greasy and disgusting and the slaw was just uncooked cabbage. Outside of The Hanoi Bike Club, this is the worst restaurant I've visited in Glasgow.

We’ve been here before and it’s either been closed or sold out. This time we actually got to eat. It was worth the effort. Delicious. Perfect. Gorgeous. Bloody tasty Every bite packed with flavour and fresh. We will definitely be back. Loved it

Small clean friendly place that sells excellent Mexican food. Big discount if you buy three tacos which is excellent value. Brilliant

I visited Rafa’s Diner today as the weather was good deciding to visit Glasgow. We ordered some burritos and left to enjoy them in Kelvin park only to find the order was wrong. We asked for two and got one and a dish served in a completely different container which was impossible to eat without cutlery. I love to support local food retailers and at £30 for two requested burritos with two soft drinks I think I’m playing my part. As for Rafa try and get the order correct. I’m deeply disappointed so much so I tried to call but you rang out. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this venue again as there is so much choice and many caterers who can get it right!

Have had plenty of real home cooked Mexican food in my life and this is the closest possible thing to it in the whole of the UK. a real hidden gem please go!!!

Chicken wings where lovely. Friendly staff and great service. managed to sit in and eat lovely atmosphere. Just what we where looking for.

Tacos were stale and not full of flavour, although the fish was nice. Rafas used to be much better and it is such a shame. We had been offered a free meal, which was very kind, after various disappointing visits. However, it was only ok...

Hidden gem, fish tacos were absolutely out of this world. First time ever trying fish tacos. And I cannot get enough of them now.

Probably some of the nicest food Ive eaten in Glasgow, without doubt the best Mexican food. Was at the Glasgow Beer Works Garden where they had a pop up stand. had Chicken tacos and a plate of Nachos, really fresh tasting with a little spice!

Hands down, best burritos and tacos in Glasgow. The carnitas and carne asado tacos are the sort of thing you wish you had more of as soon as you finish. Green Chile burrito was probably the best burrito I've ever had. Just brilliant, tasty food....
