I ordered delicious fava beans and karak tea from them, and Yemeni bread after that, but the karak was normal, different from Yemeni restaurants in Saudi Arabia.

I tried their mandi...it tastes good and is cooked well. His problem is that it is sometimes very delicious, and sometimes it is below normal. May God bless them and increase their skill and mastery.

Ordered through their website then received an email after i had paid that they had no drivers to deliver my order and to phone. When i called the phone went straight to voice mail. I went to get the order myself at the take away and it was closed. so it wasn't no drivers they were closed but still taking peoples money.

A little difficult to find because I was looking for a shop front. However It’s just in the business centre on Abercromby St and I’m really glad I did search it out. The Mandi was delicious, spiced basmati rice with slow cooked lamb I was able to cut with my spoon. Friendly, quick service too. Also seen they’re on all the big delivery sites.

Having followed maps to this venue I was unsure about entering what appears to be a garage, the welcome howver was warm - staff very friendly and outside was a customer clearly enjoying the cuisine. Was not disappointed-had largest piece of chicken ever which was lush together with rice and tabbuloa - will definitely return 😋 Not really a place to eat onsite but enjoyed the whole meal sat on a bench in Glasgow Green.

Waleema is the best. Delicious food and great hospitality As soon as you taste Yemeni food, you feel as if you are in the popular markets of Yemen and the food takes you there. 👍🏻

My partner and I love a burrito and wanted to give this place a go. Unfortunately it was pretty bad. We each ordered a burrito, one chicken and one beef, and upon their arrival we were instantly disappointed. What we actually received were some sort of wrap. They were tortillas that bad been filled with mediocre ingredients and then pressed flat in a panini press. We also ordered salt and pepper fries, but what we received was a bowl of french fries which has been overcooked from frozen and then salted with basic onion salt. Two drinks were ordered: both draught Fanta, but neither was actually Fanta. The staff were best friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was fine, but the burritos were really quite terrible.

I’ve been coming to Bibis for years and have always loved the food however, on my most recent visit I was left extremely disappointed. First of all the full menu was not available, instead it had been replaced with a set menu which was not communicated upon booking. Following on from that I ordered a starter of potato croquettes, given it was a set menu you would have thought you would have ordered enough food to cater to customers - however, about 15 minutes later the waitress arrived and proceeded to give me chicken tacos, given I’m vegetarian this was extremely unacceptable. The reasoning behind this was that you had ran out of the original order but I find it extremely disappointing to just hand a customer something which they didn’t order and most importantly you didn’t check if I had any allergy or dietary requirements. Then to add to the growing list of problems our main course took around 1 hour to be served. This is completely unacceptable. The restaurant did not seem any more busy than usual so I can’t understand why it would take that long to serve food to people. I’m even more disappointed in yourselves as I wrote an email explaining how I’ve been coming for years and would still like to however, I find your lack of response to mirror the service which is under par be a long shot. I will say the two waitresses working that night were lovely

Ordered takeaway from the Glasgow Hope Street branch last night. Not as we expected. Incomplete order, didn't receive churros and the nachos we ordered were tiny, no toppings and hadn't even had the cheese melted, nothing like the photos. The burritos were cold and missing half the filling. £30 wasted :(
