The best restaurants in Scotland

What a fabulous place. Very dog friendly, lovely staff, food was so good I went 3 days in a row. I will miss my cake of the day tomorrow. Very welcoming atmosphere and a bonus beautiful view across the bay.

While wandering through Aberfoyle came across this little butchers. Glad we did, the Roll and sausage/ black pudding doubler was amazing, great value for £5 my son had the Steak roll also delicious. No hesitation in recommending this establishment. A wee day out, you have to pop in.

Went there for a takeaway pizza and loved it! The names and everything really go with the name. The pizza was delicious and everything else did look pretty good!

First visit for lunch usually in at breakfast time. Lovely soup with a toasted wrap. Excellent service as always. Homemade cakes to take away. Nothing too much for Alison and the team. Wee treasure with a friendly atmosphere what's not to love!!!

What a lovely little cafe. Very friendly service. Coffee cake, plain scone both delicious as was the butter and jam for the scone. Could do with having one caffeine free soft drink on offer but it was a great experience nonetheless.Prices good too!

chic little place for your casual Italian dining great for weekday eat out option their 2-course lunch is absolute bargain reservation highly recommended as its a small space definitely coming back

I have been here on 2 seperate occasions and really liked the pasta. There is enough 'vegetarian ' options if you are prepared to accept parmesian (which I do...) I have had: - cacio e Pepe. Really good. - walnut pesto. Was OK - Arancini. Was OK - halloumi fries. Good. Really good value. Both times I came for dinner. Definately worth visiting for a pasta fix

Felt very intimidated when I walked in to use toilet and then purchase an item. Woman with blonde hair in a ponytail shouted at me and was very rude and making faces at me for using the toilet first after stating I was going to buy an item. Before being so concerned about you toilet use, you should probably have a look at your customer service :)

Lovely meal for OH's Birthday. Not been for very long time, but after tonights lovely food I really dont know why. Busy place but the waiting staff all lovely and cheery and it was running like a well oiled machine.. Will be back for sure and soon..

Ate lunch here severally times when visiting Vatersay beach. Soup and various cakes need a special mention. Staff really friendly.

Smashing wee cafe, very clean, great coffee, great roll n sausage n tattie scone. Friendly staff.
