I really wanted a coffee and with everything else closed at 3pm couldn't believe my luck that this nice Cafe was opened. I also was able to get some local whisky ice cream which I had with my delicious coffee and wonderful service from the couple who run (and I expect own) the Cafe. Very nice people and I admit I happily switched from take away to dine in.

Fantastic little coffee shop in Dufftown serving a very good selection of coffee, hot chocolate and tea, delicious cakes, toasted sandwiches and panini as well as soup. The coffee is excellent and the hot chocolate variety is amazing. Warm welcome from Alison and Mark who are also knowledgeable about the area. Vegetarians and vegans are well catered for which is a big plus. If you are in the area, pay them a visit you won’t be disappointed.

We were looking for a light lunch after walking up Ben Rinnes. The place was empty when we came in, a bit strange in the middle of the tourist season. We had paninis and sandwichs, not bad but not much taste. Then cakes, same impression. It seems run by a couple, who is very friendly. Overall not bad but was disappointed.

Vi besøkte i forbindelse med Speyside Whiskyfestival og fikk en spesialmeny for anledningen der kake, varm drikke og a wee dram var satt sammen for anledningen. Selv uten «den kalde teen» er menyen verdt besøket! En fantastisk coffee and walnut vake! Med på kjøpet; en hyggelig prat med vertskapet.

My wife and I stopped off here after a successful climb of Ben Rinnes last Sunday. A ‘Coffee’ was well needed! Situated in a beautiful part of the country, the ‘Glassworks’ had a real localised feel to it and the two workers (possibly owners) were polite and welcoming. Inside, the layout was simplistic but promoted the local area amidst walls filled with portraits of animals and Highland scenery. The cafe was small but quaint. We ordered a ‘Flat White’, a ‘Mocha’, a ‘Cheese Scone’ and a slice of ‘Victorian Sponge’. No complaints with any of the items bar one minor issue - my cake had a ‘Lemon Jam’ which I wasn’t too keen on. Personal preference only, everything was baked to a high standard. We recommend this business should you find yourself in the area - definitely worth a visit after a bit of hill climbing!

Having read all the glowing reviews I was really looking forward to coming here to hopefully buy some of the crafts and enjoy some coffee and cake. Instead, despite clearly wearing my face mask exemption card ( due to several medical reasons that I would have been happy to explain had their approach been less like treating me like a lepur) I was told I could not come in as they have vulnerable customers ... presumably that would be the two unmasked ladies sat having tea? I too, am vulnerable and am particularly sensitive and careful about social distancing etc, i could have also pointed out under Scottish laws they cannot refuse entry but I was so shocked at how rude they were I would not have wanted them to have my custom so sadly a very negative experience for me and cant recommend... especially if you are exempt from wearing a mask!

The place is run by a lovely couple and immaculate inside. Lots of cakes etc. on offer (try the cheese scones) and pretty good coffee - I would just say that for my taste the flat white should be served in a smaller cup to avoid the milk overpowering the coffee.Well worth a visit.

My friend and I stopped here for a coffee while enroute to our next destination. The man working there was quite friendly and helpful. We ordered coffee and scone. Delicious. Another plus was free Wi-Fi. Only downfall was the bathroom. Opened a door, saw funny logo on wall to head out back (outside) to the toilets. Opened a door, which led to a dank hallway and finally to the toilets. A bit out of the way and "dodgy". Other than that, this place was wonderful!

After having climbed two hills on a lovely summer day, I was heading home through Dufftown at about 4:30 and noticed that this cafe was still open. I stopped and ordered a latte and a piece of coffee and walnut cake. They were both delicious and a very welcome refreshment after my exertions. It is very small, only one table in the window and three in a back room, and to find the toilet you go outside and round a corner, but it is very clean when you get there. I don't know if they do food. It looked like there was just a selection of cakes - Aberdeen butteries, tiffin, carrot cake etc. The lady serving was very pleasant and had a little chat with me, and I came away with a very good impression, thinking that I must make a point of coming back next time I am in the area.

Cake is top too, and provided by local person.Music is quiet -eclectic and interesting- although owners are roots blues enthusiasts.Lucy D is right when she says it's the best coffee in Speyside. Family-friendly, The Glassworks attracts a varied clientelle, and has a nice, unimposing atmosphere.A nice place for reading or relaxing between destinations. If you like using your children as kites, you may enjoy the alfresco option, but use strong string as the wind here is often mighty. My wife and I enjoy really good coffees from around the world. Every variety of coffee has its own character. Here, they mix an Arabica and Vietnamese bean to produce an amazing blend which rich in aroma and flavour. Couple that with a choice from their excellent cake stand and you have a snack to die for!!Well done to the couple who run it........you're doing a great job!!

Smart little cafe with delicious cakes, lovely service and unique art/craft work. A little gem. There is a small back room which maximises the space. A very relaxed atmosphere.

This is the finest coffee i have had in a long while, well worth a visit,The owners make preparing your coffee a form of art, ( the home made cakes look excellent but I'm yet to try one )

It's not often you come across a wee cafe up north that does real coffee properly. This place hits the mark and more. Lovely staff and a great collection of art to buy. Definitely worth a visit. I know I'll be back!

We received a very warm welcome. The rooms were all en-suite. They were very clean with tea and coffee making facilities. A perfect stopover for our Moray Coastal walk.

While staying at findhorn bay camp site we decided to try Pizza for a quick meal . We had ham and pineapple pizza , garlic bread with feta dip and finished it off with tiramisu. It did not disappoint, especially the tiramisu.Decent size of pizza , plenty for 2 of us with 2 slices left to eat later .Didn’t have long to wait .

Friendly staff, felt very welcome without being stifled. Lovely cafe with home cooked foods. We arrived in time for lunch service. Great selection for all. I had homemade Cullen Skink, best I have ever tasted! Ordered 2 children's meals too of chicken breast burger and Mac n Cheese. Deluxe hot chocolate was amazing, piled high in cream, Marsh mallows and chocolate. Very reasonable prices for home cooked food. Highly recommended. Busy place and rightly so!

Gréât place to stop for proper coffee (the best in Speyside), snacks, and it’s right next to parking and a secure playground for the kids.
