I have been here on 2 seperate occasions and really liked the pasta. There is enough 'vegetarian ' options if you are prepared to accept parmesian (which I do...) I have had: - cacio e Pepe. Really good. - walnut pesto. Was OK - Arancini. Was OK - halloumi fries. Good. Really good value. Both times I came for dinner. Definately worth visiting for a pasta fix

So happy to have found this restaurant that serves PROPER CARBONARA! It was delicious and fresh and the guanciale was crispy and delicious 🤌🏽 and served in a casual street food way which I thought was cute. I will be bringing some friends over to try some real carbonara 😌

Had take out. Food was okay nothing special. Expensiv for the portion size.

Very good pasta, authentic flavours and generous portions for the price. We got the carbonara and nduja and pork ragù. Highly recommend

The best pasta I have eaten in my life! The rigatoni arrabbiata is sensational. A day trip to Edinburgh for valentines my husband had booked a posh restaurant. I asked him to cancel and bring me here for the pasta instead. Amazing portion size for the price the guys were kind enough to give me a to go box. I am not usually a pasta lover but these guys do it right! Delicious

A perfect casual meal in the coolest location at Edinburgh Street Food. Fabbrica is right up my street, I had the carbonara and the Mac and Cheese and both were delicious, I didn’t leave a scrap! Also the atmosphere in ESF was perfect with good music and the coolest setting. I can’t wait to come back 😍✨

While experience was amazing and would 100% recommend, think its the first time I've actually had food, got up from my table to go order a second helping..... I'll pass you over to my friend to give his opinion too.... Hi (this is the friend), I agree on all fronts. The quality of food and vibe of the venue leave you wanting for nothing! The killer dish to try is the Mac'n'Cheese bites....they are incredible!

I am a former employee here. They deducted the money from my paycheck after I left without my permission. They didn't put it on my pay slip and didn't show me receipts for those parts. I don't even remember agreeing to pay them. And when it wasn't convenient, they didn't reply back. Do you think this place is good? Is the pasta you make every day while shouting at me good? All the employees work with dead faces. It's not because it's hard work. It is because the atmosphere is bad and there is no fun. As soon as I wrote a Google review, they contacted me. They must have feared that their reputation would be damaged. And they never answered my questions, moreover, they always told me to delete the Google review from the top, regardless of the fact that they got my name wrong. Then they said they would pay me. As long as they deducted the money for illegal activities in the first place, the money belongs to me and they should not ask me for an equivalent exchange. You may just want to eat and drink in street food. Look at their shops. The runners who offer it are not sticking around. It will be the end. That's the kind of shop they are. I have been ridiculed at work when they have done wrong and not acknowledged it. They also blame others for their mistakes, and even when they realise they made a mistake, they have never made a mistake. They are very unfair people. We strongly advise against buying food from shops that discriminate against people from other countries. If we were to delete them in response to this review, we would question the Google review itself. This is the truth and we are in no way trying to bring them down. It is an objective statement of fact.

Although I am always skeptical to eat Italian, because I am a very demanding Italian, I can assure you that Fabbrica in Edinburgh is super delicius, Incredibly surprised especially by the ravioli and the vegetarian choice not entirely obvious. I am very satisfied and the chefs.. Two nice morsels

Straight to the bin! Hands down the most disgusting attempt at Italian food I've ever had. I had what was meant to be a carbonara. Gloopy cheap dried spaghetti covered in a vile sauce and sprinkled with a mixture of dried out ham and fatty lumps. What an utter waste of £11.

Amazing original fresh italian pasta, made from Baptiste, no cream, original style, without Doble crema. Best in town

Some of the best pasta I had recently. I just tried the Putanesca pasta and it was so delicious. The guys serving are fantastic, and the atmosphere is great! Make sure you stop there when you're in Edinburgh.

Try the Mac and cheese bites with truffle Mayo. Crispy panko breadcrumbs and rich saucy Mac and cheese on the inside, 10/10 would recommend

Have been to Fabbrica on multiple occasions and it has to be our favourite at ESF. The cacio e pepe is absolutely delicious and always cooked to perfection. The halloumi and Mac n cheese sides are great too. Looking forward to our next visit already!

These guys do incredible pasta!! I keep going back to try every dish…my favourite so far is the cacio e pepe - I highly recommend trying it for the delicious cheesy sauce! Mac and cheese bites are also a firm favourite. A absolute must when you’re in Edinburgh!

Gorgeous spaghetti with kale pesto with generous heap of Parmesan - such a treat for an out-of-town Borderer like me. PS If you could give the option of veggie 'Parmesan', I would love you even more.

I had a delicious dinner with my friends at La Fabbrica. I particularly enjoyed their handmade pasta with mushrooms but the kale pesto was also very original and yummy!

Very good pasta!! As an Italian away from home, I fund the pasta very close to an Italian experience. Cacio e pepe was executed to perfection and the spaghetti were perfectly al dente. They know what they are doing, absolutely not to miss!

I ordered the carbonara, I’m giving 3stars for the sauce it was the tastiest I’ve ever had and with fresh spaghetti so yum! However it was basically just sauce and spaghetti with only a couple tiny bits of bacon. I think for that price there should be more maybe mushrooms and definitely more bacon. Would order again if there was more than just sauce and spaghetti. That sauce though!❤️

It doesn’t taste exactly like the pasta I had in Venice - it tastes even better!! Super friendly and helpful staff as well and great portion sizes. Highly recommend - a takeaway you won’t feel guilty about!

We ordered from deliveroo and it was really nice fresh pasta with gorgeous sauce. I had the tomato pasta with nduja and a side of meatballs and my partner had the all'arrabiata and we were both blown away by the taste. Thank you for the excellent meal!

Best pasta I've eaten outside of Italy without a doubt. Very fresh, the sauce was rich and meaty but didn't overpower the dish. Trust me if you love Italian food and are a pasta lover... you'll be happy you ordered from here. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Absolutely superb pastas. For once you can eat some fresh homage pasta with very nice sauces. Portions are perfect and will highly recommended Strada.
