Super bland pizza. Pretty flavourless.Really oily. So oily it was falling apart. Our order was forgotten and we had to wait a while.

Unfortunately we only came across this pizzeria on our last day; wishing we came across this gem sooner. Best pizza I ever had. The Canadian was absolutely sublime. The bruschetta was also soooo good. The chef was also so nice, what a lovely place. Thank you for the amazing food and experience!!

Amazing pizza, wonderful and friendly staff, they were very helpful and fun. Prices, portions and quality are terrific. Tried the Alfonso pizza it was great. Very recommended 👌🏼

Went for a 12" pizza. I had to wait ages because people who arrived later were served before me and then got just a 10". When I asked about it, I was told that it was a 12" and it was just the box being too big, as if I was stupid and unable to understand. Very disappointed at the awful service and the way i was treated after I paid for a 12".

Excellent taste, quick service and reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

First time in Morrati pizzeria, must admit this is a very unique takeaway, It’s tiny , but so busy ,and the reason it’s so busy is , because the pizzas in here are so delicious, I got the veggie hot one , which came fully loaded with fresh toppings, overall a very nice place , with customer service to match ,and not to mention the reasonable prices 😎, will definitely be coming back ….

Just a little pizza place on the corner in the old town, but we were surprised by how excellent it was. The pizza was the perfect size, very tasty, and not at all hard on the stomach. The price for what you get is also great, plus the service was quick and friendly. Strongly recommend!

Very delicious pizza, freshly made before your own eyes. You may have to wait some time if someone has ordered just before you, but the food is worth the wait.

Delicious, fast, authentic, & affordable. I got a garlic pizza with cheese and a pepperoni & onion pizza. I walked in to order and it was ready in about 8 minutes. This hit the spot.

I'm still chewing on my first piece of pizza from Moratti I couldn't even wait before writing a review. I love pizza, and I can say, this is THE BEST PIZZA I've ever had. I got the Canadian and the garlic cheese pizza ( garlic fingers in Canada). I'm really happy I took a chance going here. Next time I'm in Edinburgh, I'll be back!

Fabulous little place with amazing pizza! Might look a bit shabby but that certainly doesn't reflect on the quality of the food. Fresh, plentiful toppings, perfect pizza base and baked to perfection.

First off pizza is genuinely amazing, second off a drunk guy came in and didn’t know left from right and the owner gave him a meal completely free. Amazing shop owner and amazing food couldn’t recommend this place more. Also amazing prices

This place doesn't look up to much from the outside but omg the pizza is amazing and the price was if anything a bit cheap. Absolutely do not judge a book by its cover. Give it a try.

Moratti is one of very few options in the area that are open late and reasonably priced. We greatly appreciated this spot when staying nearby. You will likely encounter some characters here, but that only adds to the fun!

Apparently it’s open late at night, according to google. However it’s been closed at nights on weekends for ages. Please update your schedule and don’t make more people walk all the way to your business late on a Friday just to let them down with a closed establishment.

My partner came to your shop for a 12inch Pizza tonight at about 6 30, he received a 12inch box with a 10inch pizza inside he was charged for a 12inch pizza. That is down right stealing, I won't be back in your shop I will inform my friends, I have tasted better. You have a long way to go to beat MARMARIS...........

Order a 12 inch pepperoni pizza got 10 inch in 12 inch box but changed £ 8 pound for the pizza. Enjoy your extra money will no be Back

Sono stato 3 notti a Edimburgo e per tre sere ho preso da mangiare in questo piccolo locale gestito da 3 persone gentilissime. La pizza non è la "classica" italiana, ma molto buona, croccante, con buon impasto e ottimi ingredienti. Anche l'hamburger (congelato) è buono. Qualità prezzo ottimi. Se alloggiate nei dintorni (io ero al travelodge di fronte) e non avrete voglia di uscire la sera preferendo la cena d'asporto in hotel, consiglio vivamente!!!

Very affordable and quick place for pizza!

Does not look pretty from outside. The guy working there would have more room in an old fashioned telephone box. He did manage to make a couple of delicious pizzas which we thoroughly enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable, the pizzas are excellent. Would recommend 👍

Bit of a hole in the wall kinda place but sometimes they're the best. Great food, we had pizza, garlic bread (with cheese), a doner and a chicken doner. Though they both came with pita, everything was thrown on top when it would have been easy enough to make a wrap out of it. Still, a fork helped and at the end of the day it all went down the same hole and tasted delicious. Open late and fairly priced.

The pizza was good, but the service is really bad. We asked for paper plates because we were staying at a hotel and the person acted like we were crazy. The entire time the person acted as if we were burdening him. Then I used my credit card because I am traveling internationally and he rolled his eyes. I am not sure if it was because I was an American or if he preferred cash, but it should not make a difference. We asked for a receipt and he refused. I would not go there again, very sketchy.

If I could give a true service rate it would be -5. I asked for red pepper seed flakes he said we have garlic sauce. asked for plates he said it came in a box Asked for receipt he looked at me like he hated me. I'm not sure why he was angry.

Great pizza at a fair price. The crust here has a very good elastic texture and taste, and the rest of the pie is good as well. I recommend ordering ahead and picking up.

Excellent pizza place that’s open till late. We were super hungry at around 11 and only found this open around the area. There were a couple of others waiting for their orders. Pizzas are made fresh on the go, and it only took 15 minutes to make ours. Soft, tender pieces of chicken, really good cheese! Highly recommended!

I tried the Pizza Moratti. It comes with chicken, tomato, spinach and egg. It smelled amazing and tasted fantastic. I have never eaten that combo on a pizza before, but I would happily order it again. The chicken has a lovely semi-spicy seasoning. The owner is quite nice too.

It was our best attraction in Edinburgh. It was so good that I forgot my way back home. It was incredible. I wish I had a pizza like that in Poland. There are no words to describe how good it was. I highly recommend it. It's really good. Very well done funghi. Luigi and Gorgio are zajebisci ☘️

A variety of delicious pizzas at very reasonable prices!

Every single time Ive been here, Ive been harassed by other customers (drunk men). Not the fault of the owners, however not a pleasant experience, as they do nothing to stop it.

Pizzas y hamburguesas riquísimas y baratas hechas delante de ti al momento y los trabajadores todos súper simpáticos! Abren hasta muy tarde y está a solo 2 min caminando de Cowgate, así que es perfecto para pedir algo de comer de camino a casa después de haber salido de fiesta. De mis sitios favoritos de Edimburgo!

I travelled all the way from Newcastle just to try the famous moriati pizza - its elementary! It was worth the 2 hour train journey and overnight stay in the travel lodge. 2 of the nicest blokes I’ve met in my life I will never forget this experience.

This was my go-to place for takeout over the last year while living in student accommodation. A friend recommended it for the pizza (my favourite is the chicken and mushroom), and they also have great burgers. Friendly staff, great prices, and open late. Love it.

Tiny, mostly take out, with very reasonable prices, superior pizzas and quick service.

My original review from 2 years ago said "some of the best pizza in town", but tonight we were served: - too much dough that was undercooked and tested of nothing - tomato sauce that tasted of nothing - no herbs or garlic or anything that could have contributed to it tasting of anything whatsoever The guy who made the pizza was also clearly overworked and did not want to be there, he could not remember anybody's order. Honestly, a pinch of salt and something green, and using a lot less dough would have made it a pleasant experience. So disappointing.

You get cheap pizza . A 10' inch would cost you mere 3 bucks but don't expect it to be too great in quality. But given the cost, really good deal for people on budget

Arrived in Edinburgh late at night and searched for a place to get some food. Luckily we found this place by accident and took two super delicious pizzas with us. The guys in the place were super friendly and for a second we thought about getting back and having a third pizza.

If im honest im disappointed. I was expecting something more authentic in terms of a stone baked Italian style pizza. Instead we got a deep pan base of mediocre greasyness. The person who served and cooked it for us said a total of two words during the experience, almost as if we were inconveniencing him by even being there... my guess is that its someone who lost passion for the job a long time ago. I hate to say it, but we were left wishing we just went to Dominos.
