The best restaurants in Scotland

Popped in today for lunch. Excellent food and super friendly staff. If you are in Muir of Ord it's a great place to pop in for a wee snack.

Having been recommended the food in here, I was so disappointed. This was easily the worst fish and chips I’ve had since moving to Dundee 6 years ago

Exceptional service and well prepared meals. Impressed that all five main course dishes were served at the same time, with plates that had been warmed. All the dishes were hot, tasty and cooked fresh to order. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious, so much variety. Very fresh food, beautiful flavours. The decorations are amazing and overall very authentic Restaurant. Highly suggest!

I am used to go to Xoko at least once a month. I love the place, the food, but there is always something wrong with the order. Something that misses, something that is not right... and the owner that is always on the attention side (Tristan), sometimes get a bit rude. I understand you, Tristan, lots of pressure and customers at the same time, but take it easy 😊. Overall, love the place and you, guys, are very nice, just had to share the feedback!

I absolutely love this small street style Thai cafe. The food is amazing, with great service and very reasonable pricing! Take your own drink. Best to book.

As a Vietnamese person, this restaurant serves a very authentic homemade Vietnamese pho! A lot of beef in the bowl. Restaurant owner is very nice with a big smile. Highly recommended!

Small coffee shop and bakery in the centre of Dunkeld. Interesting choice of sandwiches and pastries for eat in and takeaway.

I visited the cafe with my dad as he wanted some fish and chips. I haven’t seen the owner in nearly 30 years but he’s lost none of his customers skills, a true welcoming host. The cafe was nice and warm considering it was a horrible night outside. Our order was quick and the food on the table shortly after. The fish was incredible, big scales, a nice crisp batter without any grease. It was great to catch up with Ian and I’m sure we will be back soon.

Our first time at the Spice of Life and it will certainly not be the last. The food was excellent and the portions were most generous. Service was also excellent, attentive without being intrusive. It also has the benefit of their own parking to the rear of the restaurant.

Lovely cafe. Both breakfast and lunch menus are fab and the baked goods are exceptional. Highly recommended. Highlights are soup with a cheese scone and the muffins.

Great cafe. We stopped here for brunch with friends. Service was great, staff were very friendly. Food was delicious, we ordered vegetarian Scottish breakfast which was lovely, also the poached eggs with salmon. Would definitely recommend!

Gluten free bagels very good as are the normal ones, nice place and not too expensive, good coffee too. Not much space inside if you're wanting to sit in however.

Had a wonderful meal at Greenside Restaurant. We can certainly see why they have such good reviews! Food was excellent and plentiful and the service was second to none. The wood burner was roaring and the atmosphere was great. Shame we are only here on holiday for a few days as would definitely go back!
