Table Twenty Eight in Glasgow City

Ross the member of staff today couldn't be More helpful. Came here today as my son had given me a gift voucher for wine and charcuterie. Excellent experience. Ross has to be so in love with his job. Gluten free not a problem. My wife was so impressed with service . Ross took the time to advise different dishes and showed different menus. The boars head croquettes were wonderful as was the pork. Equally stunning was the potato dish that Ross recommended to my wife. Free cocktail to the wife and a free pudding for me cos its my birthday. Wonderful service. We will.be back

My friend & I had lunch at Table Twenty Eight for the first time on Easter Sunday. Staff were friendly & attentive. We ate three courses from the set menu. Food was well presented, perfectly portioned & delicious!! Stand out dish for me was the tomahawk pork chop which was very tasty & served with really lovely sides. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend!

There was 7 of us, we booked here because of the good reviews and set menu, as we were travelling for business. We arrived and were told the set menu was not an option, it finished at 4pm. We showed them their own website which said 4-7 and were then given the menus. The staff were functional but there was no welcoming atmosphere. We were sat inside where the lights have this really annoying flickering, which is surprisingly off putting. The food was nice for the £25 set menu but it would not be worth the full price. Nothing made us go "wow" and the cranachan was really really poor. Wouldn't go back and if someone asked me, I'd say its not worth it, there are better places to eat.

Had a lovely meal here last night with five of my friends. The food was outstanding, and we were served by a great waitress called Jules. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent, and you could tell she was a genuinely warm and friendly person. A real asset to a great place! X

Absolutely Delicious meal for Mothers Day .. we all had Sunday Roast Menu and it was spectacular! Starters/ Mains Deserts so well presented and cooked to perfection! Visit if you can!

This was a great return visit, as before the food and service was excellent. Everyone really enjoyed their meal - we all agreed the Mussels were the best we’ve ever had! Great friendly service and most importantly we never felt rushed . We will definitely go back.

Went into Merchant Square for a wee look tonight. A quick look at the menue and we were in. The Scallops were to die for ( didn't want it to finish) Followed by the Venison and yum again ! The server was very pleasant and informative ( a very nice manner) Definitely worth the money Will be back

Seriously good food, and fabulous choices for both of us, especially since he's a picky meat eater and I'm vegetarian. The polenta and aubergine to die for and the salad could not have been tastier, especially with the fresh olives. Beautiful surroundings toi

Booked Table 28 for a 60th birthday celebration lunch with friends and family . Found the online booking system easy to use. Have to say the hospitality and service we received on the on the day from Ross and the girls was second to none. From the moment we arrived until we left, I have to say I have not come across a more genuinely friendly and attentive team, nothing was too much bother for them. The restaurant is open on to the courtyard in merchant square, we did not let the cheers from those watching football in one of the bars put us off. As it was a party of twenty, they requested that we pre order earlier in the week so that they could ensure everyone could get what they wanted and that we would all be served on time. I have to say they were true to their word each course was delivered to everyone together, so we could all eat together, no waiting about for someone’s starter to arrive, nothing missed out. The service was quick, efficient and their system clearly works. We chose mostly from the Sunday Roast menu, with a couple of selections from the main menu and the Vegan/vegetarian options. The portions were just the right size for a lunch, the quality superb, I could have easily eaten another serving of the roast potatoes, they were so good. We had to under eights in our party and they treated them like royalty, chatting with them about what they wanted to eat and making them their burger and chicken nuggets, the girls loved the attention. Absolutely no complaints, a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all. My only quibble, I had ordered three bottles of red wine and three bottles of white wine, but only two red and one white made it to the tables. The six made it to the bill. Not a complaint given that when serving a party of twenty with different orders for soft drinks, beer etc, it gets chaotic. Perhaps we mis counted maybe the waiting staff did, but not letting that spoil an afternoon of tasty food, nice surroundings and fantastic service. I will be back.

We bought vouchers for the family for the charcuterie board and we all loved everything that was served. They were described as small plates and we had a few sides to go with the boards. The whole evening was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

First time in this restaurant and we hade made up our minsd within a few minutes that we would be back. We had a warm eelcome and nice chat with the General Manager. The atmosphere was laid back but professional. It's a lovely restaurant, nicely presented and immaculate. All waiting staff were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the charcuterie board, potatoes in a creamy cheese sauce and the venison and port pie. All very nice. I think I will sample the oysters next time. Overall, a thoroughly enjoable experience and I wish all of the staff the very best with this new venture.

Great spot, lovely service and well presented food. Cocktails were good and good selection of wine, will be back in the New Year.

Came in for dinner. Dined off a la carte menu. Had couple of starters to share and some steaks to finish off. Overall food was fantastic, highly recommend rogan josh croquettes. Steaks were fabulous and cooked the way we like it. Will definitely return.

It's been a long time since I've felt compelled to write such a positive review as the one I'm about to give you for Table Twenty Eight We visited tonight for a special occasion for my husband and we absolutely blown away by the hospitality, the food quality and the pice of the meal. We had the oysters to start (I have never tasted better, absolutely incredible) followed by a rib-eye, a tomahawk pork and multiple sides which were simply stunning. The finale, a sticky toffee pudding nearly killed off my better half as it was so good and washed down with an amazing red wine could not have provided a better experience. Thankyou SO MUCH Table Twenty Eight - You may be quite new to the Glasgow culinary scene but we absolutely could not have chosen better and it was a joy to experience your amazing food and hospitality ☺️☺️☺️

The service was great but the food was outstanding! Not sure what else to say - please go here. The sides were stunning, and the oysters fantastic. And the mains out of this works.
