They offer great flexibility, allowing you to switch seamlessly between the Italian *table d’hôte* (a *prezzo fisso*) lunch menu at £29.95 and dinner menu at £39.95, and their à la carte options. Adjustments for dietary requirements or personal preferences are never an issue—nothing is too much trouble for the team. Each dish was a masterpiece—beautifully presented, generously portioned, and bursting with authentic Italian flavours. Every bite was a delight. Tiziano, the proprietor, along with Pasquale and Aldo, delivered impeccable service. Their attentive yet unobtrusive approach made us feel valued and well cared for throughout the meal. All in all, it was an outstanding lunchtime experience in delightful surroundings, enhanced by a team that genuinely understands hospitality. *La Vigna* is a true treasure, and I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a first-class Italian dining experience. After searching for restaurants on Bute before our visit there, The Waterfront's reviews were consistently good, so we booked for the beginning of our holiday. We were not disappointed! The food was truly delicious, but not only that, we and the couple we met at the next table enjoyed a very entertaining evening of fun and banter. So much so, we were both there again a few nights later, we had enjoyed it so much, and of course we wanted to try more of the outstanding food. Thank you Gabriel and the Waterfront for making our stay on Bute that much more memorable! 5 stars without a doubt and highly recommended.

Very dour and unfriendly staff and no skimmed or semi skimmed milk! Left and went elsewhere

A lovely little tea ship that has an old fashioned feel. Real china cups and lovely setting. Simple but lovely good for with great scones and bakes. A little tight if you have a push chair or wheel chair but the staff are really helpful.

One of our favourite places to while away some time on a lazy Friday afternoon. Cosy, friendly and a happy wee place. The food is always exceptional. I had croque madame, but with Lucasz's Polish flair of course. The most beautiful smoked pastrami and home made secret sauce, cheesy bechamel and pickles. Traditional fluffy Christmas sponge cake and tea. It's a warm and welcoming place, come rain or shine. Edyta is an impeccable host. She and her husband Lucasz make a perfect team

Brilliant food. You do not miss meat at all (if you're not a veggie, I am not). Great wine list (too much natural wine for me, but my party loved it). Staff are all interested and interesting. Pricing is super fair and for the quality, underpriced. I cannot stand (or understand) the dishes coming out, and they are ready rather than in an orderly usable fashion, but that's what Sylvan does, so I cannot mark them down for that. The tomatoes are overrated, but the food was brilliant.
