Probably one of the best take aways in Grantown. Amazing Thai food for all ages. Highly recommend the chicken pad mhe, massive portions of noodles and filled rice. Reasonable priced too

We discovered this fantastic restaurant by chance and were absolutely delighted. My wife is Thai and she raved about how authentic the food was, you really cannot get a better compliment than that. The staff were lovely and you can tell this is a family run business with passion.

We had a lovely dinner here and would recommend it to others. The chicken with cashews stir fry had loads of cashews - a pleasant surprise as these are often lacking in similar dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the pineapple fried rice which complimented the chicken dish well. The best thing was the food was very tasty without being overly spicy. The only thing that let it down was that the restaurant itself was quite cold as there was a problem with the heaters. I hope this could be rectified soon.

Ordered takeaway .. nothing fancy as the menu is very limited for a Thai. The reviews I read said yep this will be good .. egg fried rice claggy and lumpy and never seen an egg in its life .. Green curry was chicken pieces in a green paste .. crispy duck was simply a duck breast sliced and coated with a spice of some description. The taste was not Thai as I know it. I can't say enough good things about Po Pia. Some of my favourite dishes include the comforting chicken soup, which always warms my soul. The pineapple fried rice is a burst of sweet and savoury flavours that never disappoint. Red curry chicken; it's a perfect balance of spice and creaminess. To start the meal, the vegetable spring rolls are a must-try. The combination of flavors and textures in their dishes is truly amazing. Whether dining in or taking out, Po Pia Thai never fails to impress.

We were visiting Grantown on Spey in our motorhome and had walked out to find something to eat, although we don’t eat meat, we eat fish and shell fish. We had nearly given up looking and came across this little gem of a restaurant. We were lucky enough to be able to order a takeaway, they were fully booked for eat in and as we had dogs we didn’t need that. We ordered a king prawn and a vegetable red Thai curry and plain and king prawn pad Thai. It took us just over 10 minutes to get back to the caravan park and the food stayed really warm. I can honestly say it was one of the best Thai takeaways we have ever had and we’ve had our fair share over the years. The food was beautifully prepared and cooked fresh. If you get the chance to eat in the restaurant, don’t hesitate, I do not believe you would be disappointed.

On my travels, it’s awesome to come across great restaurants and cafes. Read the good review for Po Pia and we decided to try it. We absolutely enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered - Thai mixed platter, duck pancakes, egg fried rice, pad thai, sweet & sour pork, cashew nut stir fry prawn and cashew nut stir fry chicken. Authentic Thai food. Great service as well! Highly recommend it!

Ordered a takeaway, phoned through was ready when we arrived, food was really nice, (could have had a larger portion), also very short opening hours but overall no problem and would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

My husband and I visited her when we were holidaying in the area. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a go. I have to say we were not disappointed. We had a sharing starter, everything on there was delicious and it was just a nice size. For mains we decided to share pad Thai, ginger stir fry with beef and massaman chicken curry, it was all amazing. I’m not a massive eater but we polished off the lot! I had planned to take pictures of the food but to be honest once I tasted it I didn’t give a second thought about photographing it! To top everything off the staff were all lovely, really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

The food tasted great (we had takeaway) but prawn pad Thai came with just three prawns and after checking their menu online later, we discovered we had been over-charged by about 10%. If that was a service charge, that shouldn't be applied to a takeaway. We won't be going back.

Fantastic meal. Everything was delicious and we were so impressed at how they made the effort to accommodate one of our parties food allergies. So kind, helpful and it meant we ALL had a really super meal out together. Super special. Next time we're in the area Po-Pia will definitely be our go-to venue.

Awesome food!!!! We ordered a takeaway and we couldn’t fault it at all. We had a few starters, 2 curry’s and one noodle/rice and was enough to have for two days. Try the pineapple fried rice - WOW. We pre ordered a couple days before and something we pre ordered was no longer available due to deliveries but we were informed and suitable replacements offered. Oh my goodness, I absolutely love Thai food and Po Pia is fantastic!!! We live local so go to Po Pia quite a bit. It’s always our first choice for takeaways. I’m not a veggie, but tend to choose veggie dishes because they are piled high with fresh veg from the local dairy - all the ingredients are such good quality. It’s hard to pick a favourite dish here as everything is so good! I highly recommend Po Pia for great food, lovely welcoming service and a great atmosphere.

Some lovely tastes, definitely - but not at all content to arrive home after collecting food after a long day to find that no rice was included in the order… I phoned to query and the justification was that it said so ‘on the menu’. Bearing in mind that we were visiting, walking in on a recommendation, and hoping for a great meal, we paid £42 for 2 Thai curry’s and an egg fried rice, but were not told that we would need to order supporting rice separately. I had to rustle up other food at home as it simply wasn’t enough for three people. Yes the food was good, tasty but disappointed….
