Fantastic roast dinner for under £15

Just a nice chillin place for good food and coffee,

Great place. We're at the Tarland trails pitenderich, and my bike broke down. Took it to the bike shop to get fixed and came here for a lovely brunch in the mean time. Had a veggie breakfast and a coffee, all of which was top teir. Will come again.

Popped in for Breakfast before heading off after a two night stay in Motorhome. Very tasty breakfast and great value for money and very friendly staff. Last time I was in here was when it was Fowlies the Grocer shop - few years ago now ! Well worth a visit if you are in the village or make a point of stopping if passing through. Thanks

Nice little tea room and they were open on monday.

It might have helped if the sun was shining , the premises is ok , its clean and the food was nice , the staff were friendly and really helpful .

If you’re biking , do NOT go past this fantastic wee tea room. Cakes, coffee , panini, soup all to do for after hard day biking . ( they cater for all types of dietary requirement’s )

We have never been in this tearoom before. Never new it was there. A nice little tea room full of fresh food & home bakes. We had soup & sandwich. Soup today was carrot & red pepper. It was more red pepper than carrot, which I say not in a bad way. It was really nice. I bought a double shortbread home bake to take away as could not have eaten anymore. Have since eaten this with tea. I can absolutely recommend it. One of the best I have had in a long time 🥲. Nice to see a small business doing well in such a small place. Well done ladies😀

Lunching alone today, popped in and was greeted warmly by lovely friendly ladies. Delicious home made carrot soup with a very good warm cheese scone. The chicken pinwheels with chips and beans certainly hit the spot, and the home made cakes are the best I have tasted in a long while! Coffee was delicious too. Well done TTR, I’ll be back again.

A great stop for the cold wet mountain bikers that just graced the Tarland trail centre... Like us... Quick service and excellent selection of high energy cakes that you really really need after a big ride.

I had a small breakfast and it was delicious. Generpus portions, free refills of tea and coffee and toast galore!

On our way to Loch Ness, we stopped for breakfast at this inconspicuous little restaurant. We ordered breakfast for 3 people. Full breakfast, small breakfast and omelette. Both me, my partner and her dad were delighted with the size of the portions which tasted delicious. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate for my beloved partner were delicious. Now we know that we have to visit this place again, this time to try the cake and coffee.

Popped in for lunch with the family today, we had the roast beef which was amazing! Our son had the kids meal which was also excellent. Will be sure to come in past more often for a cake and coffee while at Tarland Trails.

Great place for breakfast lunch or tea. Not much in Tarland ( unless you are into trail biking😁), however, the tearooms make Tarland a place to visit.

What a nice place. The food is great and the scones are big and tasty. Would recommend a visit soon as we will again.

It seemed a bit chaotic with lots of staff on but not really coordinated. It took a while to be seen to at either end of our meal but the food was great.

Very extensive menu for a small village café. Easy parking outside in the square, or a short walk from the EV chargers (which are shown as ChargePlace Scotland but are Connected Kerb, so I had a bit of a faff upgrading my app which had not been used for several months, but straightforward eventually). The entire village exudes charm. Obviously well cared for. Free WiFi in the cafe.

Stopped for coffee here, lovely assortment of cakes, I opted for a cheese scone, it was delicious.

Great little place. We went twice, once for coffee and cake and once for breakfast. If you prefer the large breakfast make sure you are hungry. Good value too.

Been to the tearooms quite a few times and it is always good

Soup was very bland and had hairs in it with hairs in the bread aswell not to mention the workers looked very overworked so created a fairly gloomy atmosphere and they looked unusually young will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone who wants some food without hairs in it

Sometimes pop in for a take away coffee if I'm passing. Occasionally a bacon and egg roll. Might be a bit slow service sometimes , but to be expected in a smaller place. Quality, price and service are always spot on. Traybakes are fine 🙂

Ordered afternoon takeaway today and it was first class Good selection of sandwiches sausage rolls scones and cakes So tasty Will definitely be back again

FABULOUS Thank you. Visited today as we tour the area. The best black pudding roll I’ve had in a long time. Tea cups warmed (I love that detail!) Welcoming atmosphere and friendly local hub. We found the prices fair and happily recommend for a cozy stop for anyone touring.

Visited today and ordered a sandwich to take away. Think it might have been a bit a late so was nice that they agreed to make it. However, for nearly £7 I would have expected nicer bread and it to have been cut with a sharp knife, I also asked for salad which was not included...I visited this place a while ago before it changed name or ?ownership but unfortunately doesn't seem to be up to the same standard...
