The Knowes Hotel, Restaurant and Function Suite in Aberdeenshire

Went here for an evening meal last weekend. It was awesome. The food is top-notch. Brilliant views. Friendly staff. Very clean. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be going back.

Probably the best Scottish hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are in a new extension that I understand was opened just a couple of months ago, so are in really good condition - the decor is really nice and well put together. I literally cannot fault the cleanliness - everything was absolutely spotless. The rooms have big TVs, a decent-sized desk, kettle and tea/coffee, hairdryer, ironing facilities, electronic safe, just your usual stuff. Very spacious, and the beds are big and comfortable. Lots of storage space, too. The breakfast was nice, just your usual continental/cooked options but the quality was excellent. The dining room has quite a nice elevated view over the town/sea and across to Banff. I didn't bother with evening meals but I gather that it's really highly rated locally. All the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly, kindly stored my bag before and after staying. All in all, 10/10.

Amazing place, great location on the hill with sea view, room very modern and cosy, strong shower, clean and warm. Nice looking bar/restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend

Ordered a christmas dinner takeaway pack (smaller one feeds 4 - 6). Collected christmas eve! It was amazing!! Instructions were super easy and spot on. Turkey turned out delicious. Will definitely be returning next year! Well worth the price 👌🏻 Love the Bissets

Have come for brunch a good few times and always had a great experience. The food is delicious and good portion sizes. Drinks are great too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is really nice and cosy.

Great meal, friendly and attentive staff and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. We were the last ones out but was never out under pressure to leave.

The food was 5 star rating it was worth coming from Sheffield England 4 empty plates, the staff are lovely and every little thing from the veiw to the cup of tea was just a pleasure. Our visit was a surprise a very grand one thankyou .

When it came to celebrating 🍾 my 60th birthday 🎂 , there was only one place that I wanted to dine out. We used to be massive fans of The Pitsligo Arms in New Pitsligo, and the Knowes Hotel is the only place that's came remotely close to filling that void. Their food is exceptionally good, and the venue is excellent. It's my goto place these days. 👍🏻😁👍🏻

I can not praise The Knowes staff enough. We booked a table for 8, but 9 of us actually came, and they quickly added an extra place. They also decorated the table with pre bought items for my girls' graduation, without fuss, and finally presented her with a cake I provided and was happy for us to eat it there. The food was amazing, really good quality and nicely presented. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and I will definitely come back and recommend 👌 👍

Another wonderful dinner celebrating our anniversary. The food was so good, the ambiance fabulous, service always brilliant from the best staff ever. Loved every minute.
