Visited as part of a group of 12 this weekend and WOW!! Everything was incredible. 12 extremely happy guys, many of whom suggested it was the best Indian food they'd ever eaten!! Delicious food, incredible service....5 stars isn't enough. We'll be back!!

If you’re ever in Bishopthorpe, I highly recommend visiting this charming pub! We had the pleasure of reserving a table, and the whole experience was fantastic. The the pie—absolutely outstanding. The photos don’t do it justice. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Plus, it’s great to know that they’re dog-friendly, so our four-legged friend was just as welcome as we were! A perfect spot for a cozy meal with great food, service, and atmosphere. I can’t wait to return!

Unfortunately did not have a great experience here due to mistakes that could have been avoided, we booked a table for a work celebration there was about 20 of us, we preordered based off the menu online. I had preordered penne marinara from their online menu, as I am from England I understood that this was just a tomato pasta sauce, and there is nothing on their online menu to suggest marinara is seafood, however I received a penne pasta with tomato sauce and seafood. My sister is allergic to seafood and I don’t eat it to keep her safe. I told them I didn’t order seafood penne, he became angry and shouted at me that I did, I asked to see the menu when he showed me, that’s when we all realised their online menu is different to the one in the restaurant, he brought me a menu to say marinara is seafood, but this is not mentioned on the online menu we used when we preordered, and unfortunately being English and not being Italian, marinara in England is just tomato garlic sauce not seafood like it is in Italy, my fault for not knowing marinara means seafood in Italian but the manager or owner who was serving us just began shouting at me. A female waitress apologised and moved him away from me and brought me just a tomato penne pasta said sorry again and understood what had happened and fixed the issue without an issue, clearly a mistake on both parts. After I’d eaten it the angry manager came over and asked me how my seafood pasta was sarcastically. 3 or 4 of us preordered the online menu tomato garlic bread to start, and one of us ordered a tomato garlic bread for their main. But when it arrived in the restaurant it was a plain garlic pizza bread, as their menu in their restaurant is different to the one online and doesn’t include tomato. Also despite pre ordering two of the starters were missing and had to be chased up 10 mins or so after we had all eaten our starters and the same happened again for our mains, two were missing and a side of chips which we had to chase up. We spent about £582 and just didn’t feel we had a good experience despite pre ordering and we even brought our pre order on a document with us to make sure we were organised when we got there. Food was excellent however and we had a good time. Just a shame to be shouted at in a restaurant by the manager at what clearly was a genuine mistake, as I don’t speak Italian.

We found this cafe on Tripadvisor and decided to visit for breakfast. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and service was good. The food was tasty and the seasonal lattes were amazing! Our dogs enjoys their puppaccinos too!

Excelente servicio fantástico absolutamente increíble pescado y patatas fritas cocinado en pura carne de vaca que gotea que es pura carne que gotea, el pescado era enorme? Increíble servicio mmmmm nuestra camarera era tan alegre e interactivo a pesar de estar muy ocupado sirviendo a todos aquí! ¡Deff recomiendo! Los precios son buenos para la cantidad de comida servida, ¡deberíamos traer al gran Dan aquí desde mi comida! ¡Estaría bien chuffed!

We went to Molly's Tearooms for lunch one Saturday. York was packed and it was a bit hard to find because of all the people milling about, but we were glad we made the effort. We decided on jacket potatoes with creamed mushrooms and the lady apologised and said they only had one potato left, but offered us the mushrooms with toast instead. She said the mushrooms came in a separate dish so the toast wouldn’t get soggy. Our meal arrived very quickly and we shared the toast and potato. The mushrooms were absolutely delicious and plenty of them. Very pleasant staff and a lovely little tearoom. We recommended the place to our next-door neighbours who went two days ago and they also thought it was great. We’ll be back!

Hemos estado en este restaurante varias veces, y decidimos parar para almorzar al pasar por la zona de nuevo. Los visitantes en coche deben introducir su número de registro en la pantalla del mostrador para evitar cargos por estancia en el aparcamiento adyacente. Nos dieron la bienvenida y rápidamente se nos mostró a una mesa. El menú del almuerzo ofrece una buena selección de dos opciones de platos y se pueden satisfacer los requisitos dietéticos. Nos dimos cuenta de que los precios habían aumentado, y cuando se sirvió, los tamaños de las porciones se habían reducido, pero todavía era suficiente para nuestros apetitos. La calidad de la comida era buena y el servicio era bastante rápido. En general, el valor siguió siendo bueno, y todavía seguiríamos visitando.

40 of us on a car run had our food here and it didn't disappoint. Good service, good food, well served.
