Came in on a quiet evening and staff were fantastic.

Highly overrated. Shisha lounge was disastrous... The seating is very uncomfortable, not much variety of non-alcoholic drinks..... Shisha tasted sooooo weird and the flavours did not taste very nice and burnt very quickly. We went there after reading the reviews but it is highly overrated and hyped. Nothing special about the place and is expensive in comparison to other places.

Any other Shisha place on earth, they replace the coals for you. They give you the Shisha for 1 hour (£20) during which time coals start to fade out after about 35 mins. Ask for coal to he replaced, they charge you an extra £5. Not impressed. Walmgate Inn is 1000x better. You pay £12 for Shisha, get it for AS LONG AS YOU WANT and the staff replace the coals every 20 mins.

Amazing staff all the managers were great, shisha is so so good I can’t wait to come here again, ruby is a great server and the people doing the shisha I can not complain serious so good thank you guys

they have xante! anna victoria parkhouse was absolutely fantastic she just knew exactly what she was doing and i felt so comfortable having her around my drinks. accompanying floor staff also were magnificently professional, with isaac, phoebe, maisie and adaora providing us with creme dela creme customer service along with a splash of good old banter. and they do spicy margs!!!

Stopped in for a hookah after getting drinks at evil eye, had a great night. Great vibe and sheesh options. Really liked the hookah very easy to smoke and the patio was warm and inviting

Really good pub. Went there for a few drinks and shisha with 2 of my friends. Lucy was really kind and sweet, along with the other servers, often asking us if we need anything and offering free popcorn. One of the best places to chill in York.
