The best restaurants in Streonshalh Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

The service here is amazing, super helpful and friendly and I can highly recommend the Yorkshire Fatties. We bought some last year on our holiday to Whitby, we have been back this week on holiday and have bought some more. I pre-ordered 8 to bring home too 🙂 I would highly recommend you visit if you are in Whitby.

Visited twice this weekend, lunch Friday, breakfast this morning before leaving for home .Staff are lively,very helpful, food delicious, generous portions. Best coffee in a cafe that I have had for a long time. Thank you all,see you next time!

Cannot beat whitby brewery for its beers, pizzas, the scenery with the Abbey. The staff are fantastic, polite,friendly and a good laugh.

Been visiting Whitby for years but first time we’ve been in here. Service was excellent, we were made to feel welcome. Amazing Ales on tap, real little time capsule. Will be back 😊

Very good selection, and my wife enjoyed her Gluten free meal.

Visited on 01.02.25 with my wife, daughter and dog. Ordered the £18.95 special which included a regular cod, chips, peas, pot of tea and bread. I requested haddock with the skin removed but was refused this option. When the food arrived, the regular cod was no bigger than a battered sausage. Thin throughout and poor. I had to request more chips as my wife’s portion was almost double the small quantity of scrappy chips I had been given. The mushy peas although tasty, were a cold smear at the side of the plate. My wife found 3 large bones in her fish. The bread was stale too. Overall hugely disappointing and overly expensive.

Great pub, always pop in when in Whitby. It's always really popular. The lady who owns it is lovely, a real traditional pub with a good atmosphere. Good food yapas (Yorkshire tapas) good pint and dog friendly.

Booked to go on new year's Eve around 3 months before The night before at 10pm they cancelled our booking with no explanation. Eaten there before and I usually recommend four seasons, but I will not recommend it any more. Poor service!
