The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

I stayed at the Halfway House B&B while working in Leeds, its a lovely pub with great ales, friendly welcoming staff and locals alike. The girl behind the bar even recommended places to get an evening meal. The bar itself was very clean and decorated nicely with large tv screens, pool table and darts board. The room I stayed in was what seemed to be in a converted house joined onto the pub. The room was very modern, spotlessly clean with comfortable furnishings and bed. The following morning I had a lovely cooked breakfast (i had veggie option but there was a great choice to suit all) with toast, Juice and tea, served in the bar area of the pub by a friendly lady who couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm working up there.

Fairly quiet when I got there about 1030 on a Saturday. Very welcoming when asked for a table for one, no rushing at all whilst there. Had chai latte - nice flavour, would recommend and the eggs royale ( Benedict with smoked salmon). Really nice, very good hollandaise, eggs lovely and runny (maybe a bit of runny white if thats something that bothers).

We had a sandwich each. Very nice, lots of killing, salad, and crisps. Good value. The tea was good as well. Dog friendly.

Really nice mix meat and chips the quality of the meats are top quality will be definitely going back for the lamb and pork 😋

When it comes to casseroles, unfortunately the portion is micro and the price is astronomical for such a small portion

We have eaten here 5 times in total and we have never been disappointed once. Great food and great atmosphere.

It was a private party but people what was not invited and specially with a dog kept walking through not very good with food laid out

I recently dined at Daisy Bar restaurant, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The food was absolutely delicious – each dish was full of flavor, and the presentation was beautiful. It's clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and the chefs know how to bring out the best in every meal. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from the restaurant Manager: Freddie. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His helpfulness and warm attitude really made a difference, and it's rare to find such excellent customer service. I highly recommend Daisy Bar restaurant for both the amazing food and the exceptional service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really nice little restaurant. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was delicious! My son had Bolognese which he said was 'the best'. The atmosphere was nice, lovely easy listening music. The staff and service was very good. Thank you.

First time back for quite a while, but took my 93 year young mum for tea. Everyone really friendly in helping her choose the right curry ... and gin 🍸 Delicious food, generous portions, very reasonable price, with a wee doggy bag for what couldn't be eaten. Definitely one to return to
