Close to a Michelin star. Food was beautiful. Minor disappointments only on the plate to be picky. Wine list is ordinary and needs work. Service excellent. A lovely restaurant. Sheffield is lucky to have you.

Been wanting to come here for a long time and it didn't disappoint. Food came out quick and looked great. Also catered to my gluten intollerance really well and it didn't change the experience for me becouse the food was stil great.

I was excited to come and see this place as I’d had brunch once at their previous restaurant. I took my parents who were visiting as they like fancy food. Firstly my dad asked for more bread and we were told they only make enough for the numbers so the answer was no. I understand about managing food waste but that didn’t seem to be the reason, it felt very stingy. Secondly my partridge was undercooked on the thighs which was poor, and I didn’t say anything, (which I know I should have) because the service was also poor. For a very expensive meal I think there is room for improvement. I won’t be coming back for now.

Fabulous food, great service, and a buzzy atmosphere. We were so glad to hear that the restaurant was reopening. It's just as good as its previous incarnation and the Milestone has returned to its former glory!!!

The food is absolutely gorgeous here and totally lived up to my expectations best food ive had in Sheffield for sometime. Service excellent. Only suggestion for improvement is chairs are plastic and slightly to low for tables only by a few centimetres but could be more comfortable and need to be higher.

We came the Friday before Christmas. There was a lovely vibe but didn't feel too busy or chaotic. The service was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was the highlight of course - the choice was the perfect balance of classic and interesting and it tasted lovely. Overall, really good value for a high quality meal. What a treat!

Absolutely amazing , first time visiting definitely not the last , every mouthful was beautiful

We have been waiting to come here for ages. Booked to eat here last night with family. One if our party is pregnant and struggling to eat much because of nausea. They didn't want to cancel their place as know impact on local restaurants. We asked could they order and pay for 1 course given the circumstance. We were told there was no option other than to have the set menu. Which for £60 comes in very steep if you can only eat one course. Disappointing lack of flexibility and for this reason, we will not be back. The food was average but certainly not good value when you compare to some of the other fantastic restaurants in Sheffield.

I dined here recently with friends. We felt the food quality was excellent, but the whole experience was let down by the atmosphere of the restaurant. We were seated upstairs where the music was too loud and the seats were a bit uncomfortable which didn’t reflect the quality of the offering. We really wanted to share this because we feel the food was exceptional and if a few tweaks to the music and general atmosphere were made it would be somewhere we would return to. It’s a shame also because the downstairs restaurant looked lovely.

Very nice but wasn't blown away. My husband's dessert was the star of the show The red wine was served very cold. Atmosphere a bit stiff.

I love restaurants like this. Unique experience with a short menu with everything prepared to perfection. I like to try things that I normally cannot make at home, so I started with the Pigeon, then a Mushroom Tart, and ended with lemon meringue pie. I split a bottle of Argentina Malbec with my buddy. Service and food were fantastic. Stop in - you won’t be disappointed.

Meets up to the expectations of a Michelin guide restaurant; Service was excellent, no rushing at all, very friendly people. Food was incredibly tasty and well cooked. I opted for the Monkfish starter which was unbelievable, the main I had the partridge which was the first time for me, and didn’t disappoint. Desert a custard tart with brown sugar, yum!As well as the three courses we also had a focaccia starter, and a further cheese based canapé. I sat upstairs which gives you a view of the kitchen. Overall, a great experience and at £160 for a couple with a bottle of wine, it’s not a cheap dinner but worth every penny.

Upmarket bistro feel inside, fantastic food and service.

Amazing food and great place we visited in July. Classy atmosphere , not overwhelming as you would typically expect from Michelin stars, the staff we’re brilliant and down to earth people. Ambiance was perfect We couldn’t finish the whole 3 courses & skipped dessert . Elegant food and amazing dishes we had the fresh beef Tatar , octopus for starters We also was given canapés before starters arrived Cod loin and beef for mains , amazing,

Nice enough place to eat, but not as high quality as the photos and reviews suggest. There is too much salt, sugar and butter in every dish. The tartar was excellent mind you

The food, drinks and service were excellent. Great value for money and absolutely delicious. The only negative was the dining chairs. They looked fantastic but were too low for the table and so uncomfortable I had to keep standing up for a bit of respite. I do have creaky old bones but it definitely put a downer on what was otherwise an excellent evening. I did mention it to our lovely server and she offered to move us to one of the benches we were at desert stage so didn't take up the offer, but what great customer service. Will certainly return but I'll maybe take a cushion or ask to be seated on the benches at point of booking.

We had a Great evening at Juke & Loe. With their 3 course evening dinner. I am coeliac and have to eat gluten free. There were multiple options for me across all three courses. Which was wonderful. And they even made really good gluten-free focaccia. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed in the restaurant, and the service was great. Friendly and helpful throughout. The food was really tasty. We like the small menu and the range of flavours... It was very filling too. Thank you to Juke and Loe for a lovely birthday meal.

Wow. The service was as bad as the food was good. If you enjoy the service of a New York deli, this is your place. No one will remember your order, ask if you’d enjoyed literally anything, and if you ask for a second piece of bread you will be denied. The most annoying service I’ve experienced in years. I would never return to this restaurant and yet they are fully staffed with people who could care less and are not interested in telling you about what you’re eating let alone refill your water glass or bring you some wine. The failure of service here is absolute. If you value service w your food, steer clear.

Not a wide ranging menu. Although the food was cooked well and the staff were very nice. The music was an interesting choice for dinner, rock ballads and a little loud to hear each other across the table, but it was turned down when asked.

Everything about the appetizers and main dishes was perfect, except that the fried pork rinds were a little salty and the asparagus had a little too much oil. For dessert, we only recommend earl gray. Three dishes for 50 pounds during the week is highly recommended!

Total meh. Over priced at every stage. The only thing to make it bearable were the other customers. £150 for 1 (not 2) starter, 2 mains and a bottle of wine. Utter joke. Pleasant staff but clearly farcical management.

Loved it all, small menu because it is top quality

The menu is limited to 3 starters, 3 mains, and 4 desserts, but the quality was excellent. £40 for 3 courses may seem a little pricey, but it's worth paying for a great experience. The crispy duck starter in particular was devine and more like a main! The options were very tasty and good portions. Service was also good and the private dining room made for a fantastic experience for 10. The choice of music didn't exactly add to the ambience (!), but a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We had lunch for my partners birthday. For the excellent standard of cooking the vegetarian options were sadly lacking creativity. Starter was asparagus, just omitted the crab to make it veggie but nothing additional appeared to be added. Main was gnocchi which was lovely but guess what, more asparagus! Would have preferred the gnocchi as a starter and something more creative as a main. Deserts were very lovely.

The best place in Sheffield. I have never had a Sunday roast as good as Juke and Loes! Mum had Hake, superb food!

Really small portion size meals Hungry after leaving Food was extremely salty Only serve cold desert, ordered the crumble and was expecting it to be hot bit it wasn't. Cold atmosphere due to the vast area in the restaurant. Heater in the corner but could not feel it, as the room was difficult to heat up and maintain the heat that was difficult. Slight damp smell on arrival. Friendly waitresses

Juke and Loe was my favourite restaurant when at its previous location so I had high hopes and expectations for the move to Kelham Island. The food is still fantastic, a real treat and is what Juke and Loe does best. The servers were attentive and very swift. However, the restaurant itself seems to have lost its intimacy and warm atmosphere. It was also very cold in actual temperature; we even sat next to a radiator and kept our jackets on. The second issue is the new chairs which are both uncomfortable (hard plastic) and are far to low for the table height. We felt like we were reaching upwards to eat. All in all, glad I went back to support the boys in their new venture, but I won't be returning : it's not the food, it's the rest of the package and not worth my hard earned cash.

Probably the best place to have lunch for £30 in Sheffield! The fusion of British and European style cuisine is incredible. The main dish fillet steak with bone marrow risotto was absolutely delicious for this price range. Definitely recommend and would visit again.

Came here for their Sunday lunch. You can do 3 courses for £40 or 2 courses for £36 (I think). Menu rotates and is seasonal I believe, and each course has 3 options to choose from (deserts had 4). I had crispy duck to start, pork belly roast for main and a chocolate thing for dessert. Big portions, rich food and absolutely delicious. Oh we also had bread and a small amuse-bouche to too. Visited Juke and Loe when they were based at their old restaurant on Eccleshall Road, and glad to say service and food is just as good.

First time to the new restaurant, went to the old one, which was very nice, not sure about this one. The food was great last time, unfortunately not so great this time. Didn't have dessert, didn't like any of them. Not for us this time.

Only been open a short while but already establishing a reputation for excellent dining. The food was absolutely delicious and I look forward to my next visit.

We both had a siverskin onion soup to start which came with a crostini with barbecue duck, we also had hoggart and pork mains which included sweetbreads and pigs head accompaniments respectfully. We finished our meal with a cheese board which included parkin and crackers. Excellent food, good service. We will be back 👍

Juke and Loe are back in the new location at The Milestone and are even better than before. Good location in Kelham island, great staff and wonderful dishes. We had a lovely saturday evening, the staff were very friendly and knowledgable and the foods were superb. Already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!

This would have been a 4-star review had it not been for the sever stomach craps after dining here. The food looked and tasted great. Wish I could put my finger on what it was exactly (have a feeling it could have been the rabbit loin as it was a bit on the pâté side in the centre). Great service and price. It has put me off the thought of ever returning.

Beautiful inside. Food was delicious. One of my fellow diners had the cauliflower soup and this is the first time I've really suffered from food envy . Delicious puddings. However, wine a little pricey. Would recommend strongly . Staff could not have been more helpful.

Beware if your party is more than 4 people - you will not be seated in the main restaurant but in an empty upstairs room, with zero atmosphere. The main restaurant can only accommodate tables of 4 people or less, but no mention is made of this when booking. My family and I (a group of 5 people) went to celebrate my 60th birthday, but the total lack of atmosphere made it a big disappointment. Also, food was nice but massively overpriced - including wine, one pre drink each and one coffee each at the end of the meal, the bill was £100 per head. I’ve eaten at Juke and Loe a few times before, but I won’t be returning.

Consistently good food and service. The menu is not extensive, but each dish is quality and beautifully presented. Saturday lunchtime is a particular treat and exceptional value.

Absolutely outstanding food and impeccable service, while also feeling safe during covid. Really great experience. Prices are great for the quality of food too! Been before and will come again! If I had any suggestion it would be to just slightly widen the wine options.

Every time we eat here, we say it's the best meal we've had. This time wasn't any different. From the Dark & Stormy cocktail, butternut arancini amuse bouche, mackerel and mushroom tart, cornish cod and cheese board, we enjoyed every single mouthful. Great food and a simple menu with wonderful flavours and well sourced ingredients. Particularly loved the blackberry dessert with liquorice and my partner had what she described as the perfect piece of duck. Lovely waiting staff too.

The food is great tasting and well presented. At gbp50 for three courses it is not too expensive. My only disappointment (hence the 3 stars) was the size of the main. I had Hake and this was at best the same size as the starter..but twice the price. My wife had lamb. This was slightly better but still to small. This took the edge of what was otherwise a lovely evening.

Amazing Trout starter, fabulous place that you should definitely visit!

Came here to celebrate my father retiring and needless to say they didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff who were very attentive. Very polite and overall top class. The food itself was delicious. Reading the menu I couldn't tell you what half the items in the dish were but the different flavours that combined were incredible. Top compliments to the chef. Especially since my parents are vegetarian. This place is a lot more up market that your average pizza express, you pay for the quality. For the quality you recieve it's a fair price. I would recommend anyone to go here and eat. It's a very young restaurant and I hope it cements it's mark on Eccesall Road for years to come!

A fantastic restaurant and an asset to the city. A very relaxed, comfortable setting and attentive but unobtrusive staff who make you feel very welcome. The food is fantastic. Good quality seasonal ingredients, cooked with incredible skill. All courses were impeccable. Wonderful flavours and a very enticing menu that will have you wanting to try everything on it! Nothing quite like it in Sheffield and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks!

Some of the best food I have ever had, the environment was amazing not too busy and the staff were super friendly. Would recommend for special occasions, 2nd onwards dates, probably a little too fancy for a first date,. That is an incredibly good thing though.

Awesome food, made our anniversary very special!

All the food was imaginative and very tasty and the three of us enjoyed three courses each. Service was good. The restaurant is quite small but had a very nice ambiance, with the background music at the right level and thankfully all the other diners not talking too loudly.

Small menu which changes on a regular basis. Good quality at a competitive price. The good thing is that they spread their bookings to allow the kitchen not to get overloaded with lots of orders coming in at same time. A little bit pricy, but still worth a visit.
