Great food, not too expensive, will definitely go back

An absolute gem of an Italian. Not on my normal radar. Group of 9 visited post work for a leaving do. Something for everyone, I chose the garlic mushrooms to start, then a mouth-watering lasagne. The restaurant was busy from 5.30 even we arrived. Heard no complaints from the surrounding tables either. An absolute find. Booking is essential. Down side is where to park your car!

Always our first choice for good food whenever we are in Sheffield. Great Italian menu, varied and always spot on. Mexican menu also available if you like a little more spice. 5 star

I have had this on my list of restaurants to get around going to for ages ...I finally did and loved it. Small restaurant. Really well cooked food with great service. I tend to judge Italian restaurants on there garlic bread, sides and fresh pasta.... they absolutely nailed it... extremely tasty carbonara. I was there with my partner and she loved all their dishes too. Objective opinion: very good! Will definitely visit again in the future. Good atmosphere. Good prices. Thanks.

AVERAGE. Only putting 2 in hopes to balance out the good reviews. £13.95 pizza had £8/£9 value. Dead fly on windowsill, given dirty utensils (fork, table and plate). Don’t see why it’s 4.7, won’t be returning

Attend tonight for my birthday. Nice, calm and relaxed setting for a wednesday evening. Music lovely. Food was fantastic. Noted to not eat a big lunch before coming as I couldn't finish. Though I found space for the dessert. Would recommend 5/5 will come again.

Great food and really kind and attentive staff! Very reasonable prices, 3 course meal with alcoholic drinks set us back about £70. The tiramisu was especially good.

Fabulous meal, beautifully cooked and great service. The only downside was the noise level from some of the other guests, and the restaurant couldn't do anything about that. Definitely recommend a visit!

In my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Sheffield. I have tried the rest and now the best. Everything was very very good. Service was excellent, food was excellent, price was very good for value. I had the Mexican Calzone. It was immense! So big! I have never had a small portion here, aside have had at other Italian restaurants. I would highly recommend this for everyone to visit. Thank you.

Fantastic as always. The staff excel in their service. But the reason we keep coming back time after time is the Food . Whatever we both have had over the years has always been exceptional. Tonight for example I had mussels off the special board .Wow, I,ve had mussels in plenty if restaurants all around the world ,but I kid you not ,These were the best. For my main I had cod Bacalau ,excuse my spelling , but off the main menu, if you look .Wonderful. Great place ,Great staff, Great wine at a reasonable price This place has it all .Nice that they had trimmed up for Xmas as well .Rich.

Fantastic as always. The staff excellent as everyday, but really why we keep coming back time after time is the Food. Tonight I had mussels off the special board ,oh wow, I have eaten mussels from all around the world in some excellent restaurants, and tonight beat them all. I KID YOU NOT. just some plain bread with the sauce and you have a meal. For the main I had cod Bacalua ,excuse my spelling , but its on the main menu. Wonderful. We went for our anniversary meal , the food was fantastic as always. Paulo always looks after us , I’ve been to many Italian restaurants in London and in Italy but Setti colli is by far our favourite Italian restaurant. Everything about it is pure class . We will be back again very soon !!!

A unique location at the side of a service station- you feel closed off from the world inside though, it is nice and cozy. I have never been to a place that specializes in both Italian and Mexican food before. We had Mexican for starters and Italian for the main so we got to try both. I am a big fan of calzone and while it was tasty enough, I didn't think the quality blew me away, hence the star off. The portions were massive- and I have a decent appetite- so it was good value. Oh and really appreciated the double little treat that came with the bill- a lovely touch.

Alot of people crammed into a very small space, very loud, couldn't have a conversation with anyone at the table without shouting.. meal was quite expensive, steak was far to spicy to eat.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Hillsborough if not Sheffield. This place is as authentic as you can get and nothing is any trouble at all. The food was just amazing and the service was natural and welcoming. Thank you for your hospitality.

Went on a Monday night , 6 of us. We all had the 2 course special. All the food was served quickly ,was piping hot and extremely tasty. Fantastic value for money, couldn't rate it high enough. Lovely cosy restaurant.

Always excellent. Never had a bad meal. The small restaurant leads to a great atmosphere. Will go again. Booking a table in advance is essential.

Small Restaurant, Big Personality! This place has to be on your bucket list. Succulent prawn, juicy chicken, every course packed full of flavour! I felt like I wanted a rest and then go again. I would recommend this for the perfect date night, a group get together or a week night tea. Absolute treat and not over priced. I had to get my desert to go, because I have the fear of missing out but I was full to the brim! Belisimo!

Love this place. Always consistently good. Very good value. Had a steak on the last visit that could rival the best anywhere. It was full within 10 minutes of opening on Sunday evening; which says a lot. Staff are great, too.

Told the waiter (manager) that I had an intolerance to peppers and he rolled his eyes and said but obviously not chilli He obviously doesn’t know the difference and was he was rude All the staff missable Shame food wasn’t that bad but won’t be returning as I hate bad service

5 stars of pure fun!!!!!!!!!!! went out for a casual tuesday evening meal with friends and was BLOWN away by sette colli, felt like a Friday! Food was good value for money as we had the 15.95 set menu with plenty of options and lovely things to try. Staff were attentive and kept handing out sombreros to the lucky birthday boys and girls. Wish it was me. Great location, wine was nice, coke was nice, mozzarella triangle with sauce was nice too. BUT TIRAMISU STOLE THE SHOW FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS!! we noticed they even added three portions of squirty cream because there were three of us. couldn't recommend highly enough if I tried but hope this review shows a glimmer of my satisfaction. Crammed, loud and overrated! Food is extremely authentic for what it is. “Authentic” garlic bread… you mean a cheese and garlic pizza?!?! Lasagna not the best either. The calzone on my table also looked ridiculously overfilled. Not for me again.

Good food, however i would avoid the pizzas, theyre ok but for 15/16 quid id expect better. I would go for a calzone or pasta in the future

Came here for our 6th year anniversary on the 20th May although my husband forgot to mention this when he booked. Service was fantastic Food was fantastic Atmosphere was fantastic

Always a treat to go here. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere really lovely and cosy. Attentive waiters and the food comes out fairly quick. The garlic bread with tomato and cheese is a must. Definitely recommend, great for birthdays or celebrations.

I love this little gem, I've visited several times and it never disappoints. If you love classic Italian food, good service in a relaxed atmosphere, it's here! I'd love to share some pictures but the food is so nice it's always half eaten before I think about it.

Had lots of visits here for eating in and takeaway and never disappointed, staff friendly and efficient, had a large range of foods on the menu and have not had a bad meal will continue dining here

me and my partner come here regularly and are never disappointed! My favourite place to come for an occasion or if we just fancy a treat, great fast service and beautiful food everytime. The portions are big so definitely worth the price, we have been coming for nearly 3 years now. Only a small restaurant but almost always manage to fit us in even on short notice!

Unbelievable food, thank-you. It can get quite busy, is only a small place and the staff work very hard to make sure everyone is happy. Have been numerous times and will be back.

Great little restaurant with consistently good quality food and wine. We went as a family, my daughters pestered us to go for the cheese fritters in tomato sauce starters which are cracking for the kids and the sauce is so good the little one spent about 10 minutes clearing the whole lot. I had pasta for main meal, which he kindly on request baked in the oven with cheese on which wasn't specified on the menu but just what I fancied. My youngest had a pizza, the eldest had a spicy chicken pancake, and my partner had chicken. All cooked lovely, very tasty and washed down with a carafe of red wine which is proper old school! Staff are tentative, quick and friendly. The only reason it isn't a 5 star is the table was a little crammed in but it didn't have a huge impact on the evening, splitting hairs really.

My first time here and I'll definitely be back. Service was great and the food was beautiful. It was a bit warm when we arrived but they soon turned the air con a bit cooler and it sorted it out. It's a small restaurant but it didn't feel too cramped. There was 12 on our table and everyone said they enjoyed their meal. Prices are pretty good for the 2 course set price. I do wish they had a lager on draft, but not a deal breaker. 09/01/2023 My second visit. Food was beautiful again and service was too. Really like this place and definitely recommend it.

Had food there tonight. The food was ok.. nothing special if I’m honest and most of the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. One guy (possibly the manager) was a little bit rude which we all noticed and laughed about. Can’t give it anymore than a 2 star unfortunately. 3 if the manager was a little bit more polite! Sorry..

Recommended by a friend, Sette Colli is by far the best restaurant I have been to especially in Sheffield and surrounding areas. I am not exaggerating! Unbelievable food. Starters, mains and desserts are top tier. Friendly service, helpful, polite. Prices are what you expect in a pretty Italian restaurant, I believe they could charge more and I’d still come! You even get a nice treat after your meal! I suggest you book in to find out.. 👍🏼

Tried this restaurant 3 years ago and it was fantastic !! This time round it was shocking £25 for steak and you get a sauce and frozen fries not very authentic really I'm my opinion I believe you really do need to have a rethink regarding your restaurant, menu etc Instead of cutting corners if you are serving fries make fresh one ,chunky home made and your sauces come on guys its gravy with fresh cream !!

So me and my partner and parents have spoken about going to this place for a little while now after hearing great reviews in regards to the food so we booked a table for last night (Thurs 1st Dec) as it was a pre-Christmas meal treat from myself as this is something we always tend to do around the Christmas season... We arrived and was shown two tables to choose from but the staff didn't seem overly friendly or welcoming if I'm being quite honest. Food was lovely enough don't get me wrong, but the service wasn't the best, my partner is a chef and has worked in hospitality most of his life and he commented the exact same as the rest of our party. We were not once asked how the food was and we were offered black pepper on our starter dishes to which I replied "Yes please" and the waiter never bothered to come back and proceeded to ignore us on numerous occasions, they were more bothered about a birthday party of 14 that had booked but as I see it every customer is a potential returning customer/regular if treated right so you should treat all your customers with the same service and attitude. After mains there was no offer of desserts or more drinks and we were just pointed to look at a dessert board on the wall. We felt rather uncomfortable to say the least and like we were a burden and had to physically call a waiter over when we needed service. I'm half Italian myself and when I've been to Italy I have been treated with much more professional attitude, attentiveness and respect and even when I went to pay the bill (they didn't bring it after we requested it) I was met with a member of staff who I believe to be a manager with zero personality and just a glum look on his face just throwing the card machine at me so I decided to reduce my tip as was going to pay a lot more obviously if service was up to standard but it wasn't, probably one of the worst service experiences I've ever encountered. It's safe to say I don't think we will be visiting again. I'm pretty sure there are much better Italian restaurants in Sheffield so we will try elsewhere next time, such a disappointment as this place could be really good if drastic improvements were made and three stars were given purely based on the food alone nothing else which I think is rather generous considering our experience...

I honestly never 'rate' places to eat. I'm ALWAYS disappointed. But honestly this place is amazing, so tasty and worth the value. Its better than I expected, beautiful flavours. I will definitely recommend to everyone!

Sette colli is without a doubt some of the best Italian food we have ever had. However the rest of the restaurant does not do the food justice, the tables are really packed in and it is difficult to squeeze through in parts. Further because of this it is loud and lacks any kind of atmosphere, it was also uncomfortably warm which we suspect was also due to how packed in it was. The servers were polite and friendly but were always in a hurry and were difficult to get hold of. To compound this further, my partner was initially brought the wrong dish until we pointed it out, and then later the wrong drink. We felt that this resulted from the servers rushing off before checking things properly. Another small but important thing was the state of the drinks menu which felt to the touch stickier than a nightclub floor. Which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant overall. To conclude we may have the food to takeaway but will probably not be back to the restaurant itself in a hurry as all these issues could not be excused by the exceptional food.

19 of us for a meal and ever meal was perfect as usual .
